Fair criticism. The “No KYC” wording in the title was a mistake on our side, and we’ve removed it.

We don’t want to advertise something that our Terms don’t support. KYC isn’t required from every user by default, but we can and do request verification when required under our compliance procedures.

We’re new to the forum and there will probably be a few things you guys catch that we can improve. When you’re right, we’ll say you’re right and fix it.

I would like to thank you for your honesty about this point. Recently, we have seen many services pretending to be NOKYC in a big bold ads, while they mention this clearly in the TOS. Their justification is that they will only enforce KYC when detection something suspicious, which is no difference from the usual KYC services. After correcting this, i am sure you have gain more trust than just defending an incorrect position instead of focusing in improving the system. Welcome to bitcointalk and keep going.

Is the giveaway quoted below related to your casino? I just saw someone post it on the gambling discussion board. Would be nice if you can clarify if it is related to your casino or not.
Yes, you can find in the x.com powerwin account: https://x.com/powerwin_casino/status/2094491935780294802
I saw that too on the gambling discussion board. I think the op was skeptical because it's a newly launched casino. But since the casino now has a presence on the forum and is also running a signature campaign that's managed by a reputable manager, I think it will help to reduce some level of doubts for those who would like to participate from the forum.

Well,, this is somehow interesting. I know the chances of getting on the list of winners would be crazy, but there is absolutely no harm in trying right? I mean what's the worse that could happen.

I think I will give the official account on X a follow now and possibly turn on the notifications so when there is an update, I will get to know the gig and possibly get actively involved if it's something interesting.

There is zero reason to be skeptical

The giveaway is only asking you to tag two friends and a retweet. It is not asking for money or anything that can be used for scamming.

If the casino or website is fake, it will not result in any damage just because you participated in the giveaway. The only bad thing is giving free marketing, but they are also paying a signature campaign in the forum and so there is no reason to waste money if they are not real Cheesy

That's when I realized it's not something different from having a Curaçao license. From what I've read, this license can be acquired more quickly compared to having a Curaçao license, and according to the article, this license is also cheaper compared to the Curaçao license. In any case, I hope the casino provides good services and that we don't see scam accusations against them.
You do realize that Curacao license is one of the best ones available at the moment, don't you? It's even better than Anjouan license implying that this Tobique one seems decent based on my research related to it. Don't just depend on what a single site says.

Never heard of this rikk-law.com either. Anyway, scam accusations will pop up for this site just like any other site. Important thing is them rectifying the legit ones efficiently. Think!

Never heard of this rikk-law.com either. Anyway, scam accusations will pop up for this site just like any other site. Important thing is them rectifying the legit ones efficiently. Think!

You're not understanding anything I'm saying, from what I see. When you say that Curaçao's license is one of the best, what do you mean by that?

Is it more expensive and therefore better?

Does the existence of many casinos with such a license mean that the license is better?

Let's look at a practical example so you understand where I'm going with my post (and no, I'm not accusing this casino, just to be clear):

Person X creates an account at this Canadian-licensed casino, deposits $3,000, wins $100,000, and upon withdrawal, the casino blocks this person's account.

Person Z creates an account at another casino licensed in Curaçao, deposits $3,000, wins $100,000, and upon withdrawal, the casino blocks this person's account.

I ask you:

If Person X complains to the licensing provider of this Canadian-licensed casino, will Person X have their case resolved? Will the licensing provider ban the casino?

If another person complains to the licensing provider of the Curaçao-licensed casino, will Person X have their case resolved? Will the licensing provider ban the casino?

I'll answer: in both cases, the licensing provider will do absolutely nothing; they won't even care. So, to repeat myself, when I saw the Canadian flag, I thought that, as Canada is a first-world country, the license they would have would be something incredibly difficult to obtain, and that they would only have it if they had physical offices in Canada. That's why I asked them to show me such a license; I didn't imagine they were talking about licenses like Curaçao's.

Look, here in my country, gambling is legal and widely encouraged by my government, and the government issues licenses. But if a casino fails to make a payment, you just have to complain to my country's licensing provider, and the casino will be obliged to return the money immediately. That's why there are no cases of scams in casinos in my country.

