On September 18 and 19, Bitcoin’s market price once again defied the reality of what was happening outside the market regarding legislation that failed to gain support. The Fed raised interest rates, among other developments. However, this did not cause prices to fall; instead, the price surged past $80,000, and the current market price for Bitcoin is ranging between $80,000 and $81,000, with the potential to rise above $81,000 again. This increase occurred within just a 24-hour period.
Isn't it wonderful though as the market defies the odds, goes up to $81k and if it really go strong then at the end of the month we could see around $82k'ish. But I wouldn't interpret it as a bull run or a super cycle though. Many things can still happen, although at the back of our minds, we don't want to see the bottom or $50k. Or at least we have seen the bottom already at $57k.

So let's see, it's weekend so it might slow down a bit as investors or traders are resting and could be just very happy on what they are seeing right now.

The interesting thing about this poll is the shift of sentiment after just a single strong monthly candle. An increase of 25% in August can give people the feeling that the trend has changed and a similar-sized correction may well elicit the opposite reaction just as swiftly. For this reason, I feel sentiment polls are helpful for a snapshot but not to say what the market is headed towards. It would be interesting to see how people's sentiment matched the market performance later in the month, and how this compares with the results of the September sentiment.

If we pay attention to the market now continues to maintain its position above $75k, so far it has not changed as before at the level of $63-$64 that you mentioned we should have a very big chance for bitcoin to come out of the bear market this month, plus we will welcome octobull, a corny story but it is very important to note, because it usually gives a different sentiment to the market, although I see the potential for bearish engulfing, but I hope it's just my imagination.

If this month returns bitcoin to its strongest support at $60k, then it will only be a week and bitcoin will again experience a surge in demand from retailers and institutions, the end of the year is always pleasant except for 2022.

The market is very technical now. The probability for a Bearish engulfing trend is now limited except if the current bullish trend fails. This trend is EXPECTED to break $83k for a BULLISH CONTINUATION PATTERN. Right now, $76k  support zone can fail again if tested. I think $97k is visible using (2:1 range value). Everything seems intact here from my perspective.

Yes that's what I expected, hopefully it fails and the market returns to the bullis trend, let alone we will welcome the month of October which we often know as octobull right? there will start a very good journey for a much better market momentum.

Take a good look at this table.

October should be green now too, because from the average of October we always have a good increase, at worst it is only -12%, and that is not something to worry about, I think this kind of narrative is still useful especially the OG I think they also still have that belief here.

Thanks for this info. This definitely shed more light on Bitcoin past price timeline. Even without it, all other indicators is still green including price action. So except this fails, then I'll share my sentiments here .

Was that it?  Are we out of the bear market?
I may be speculating from previous experience, Bitcoin market conditions like this often happen, I speculate dynamically, even though in real terms Bitcoin price movements are strong, up to 25%, as the current price has touched the price at $82k, but I am still careful.

I tried to look at the data and tried to check several crypto platforms for overall positive sentiment. It didn't increase evenly and proportionally, my speculation tended to be more towards neutral-consolidative for the current crypto market.

Even though currently the Bitcointalk community discussion pattern indicates the market is moving and immediately skyrocketing, but I take the previous statistics that September can be said to have a bad and negative impact on the development of the crypto market, I believe that September is a crucial testing month for Bitcoin.

I tried to look at the data and tried to check several crypto platforms for overall positive sentiment. It didn't increase evenly and proportionally, my speculation tended to be more towards neutral-consolidative for the current crypto market.
Although these market sentiments are interesting to look at and analyze but they don't indicate market movements. For example on 2026-08-16 the overall market sentiment was negative and many were talking about a bear market that will last long and price that would drop down to $50k, specially since for 9 days price has been going lower and lower.
But on 17th the price jumped up $2000 and within 5 days price had gone up $20000.

With that said, I should add that the market sentiment is still effective to some extent. The current "cautions sentiment" has slowed down that rise, otherwise we'd be testing $100k resistant by now instead of playing another jumprope with the $80k level.

Isn't it wonderful though as the market defies the odds, goes up to $81k and if it really go strong then at the end of the month we could see around $82k'ish.

The gap between $81k and $82k is pretty small, so expecting much from such a tiny difference doesn't really make sense.

Personally, I also don't think the bear market is over, or that we're entering a bull run from here. But as always, anything can happen and we shouldn't rule out any possibility. Maybe $57k was the bottom, but there's no guarantee we won't go back there, or even lower.

It's still way too early to call it. So imo, we should just stay prepared for whatever comes.

Well, market sentiment can flip pretty quickly in either direction. As for the $80k resistance, the bulls have been testing it for quite some time, but so far, it's held up. However, it's only a matter of time before the level breaks, and once it does, "cautious sentiment" could quickly turn into FOMO.

So let's see, it's weekend so it might slow down a bit as investors or traders are resting and could be just very happy on what they are seeing right now.

If you’ve been paying attention, this isn’t the first time the market has defied predictions. Price surges reaching $81,000 when the Fed raised interest rates and legislation that didn’t gain much support in parliament—these aren’t the first instances of this.
The market isn’t yet in a bull or bear trend—defined as a price above or below 50% of its all-time high (ATH)—so perhaps most people are waiting for Bitcoin to hit bottom.
All I need to watch is the speculation surrounding September—whether it will be red or green based on monthly returns.

