We are still in the bear market despite the fact that it seems to be bullish for now, therefore that a market surge and perform well does not mean the total exit from the bear market to the Bull run season, therefore I will be more speculative to see that this month is more of police trend in market price than falling as we experience in previous months, but not a conclusion to realize or actualize that we are already in the bull season, very possible that the market fall and still rises, what are the conclusion still remains that this month can be bullish than how  many may expect it to be bearish.

Judging by past data, September is usually a very good month for Bitcoin as it saw the beginning of bull run in 2023 and many other years. I would have been highly optimistic that this September was also gojng to be the beginning of a massive pump in price but since Bitcoin have been on the rise for most part of Augist that used to be a bear month, I'm expecting Bitcoin to be in consolidation for most part of this month. Price can continue bouncing between between $70,000 to $85,000.

Bitcoin has not increased up to $85000. It has only increased slightly above $81000. So there will be no consolidation yet if bitcoin has not increased above the price you said it will be consolidating.

Also if bitcoin is bouncing from $70000 to $85000, people will not see that as consolidation. They will only see it as a volatile market. In consolidation period, the market will not be volatile up to that extent.

I think the price will retrace back to $65k this month because the market has no momentum that will cause the price to continue with the uptrend. Besides, the activities that made the price to experience this short term increase is not enough for the price to continue skyrocketing.

September is going to be bullish and I have seen it already with the way August went with market pump that left us at $80,000 from $64,000.

Don't be deceived by the bullish move that just occurred, September is not a bullish month and for the fact that the price didn't continue with the uptrend after it crossed $80k could mean that it might be the top for this year.

If we get a third green confirmation candle on the monthly chart, I think that we should be able to see a nice stable footing for Bitcoin. Is this us out of the woods just yet? No but we are very close. Next month we will know with a greater probability but for today, let us just say that it is a nice pump.

I try not to get too caught up with all the candle and charts though. Bitcoin can change course by doing a 180° spin into a different direction for seemingly no reason. It has happened before.

I don't think we're completely out of the bear market at the moment.

Yes, we're happy with the recent uptrend movement but before we can term it as a proper trend reversal, Bitcoin will have to maintain higher levels for some period of time.

With what we're currently seeing in the market, I won't be surprised if a pull back happens. How the Bitcoin price moves around the 70k area in the next few weeks will give me a more convincing stand.

I've say no. We are still in the control of the bears. Sure we did have a good run to reach $80k but then we see a correction. Even if we reach that high again, technically, our target is $126k or higher to say that we are out of the bear market.

And if we look at the historical logs, the catalyst of a bull run is the halving and we are still very far from it. I know that there are some proponents of a super cycle, but so far none of it are happening.

I don't think it's a question of whether we'll break out.
Starting in the last two weeks of August, no one expected a bullish rally. This September, I might have the same feeling as in August, although not exactly the same as the August rally.
It's still entirely possible that a sudden pattern will make many people excited again about a possible rally towards the end of September. I realize this isn't a certainty.
I've studied the weekly chart on TradingView; I believe the pattern will move sideways and slowly rise to a maximum of $79,000.

This strategy will support Bitcoin quite well this month as well because no such strategy has been made in the last 2 months. Although the price is falling in the market since the beginning of this month, Bitcoin was at $78,000 earlier, but today is September 2 and the price of Bitcoin is at $76,000. If the price continues to move up and down slowly like this, we can see the price above $80,000 this month, in addition to that, we can also see the price going down. When good news comes, it has an effect, but it does not last long, so as time goes by, the price is going down and if the market does not get good support throughout this week, the market can go below $75,000 and it can also look quite bad if it happened at the beginning of this month. I picked yes because from my analysis, it looks like the down trend is done already, what is likely to happen is just a correctional down move to the demand zone where the bullish trend started from and then a pick to the up sides to create another high. I don't think price will go dip below the $58k low because that seems to me like the final bottom for the bear market. Although anything can still happen because most of the time price tends to prove most analysis wrong by doing what it likes to do.

august is also usually known as a bad month for Bitcoin, with negative returns in many years. but bitcoin just finished august with an impressive gain of over 24%. so imo, using historical monthly patterns to make predictions is not very convincing.

i would not make any definite statement about a market as volatile and unpredictable as Bitcoin. if it can shoot up, it can also drop hard.
historically, the last few months of the year are often when the market finds a bottom, so don't get too confident just because of what's happening right now.

Just like what I did with my prediction (which was wrong ANW) last month, I'll do the same as well because... why not?

I put a rectangle on the months of August and September during the bear market years which are 2014, 2018, 2022 and this year 2026. Notice the pattern? Both months ended up in the same candle. In all of those 3 bear market excluding 2026, both months ended in a red candle. Now last August, we saw Bitcoin ended up in a green candle, so there's a possibility that we might see the month of September as a bullish month as well because... that's what history has showed us.

With this, I expect that September will be a green month but of course, we still be careful because we don't know what could happen with the market. One tweet, one bad news, one negative event could change the course of price movement of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin did what it had to do in August; what a decisive breakout and recovery!

I've always maintained lately that my BTC chart observation would be very simple, and this has been helping me. The monthly chart's EMA50 has been key, at least for now. I was strongly monitoring it and the price action that could happen around it in August. And when the US announced the double debt payback, it was easy to see how Bitcoin easily sliced through that level at a price a little lower than $67,000. It then headed higher to over $12,000 add ups thereafter.

Now, being above the line is decieve enough for me in September, though it might be a rollercoaster situation, yet I remain bullish above the level.

From 2013 to 2025, September ended red 8 times and green only 5 times. More importantly, during bear market years, September was red most of the time. So looking at the overall history, September usually hasn't been a good month for Bitcoin.

But the current market is a bit different, since Bitcoin had a pretty strong run last month. So it's still reasonable to expect this month to be green as well.

Still, don't get too confident. We need to be careful because just one tweet, a piece of bad news can completely change the direction of Bitcoin.

Yeah...  I guess we'll see in the next couple of weeks how things pan out as it could change pretty fast as you said. 

But what really surprised me is how people are seem to be still  in a bearish mindset.  I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it but it just makes me think that it could be one of those ones when the market is going into bull mode but everybody is still waiting for more confirmation.  Dunno...

Not that September is cursed for Bitcoin performance, but there are times whereby we can discover market coincidence that are related to a particular month of period of time, this month of September could make a different change of story since we are just starting it and we don't know how it is going to end it, but we can always be sure of the market volatility happening on both the rising and falling, which we still experience both in the same month of September regardless of the year.

I voted maybe because it's not an iron-clad indicator for a strong monthly candle just yet. I'm more interested to see if September can sustain the August rally or if the market needs a big rally yet again. I'd prefer it if BTC takes time to build up at higher levels than if they suddenly pumped up and then pulled back to lower levels. A separate point is that sentiment appears to have turned very sharply on the heels of a strong rally in August. I would like to see the price action after all the frenzy has died down before declaring the next market a bull market.
