What do you mean about Bitcoin?in terms of investment, usage, etc.?

I’m involved on Bitcoin for a long time and I witness a lot of ups and down market but what impress me is the fact that Bitcoin growth is continuous on exponential level which means a simple holding can make you rich someday.

This experience of my mine gave me confidence to invest more when everyone is selling. I’m motivated to acquire more whenever there’s a good opportunity.

The long-term perspective matters the most, if you ask me.
Bitcoin itself has always gone through brutal cycles, but those who really understand the underlying structure tend to see volatility as part of the journey rather than a reason to panic.
The key, especially during periods of fear (which can pay off), is having conviction backed by research and managing risk rather than making assumptions.
If done right, though, Bitcoin does go up, and that realisation motivates me the most.

You’re very correct, what really motivated me into bitcoin was the freedom aspect, instead of going to the bank to stand in the queue before they can even attend to you, is so stressful but bitcoin has made it so easy for everyone to be in control of their money anytime and anywhere. I usually advised people to invest with amount they can afford to lose, this helps to avoid regret. Anyone who really wants a good return should have the mindset of longterm strategy rather than Chasing after short term returns, which can lead to loss.

Bitcoin not only gives freedom, but it also gives people financial security. Bitcoin has brought people from third party controlling to private ownership. And to manage this overall thing properly, a bitcoin holder has to be responsible enough. Since the price of bitcoin is very unstable in the short term, if someone wants to hold bitcoin for investment purposes, they have to accept the instability of the price of bitcoin and invest according to the long-term hodling mindset. Because the long term feedback of bitcoin is quite profitable . Holding it for at least 4 years increases the possibility of making a lot of profit from bitcoin. Newbies may be interested in many features of bitcoin, but by combining all the good features responsibly and according to their own convenience, people have to ensure their own advantages through bitcoin without mental pressure. I just love that it's a decentralized currency which makes it tough to the government to totally control it, another that motivates me to love it more is that it has a fixed market cap that can't changed thereby making it easier to be progressive cause when the supply is lesser thsn the demand it would continue being more valuable on the long run. What motivates me about Bitcoin?

Hmmm... apart from all the good things about Bitcoin, the limited supply is one of the things that motivates me the most. My approach to this is like how wealth distribution works in this world. According to https://www.oxfam.org/en/press-releases/worlds-top-1-own-more-wealth-95-humanity-shadow-global-oligarchy-hangs-over-un, the world’s top 1% own more wealth than 95% of humanity. So, my target is to join that world’s top 1%.

The current world population according to https://www.worldometers.info/world-population is around 8.314B. Here https://www.bitgo.com/resources/blog/bitcoins-invisible-burn-lost-coins-outpace-new-supply they said approximately 2.3 to 4M BTC have been lost so far. But let's just use 2.3M. So, the effective BTC supply until now minus the total BTC that has been lost since the beginning is 21M minus 2.3M = 18.7M.

Then to become the world’s top 1% in terms of BTC x world population:
18.7 million / (1% x 8.27 billion) = 0.226 BTC.

This raw calculation made me think, I probably don't have a chance to be in the world's top 1% in terms of global wealth, but with BTC, there is a chance for me because that number is still reasonable and somehow achievable for me.

What motivate me about bitcoin s first that t is a decentralized for of finance and coupled with the fact that it is not one of those pump and dump project we have been seeing, it makes it even unique.

This decentralized you mentioned is among of what motivate so many people’s to invest in the Bitcoin. Because it doesn’t control by anyone or government, and again the Bitcoin has become the biggest coin in all over the world that’s why everyone like the project. What really motivates me in bitcoin is the freedom it gives you, and having access to your funds any time you use it.Anything that is decentralized will always make you feel calm, and you won’t worry about the government thinking that they can control your coin. I fully agree with you that using Bitcoin requires a good or stable internet connection. However, you might have overlooked the fact that computing capability is also essential, and we still need a computer to use it; whether it is a mobile phone, laptop, desktop computer, or even a device; as simple as a Raspberry Pi. The bottom line is that both computing power and network connectivity are indispensable, and they complement each other to support the use of Bitcoin, and the system itself (an absolute foundation). Says who? Ofcourse Bitcoin can be use as a payment tool. Remember that Laszlo Hanyecz bought two pizzas with 10000 Bitcoins and I believe some malls in developed countries use Bitcoin as a payment option, I know about online malls but not very sure with physical ones in my locality. People consider Bitcoin more like an investment option cause it increases value with time and volatility makes it tough for small scale markets to use it as payment for their goods.

