In his X, Benjamin Cowen noticed that the Bitcoin chart is currently looks like a Bart Simpson's hairstyle with its fluctuations. It turns out that in trading, this price behavior is a pattern, and suggests a downward reversal. Probably, the fluctuations show the exhausted strength of the bulls. The term about Bart's hair appeared back in 2015. For the first time since the August rally, I am hearing about a negative signal. In general, the Simpsons theme is often co-mentioned with BTC. These are predictions, and a series from season 11 about virtual reality where the price "BTC - $ infinity icon" appears on the stock exchange screen.

What a nice Discovery or an unprecedented occurrence, we can decided to check the market chart at any viewing point and decided to draw a similar scenario that interprets a particular thing with the market curve on the chart.
Well, this is so interesting and having something related to Bitcoin as it is being attached to the Simpson hairstyle theory could definitely pass some message across to some that are more inclined to more definitive interpretation of the Bitcoin market chart.

Lol, this is one of the most ridiculous speculations I've seen this year. I honestly don't know how he came up with this, but we shouldn't worry too much about things like this. The Simpsons has had some crazy coincidences over the years, but that doesn't mean every prediction people make from it is going to be true.People pay way too much attention to these kinds of speculations, and it only creates unnecessary FUD. August just ended on a bullish note, and now that we're in September, we're already looking for reasons to become bearish? We should pay more attention to price action and the actual factors driving the market. Bitcoin isn't going to create a new ATH in one day. It's a process, and several factors have to play out before we get there. There are more convincing reasons to be bullish or bearish, but using some random Simpsons speculation is just crap.

We should pay more attention to price action and the actual factors driving the market.
To be fair some traders are irrational and they see patterns when it doesn't exist sometimes. It's no limited to trader though, basically anyone can be faulty for this. Feeling unlucky because they wear read, somehow this create a self-fulfilling prophecy where accidents happens whenever they go out wearing read clothes. Just look at sports for example. You'll have so many weird stats that's popular even though logically they have no connection. So if "weird" prediction like this goes to a lot of people, maybe 10% of them will truly believe it and create some weird fulfilling prophecy.

Funny, the chart would match with anything if you find it. It doesn’t make sense that Bitcoin often will follow that hairstyle or anything. We may get just self-satisfaction from such a comparison, but nothing is real. Bitcoin is just moving its own way that should be based on investors' demand. I saw many analysts have compared the chart various ways according to their thoughts. But at the end of the day, Bitcoin always creates its own chart. So don't just jump to what others are saying; we should use our brain before taking action. I believe Bitcoin is preparing for another bull; just accumulate out of everything.

As shown here it is just a fictional story. For example if I consider the mountain then there are such highs and lows in the mountain and now if I combine the picture of such a mountain and say that the price of Bitcoin is going up and down along with nature then it will be completely ridiculous, just like this news. But there are many people or there are many new people who believe in this kind of news and they take trades based on this news and face losses. All this is completely unimaginable there is no truth to it

It turns out that in trading, this price behavior is a pattern, and suggests a downward reversal. Probably, the fluctuations show the exhausted strength of the bulls. The Simpsons are everywhere? We see them some times in connection with Bitcoin, mostly just for fun. I posted about the Simposons and bitcoin years ago, because a crypto business was featured in an episode back in 1996. That post is already 5 years old... oh wow. You can probably still find that episode somewhere, if anyone is interested, YouTube should help. The Simpsons Story1x printout: The Simpsons saw it coming in 19961x DVD Collectors Edition Season Eight There can you see in an episode from the eighth season, „My Sister, My Sitter“ the Crypto Barn The Simpsons has once again been found to predict the future. As if it needed any more kudos for trendsetting, The Simpsons has once again been found to predict the future. Video phones, robotic librarians, even horsemeat scandals have all been casually hinted at far ahead of their real-life appearances – and now, guess what has joined the canon of Simpsons predictions. In an episode from the eighth season, “My Sister, My Sitter,” first aired on 2 March 1997, the show neatly presents Homer and Marge on a date outside the ‘Crypto Barn’, outside of which a slogan casually states, “A place for codes.” While perhaps designed to be part of the neighborhood’s less illustrious infrastructure, selling spy equipment in addition to these generic ‘codes,’ its echoing of today’s cryptocurrency outlets is uncanny. In 2014, you can enter a physical brick-and-mortar establishment in many countries and procure physical codes such as Bitcoin scratch cards, just as you would have gone to cash a cheque seventeen long years ago. Interestingly, the Crypto Barn also features in an extension of the video game The Simpsons: Tapped Out, where users should rebuild Springfield following a small accident caused by Homer at the Nuclear Power Plant. Fittingly, the property is the most expensive available in the release, with a price tag of US$81,000. While it is now perhaps not such a quantum leap to imagine a crypto-themed episode in the near future, it remains to be seen what the show’s next haunting prediction will be. Its 26th season is currently in production and set to air in October, and it would seem prudent to watch this space.