And just to be clear: I'm not disparaging licenses from Curaçao, Canada, or any other country. I just thought that a Canadian license would be difficult to obtain and that it would be from a rigorous provider like the ones I see in my country.

I love the fact that they are obviously listening to the community and correcting their mistakes to reflect what is obtainable in their platform. I think this is the first casino that is boldly stating it in clear terms their stand on KYC which is good. I know that Rainbet and Duelbits also do not enforce KYC for their players although they can ask for it if they feel it is necessary and this is exactly captured in their TOS. That is how I know a casino that cherishes their integrity. I hope that Power.win follow their footsteps to become one of the biggest casino in the forum.

Well,, this is somehow interesting. I know the chances of getting on the list of winners would be crazy, but there is absolutely no harm in trying right? I mean what's the worse that could happen.

It will cost you absolutely nothing. The casino is not asking participants to deposit money and wager it to be eligible for the giveaway. Interested participants need to carry out a very simple task, and the whole process will only take just a few minutes of their time. So, yeah, you can give it a shot.

I agree that it's better to be open about KYC than to apply the No KYC label and leave it in the Terms in a dark place. It's best for players to know what the real policy is before they put money in or play rather than when they want to take money out. I also believe that Power.win took the criticism rightfully. It's better to admit the wording is wrong and correct it.It is better to be wrong than to have to defend something that could lead users astray. Trust takes time to build. And the true measure will be what they actually do with the policies they say in real terms when they are faced with the real players and when they're faced with the real withdrawals. As long as they have that much openness. It can certainly help them build their reputation in the forum.

Op you are welcome to the forum. What I wanted to asked, has been answered because at first I was also confused. Seen two license company in one casino. Okay, you registered the company in Costa Rica and licensed with Canada. That is clearly now. But in your ANN thread should make it, that KYC is required in some degree (level) either in fiat or huge amount withdrawal. But it will be good you do the KYC from the registration instead of stressing people when they want to withdraw huge amount. If you do that, you will have problem with gamblers and to avoid that you have to require all players in the casino t start their KYC before using the casino.

I visited the website without issue. And I saw the UI and navigate around the forum and also checking the license and other things but when. On the tour, I suddenly got a pop up message that my location is restricted to visit the site/ or power in is not available in my region but I visited the site and everything was normal so what happened?

It happens sometimes with some casino's websites like they sometimes detect you are from a restricted nation, sometimes don't. Maybe it is their false negative detection until their automatic tool turns to accurately detecting you are from a restricted nation or area.

Honestly, it's not perfect but it's not terrible if they always detect users from restricted nation/ area if they try to register accounts. It is only terrible if they allow you register account, fund your account, even bet, and later if you win, they pull the restricted nationality against you and your money.

Power.win's ToS does not have Nigeria in restricted list so did you use VPN or Tor.

I will not register to a casino who send me such message from the website because if if happens in the future my deposit is gone. Though they said the casino is VPN friendly but I don't like using VPN because VPN and KYC are the two major things casinos used in confiscating gamblers accounts. I used a normal browser without addictional enforcement app.

The comparison with Rainbet and Duelbits isn't that accurate in your example. Rainbet and Duelbits aren't promoting themselves as NOKYC casinos since the day one lunch casino. They are also honest at the point they didn't start with hiding the KYC enforcement at the beginning to obtain as much recognition as possible before revealing the truth, which is a technique that many casinos uses at the point it become a blatant lie for every licensed casino. Power.win shows a lot of honesty after reading community position toward this detail and this is a 1+ for them.

Appreciate you calling this one out.

I think these are the few sites that I have seen that actually corrected this thing. I have interacted in a few threads, and most of them believe that as long as they are not requesting KYC by default, then they are a no-KYC casino, even if in their TOS they have a phrase there that gives them the power to request the documents anywhere they want.

By the way, welcome to the forum. Your site design looks nice. I have yet to create an account, and I think I will do that after this post.