This what motivate me the most, I wasn't that big on P2P pre Bitcoin but was always big on being financially free since forever and I know it was only through investing in Bitcoin that could give me that which I wanted, and so far it seems to be going quite well. It was after joining the industry then I began noticing other things that could keep me being motivated and this added to my obsession. There are few other things that could interests me although they don't beat my conviction as being financially free and also being in charge of that freedom without having to worry about any unauthorize access to my finances.

This is the most undeniable truth about bitcoin. Bitcoin has said to be dead a lot of times, but here it is now, consistently growing its value and is even leading to its new bullish season. That is why I'm not surprised why bigger institutions are now eyeing to entrust their valuable amount of funds into bitcoin.  Bitcoin is highly unpredictable, but its high volatility does not stop us from investing on it, it even thrilled us to keep seeing a new all time high for bitcoin. The simple uniqueness of bitcoin motivated me to never stop buying and holding bitcoin.

I’ll be honest, for me, it’s mainly the price and the 21 million BTC limit.

If Bitcoin really works out in the future, it could mean that my daughter’s education, and maybe even part of her financial future, could come from the BTC investment I’m making regularly every month now. If not, no problem. I accepted the risk when I decided to invest in it anyway.

Am glad you said that you accepted the risk when you signed up for this investment, most people forgot about this part and approach it like a risk free kind of investment, all what they consider and think about is the potential benefits. No investment is risky free and of which Bitcoin investment is not an exception. There is this saying that it is more risky not to take risk and of course we know not all risk really worth taking but in case of Bitcoin I think it really does worth it.

Am just going to reply to the topic instead of using a reply of someone else to say what my motivation about Bitcoin is, because mine is clear and it is simply because of privacy. It lets me live a private life, even though it's not that private on the public ledger, but to my peers out there who are always snooping to know ones financial worth, It makes me feel secure to even show someone my fiat account balance and smile in my mind when the person thinks of me as broke or poor and indeed wants to help me make more money.

I jokingly told a friend one day who happened to see my account balance and was advising me on how running a business could be bad idea, I simply told him not all my money is on a balance sheet. He didn't know what I meant but since he's an accountant, he got into a quiet thinking state while I observed him because I think the statement I made, hit him hard. In my observation most of the newcomers in crypto space one of their idea is the bitcoin will become the life changer to them so they made an investment into it and wait for a long time well which is good if they manage to make bought at the bottom of the market from the previous cycle or let's say even the recent lows which is 58k, and let's say to sell from its previous highs so basically it double your investment. In my case the biggest strength of Bitcoin is the convenience of having full control over my own money.  Conventional banks or governments can block transactions on any account or freeze the account at will, which is not possible in the case of Bitcoin. For example during times of sudden economic downturns in the country, many banks set limits on customers withdrawals and it happens if the withdrew pressure increases but if you have your own private key, Bitcoin is always under the user's complete control, this true sovereignty of being able to use your own assets from anywhere without any third party interference is what keeps everyone going in the long run.

The fact that it is an emerging technology that has been a revolution in the economic field even though governments continue to discredit it use and misuse.

It is censorship resistant meaning nobody can stop you from using it against your will and it is decentralized meaning no specific body has control over it. Thus making it an easy and quick method to send money to someone anywhere in the world with a working internet and a device with power source.

I consider this to be something that can eventually become a force to be reckoned with (it already is) and hence I find investing in it safe and look at it for the long term.

Waking up this morning and I was asking myself what really motivates me about Bitcoin?

If I were asked the same question, I would say my motivation is primarily for the money, just like any other people, unless they are deceiving themselves.

Bitcoin was a hotcake, which was the reason for its prominence, and the hotcakeness has not stopped still, only that it's not like before. As I said, that's the "primary" reason. Meaning, many other reasons follows, which are not limited to the decentralisation characteristic, which allows privacy, and very importantly, the speed of Bitcoin transaction and its cross-border payment opportunities that keep disparities off among countries.

Still in the early phase of learning and understanding, but the best thing that motivates me is I have control of my funds, and I never need anything to transfer my funds to others who are not near me and need them. We are having enough economical independence, which is a basic right, but many are not allowing us to do this as we want.
Bitcoin is bigger than its current potential; more understanding and adoption will help many more to engage and have enough, which they deserve but are not able to do. These people do not have enough awareness, which is always important for them. Bitcoin could be going to be enough for everyone, saving, trading, and investing, with having use for many more things that are coming; it is just a matter of time.
Having good knowledge of how to handle this is also important because any mistake can cause a big problem.