I think that I have seen that infinite icon for Bitcoin somewhere. But knowing that it is Simpsons, it's a sarcastic approach of things. While it's said that they have prediction that have happened in reality, but not all can be said to occur. Anything that's shown there should be taken with a grain of salt and not as an indicator on how we foresee things and basis of our decision when we trade and invest. While it is entertaining, one should be mindful that they shouldn't rely what they do and even their beliefs on this show.

The chart Benjamin Cowen shared shows Bitcoin’s price over the past 6 months. A Simpson character was added at the end, and we can edit it too. It’s not a formalized theory. If you’ve ever watched how clouds form, you might imagine that the clouds you see resemble people, animals, or plants. With a Bitcoin price chart like this, if we insert an image, it might work—it doesn’t have to be a Simpsons image.

Lol, we even have what they call "Batman Pattern", https://x.com/TonySeverinoCMT/status/1768651982523298116And if others want to ask, if this is bullish or bearish? Nah, it's Batish. Kidding aside, this is a bullish reversal pattern. And there could be more patterns out there that can be attributed to a person or a fictional character. At the end of the day, for traders it might not mean anything but just a pattern that is forming and interpreted the way they wanted.

Maybe Spidey will show up on the chart too, or even Superman?. I just feel like people make these things up to fit their emotions at that particular point in the market.I've seen so many patterns repeat in the market, but trying to draw an image or symbol from them doesn't really make sense. I've even seen people draw cars and call them chart patterns. There are so many ridiculous ones.Price action doesn't work that way. Sometimes, people are simply seeing things that aren't really there. For me, I prefer using normal trend lines and candlestick patterns because these imaginary patterns only make things more confusing and complicated.

If the bart Simpson pattern is showing that the bulls are losing strength, does that mean we should expect a bigger drop soon, or can Bitcoin still recover from here? I do love to hear what more experienced traders think.

Cowen has my respect, he has been right too many times already in this market since 2023, I've been watching his charts and predictions very closely but this claim is bullshit, because anything can be used to replace that Zigzag like Simpsons hair.
Also take his advice with grain of salt, whatever he predicted isn't always final, the charts can go against anyone even if you are a professional, he could be wrong and he always said so too.
You do what you gotta to do, I will keep buying what I can regardless of what anyone is saying, no one is a king of chart, we can only take decisions when signals are available and flashing.

I think this not the first time the Simpson's has being related with many future event when taken into account the stories in some of their seasonal videos. If you Google it you would find a lot of those coincidence one of which has a cartoon character looking like Donald Trump as President of America years before he even became POTUS. I don't know how they got some of these speculations in their movies happening right after some years but I think some of them were a total coincidence. Coming to bitcoin, I wouldn't take it all that serious because patterns as we know are a thing in cryptocurrency that can be repeated over years.

And as per pattern, we've already seen the reversal already, so it has been validated as we have seen the price going down to $77k from as high as $80k. Although for us non technical person as far as analysis goes, it might not be as important.
But for others who look for the pattern and uses technical analysis for their trading, they might be looking for this one. And yeah, the pattern looks like the hair of Bart Simpsons that's why they name it after him.
I do agree though, that in the grand scheme of things, just go and buy and accumulate without looking at the pattern.

I would say that this is just a fun coincidence made by imagination. I've already seen some The Simpsons predictions related to crypto and Bitcoin. Even those other things outside crypto, and it's still fascinating. But I think this one, is just nothing but a mere coincidence. If you remove the character, you won't probably even see Bart on it cause it's not that fit and accurate so I wouldn't really take that seriously.
If we're gonna base the market's movement on things like that, then we probably would've been trying all sorts of images to fit in the pattern. And if you want to analyze the movement, much better to focus on factors that would or could affect it.

I wouldn't take this too seriously, because if we seriously consider this pattern to be automatic we should be ready to see Bitcoin drop to the $60k area. Lol For just entertainment and content on X this kind of thing makes sense because it will quickly attract engagement from the crypto community. Honestly, I really enjoy following The Simpsons conspiracy theories.

The chart doesn't even fit with the hairstyle which makes the whole point next to meaningless, plus it's natural for someone to see the resemblance of human features in nonhuman things, it might work as a joke but not as an actual prediction of events. I'm even tired of the whole Simpsons can predict the future stuff, if I made an animated series with enough episodes of popular people doing things then it's very likely that some of those things will need up happening in real life, it's not prediction, it's more of a lucky guess that ended up being true or close to true.

Some people are obsessed with the Simpsons as they believe the show can predict the future. So I’m not surprised that someone could come up with this idea that Bart hairstyle is synonymous to the current bitcoin trend, as far as I am concerned, this is just a post to ragebait traders on X.

Tired of The Simpsons images? Draw an Iron Man image instead—since someone’s already done a Batman graphic. It’s more important to pay attention to the factors driving market price fluctuations than to focus on whether the chart shared by Benjamin Cowen resembles The Simpsons—which would draw a red line down the Simpsons’ bodies to confirm that the prediction, as animated by The Simpsons, is correct. During the last World Cup, a Simpsons prediction about the final match also went viral, but it turned out to be wrong; Spain ended up winning the trophy.