But the $80k is not the resistance though. It is a round number so it may look like it but the actual resistance is at $82k since that's the level we are stuck below and in fact we are currently sitting closer to $81k so if $80k were a resistance it is already broken.

We probably need price to go higher, like to $85k+ for the FOMO to kick in and we see another leg up like what we saw last month when price broke $70k and suddenly reached $80k+ Smiley

Real test out if Bitcoin could ever reach at $82k zone, since this is where it struggle to past. If we could see it cleared that area. possible next movement is it will head at $85k, especially if it gets more momentum.

Usually in that situation those people buy in FOMO also those who trades when there's momentum will came in. This is the same situation on which we see Bitcoin break out from past couple of months.

Right now we are still waiting if there's more bullish movement came, because this is really good to us if we see Bitcoin hit for another great digits.

The price of the world's largest cryptocurrency increased by almost 5% to reach above $81 thousand, so it is clear to us that it has recovered from the mid-levels of about $75 thousand. You'll notice that many are speculating that lower oil prices, advancing US crypto regulations, and strong inflows into Bitcoin ETFs have led to the rise in Bitcoin prices.

As it is late September but still Bitcoin price is still above $81K today and according to monthly return Bitcoin price has gained 3.37% this September. Therefore as per the monthly returns it can be assumed that this month will be green as in the previous three years in September the price of Bitcoin has been bullish.

We're very probably far more positive this weekly close then the prior 5 weeks, such a good recovery its now pushed BTC above its yearly average price.  This is the first time its done so and closed the weekly bar positively since the 2nd week of November last year, its been a while.
Add in the golden cross reestablished, it appears September will prove the bull market is correct and in place for this month and going forward.

I heard tis golden cross again, and comparing to the previous cycle, it's looks like we are about to break another trendline. In either case, I would like for us to move forward and maybe testing new waters like $85k or above.

So let's see what awaits us before the end of the month. At least being in the positive candle is not that bad as a follow up to a huge and massive uptick last month. But still, as others said, we should err a word of caution for everyone.

With that said, I should add that the market sentiment is still effective to some extent. The current "cautions sentiment" has slowed down that rise, otherwise we'd be testing $100k resistant by now instead of playing another jumprope with the $80k level.

Well, market sentiment can flip pretty quickly in either direction. As for the $80k resistance, the bulls have been testing it for quite some time, but so far, it's held up. However, it's only a matter of time before the level breaks, and once it does, "cautious sentiment" could quickly turn into FOMO.
That's right, the sentiment can flip very fast.

There's an excellent premise for further growth: after a 29 percent surge in just over a month, Bitcoin closed above its 50-week moving average. This is the first time this has happened in 45 weeks. Historically, such a crossover has confirmed that the market has transitioned from a bearish to a bullish phase, as analytics says.

In general, as the chart shows, Bitcoin interacts strongly with the major moving averages: note how clearly the 200WMA served as support, which was never broken.

And Bitcoin closed the past three Septembers in the positive, despite the fact that this was the month before Uptober.

Upd: BTC 84k!

So far so good. We are waiting for Bitcoin price to jump this hurdle to $83k. If it fails to break, then it only means one thing left. . .  Shocked All eyes are on this level.

The market has just taken an extraordinary turn; we're sitting above $81k. I think this is more of a technical price rebound—a genuine surge in ETF demand following the panic-driven dip caused by regulatory news, combined with heavy short squeezes. That's how I see it.

It's clear that the market doesn't move strictly based on politics, geopolitical events, and wars. This time, the drive came more from direct market-related demand, but I still wouldn't classify it as a full-blown bull run just yet, despite what everyone wants to portray. It's not that I'm pessimistic, but we have to evaluate market movements in light of what's happening globally.

If world events were a bit calmer, wow, things would certainly look different. Right now, the price push has likely been fueled by the inflow of institutional money entering the space.

Bitcoin price has regained its high value after a long decline, currently Bitcoin price is touching $85.4k. Bitcoin price has increased since the beginning of September, but Bitcoin price is going to increase more in the third week, but I think Bitcoin price will definitely touch $100k by the end of September. Since the market is now strong and there is a lot of pressure to buy Bitcoin in the market, Bitcoin price is constantly moving towards improvement.
The market is going to be bullish. Do not panic and sell your Bitcoin holdings in this general bullish market, but buy more Bitcoins with your holdings.

I already sent it that this new week should be bullish the way last week ended and we had the market performing in a similar pattern to show an indication for bull, 85,000 is interesting and this is showing that we could possibly get closer to 90,000 before the end of this month, as all things being equal, the more we go the better it becomes even though we are not existing the bear season yet, but there is still more to discover about the market performance this month of September and even beyond.

Ha. . . BTC hits $85k today!!! As predicted . . . All things being equal, this trend should last. What institutional money are you referring to? All indicators from all strategy says bullish except if support fails to hold.

And just like that the market springs into action and the rises start. We hit $86k today very rapidly. If this trend continues it won't be long before we are at that stage where if you blink you miss the rise!
