Beware of Fake Middlemen and Scam Accounts in OGU Telegram Groups

These accounts and many others claiming to be associated with OGU is fake and intended to scam users.

Here’s how the scam works: They arrange a middleman (MM) for a dea for example, offering to pay 2:1 for a dirty coin. The user then insists that you use their MM and sends you a group link containing accounts operated by fake impersonators they have arranged.

The entire setup is designed to make you pay first transaction to look legitimate while stealing your funds. Stay away from OGU related Telegram groups and accounts, as many of them connected to scams

Telegram is full scammers but, they're everywhere and in every platform even on the forum. Someone who claims that they can deal with you in a cheaper exchange is too good to be true.

The entire setup is designed to make you pay first transaction to look legitimate while stealing your funds.

This is already a red flag, never go first and if someone wants to do a trade from the forum and not with a telegram contact. Use the escrow and reputable people of the forum: Few Trusted Escrow Providers
And if not, just simply go to exchanges and the purchase or selling there.

This is an old scam tactic that has been happening over the years. Impersonation is something you should always be about to warn your community about. It seems obvious, but some people still fall for such scams.
