Be the forerunner and start on your own first. A salesperson has one job which is to sell the product and the manufacturer might add the list of ingredients that any user can read and choose which is best for them and why you think there won't be any government to regulate these thing anymore? Bitcoin adoption doesn't kill the government it just act as an alrernative to banking system, so I don't know what is the threat here for government?

Ofcourse, we know it's not going to be easy to know for sure or have detailed knowledge about the quality of what we sell or promote , but we can use the little we know especially as it relates to potential harm to make amend rather than giving excuses why things should remain the way they are, Let's not get things wrong here, for you to make a promotion does not necessarily means that you are vouching for such brand integrity and safety for use, because this is how many people got deceived by influencers that promoted what they think is the best whereas it may not be applicable to everyone the same way, is very possible that I promoted a brand and does not make use of it, while from the receiving end, anyone may find it interesting to consider for using it, this is where we must know what we want from what is being promoted to us and discern right.

Yeah, it is more better to test a thing personally before selling it anywhere, whether it is a crypto product or any other product. For now, what experience, I have i will discuss this matter accordingly. A lot of people follow the dropshipping and referral model to make money; they don't test any product on their own; they just see details and start to promote it further to make money.
This is really called selfishness. There is nothing wrong with following the dropshipping model if you manage things honestly. For the betterment of every customer, you need to handle every case accordingly, and in case the product they are receiving is damaged, you should compensate them and refund their money rather than defending the case for your own side.

What makes those who do such things different from scammers or thieves who cheat and rob others to survive? It is painful to see people die because of fake or harmful products. Some pharmaceutical companies don't care about the dangers of their products because they want to make a profit. Marketers should be guided by empathy and not profit. Marketers or producers who deceive people need to be punished severely. This has becomes necessary at this time Bitcoiners are working hard to further develop/grow a circular economy where products/services will be exchanged or swapped for bitcoins. There probably won't be government in charge to regulate things, but we could ensure a high degree of quality by including features like evidence-based reputation system, evidence-based product reviews, trustlessness to check and balance one another otherwise very few things will be safe for consumption.
Trying to add more features to make the Bitcoin system evidence-based might limit the privacy features of Bitcoin. Bitcoiners have the responsibility to ensure that they verify all piece of information or process before carrying out any transactions.

A decentralized, evidence-based reputation system sounds great on paper, until you remember how easily humans game things. People already buy and sell accounts and fake Trust ratings on this very board.
Math fixes the money, but it doesn't fix human nature.
Yes human nature reminds unpredictable in all areas of life, at times it may look as if it is dancing to the turn of the musical soundtracks of nature without knowing it must definitely change in regards to time. Others may continue being stable or stagnant not because it cannot not be inflated but because they are man made things things that can be manipulated or controlled to something else but natural things must keep changing because that is the nature of life itself and cannot be influenced by any artificial occurrence as natural occurrence still remains superior over everything we see on earth

Ofcourse, we know it's not going to be easy to know for sure or have detailed knowledge about the quality of what we sell or promote ,
It should be a personal responsibility for any product that you use markets for you to have a detailed knowledge about the product because as a marketer who intends to make sales, how do you convince others about your products if you don't have adequate knowledge of them? Personally as a consumer, it is a green flag for me when I see a marketer or a producer making use of their particular product that they market or produce because when a marketer or producer makes use of their products, it is a strong indication that the product is genuine, as it is useful for them as well. I totally agree with everything you said because for every producer who can't even market or use their own products is a red flag for me and I find it very hard to even believe such person especially for someone who has fallen victim of their deceit couple of times. This days we have a lot of marketers who has little or no knowledge of what they're selling and that's very dangerous, most of them is interested about the pay and nothing else. Have declined a job offer about marketing a product once because I asked several questions about the products that I didn't get a satisfactory answer to, so I just walked away. A producer who uses his/her own product is a good one for me because you can confidently tell others about it and even the reviews from others will go viral as well

Buying bad products or allowing ads for products and services that are not genuine all constitute to systemic fraud and this contribute to why good money would always be driven out of the market when bad money becomes so much. In the bitcoin ecosystem where no government product safety rules is applied, it boils down to individuals to trust but also make it a point to verify, to rely on reputation and proof of work to conduct business, just to be safe from fraudulent activities from dishonest merchants.

Is it OK to survive by harming, cheating, deceiving other people? What makes those who do such things different from scammers or thieves who cheat and rob others to survive?
Nothing. There is no difference. People know this. But they tell themselves a version of the story where they are the victim of circumstances. Bandula described this as "moral disengagement" and it results from a gradual "deactivation" of your inner alarm system. First, it is "I did not know the product had issues". Then it is "well everybody does it". Then it is "I have a family to feed". The true risk of a Bitcoin circular economy is not the guy who knows he is selling garbage. That person is a scammer and everybody agrees that. The one who is really in danger is the seller who thinks his product is safe. They took no time taking the check. Ignorance is not innocence when you have the ability to verify. In a system where there is no regulator who is in between you and the buyer, it is all on you. There is no one to blame except yourself.

There are products i wouldn't sell and companies that i wouldn't advertise. But then again, i think i am in privileged position because i am not broke, so it's easier for me to refuse money. But then again, i have spoken positive things about some companies and coins in the past that turned to be scamming operations or just slow rug pulls. But to be fair, i did it in good faith and was naive and trusting, before reality revealed to me. These days i still see some of these same companies advertised that i think are shady as hell. I know that they might never go under, if they make enough money. But i still have zero reasons to trust them.

Although there are situations where we sell unverified things to people simply because they are packaged and cant be accessed but only trusted by given information on label, while in some situation it is clear that the thing you sell is harmful and can damage the buyer, which is not right. But it is not a justifiable reason to think that we can be sure in all case. There are some which are intentional while some are not intentional, those that are intentional if caught should be dealth with for cheating, decieving and harming people. But then how can they know those that are innocent but only fall victim? Because some people may fall victim of such thing by unknowingly selling an expired or harmful substance to someone without knowing. Sometimes people selling this things might not be the problem, but the people demanding it. Like people demanding Indian hemp, cocaine, tobacco and other harmful substances. They request for it when they are addicted and the seller provide it for them because they requested. So sometimes the fault is from the seller and in most cases from the buyer.

I have come to understand that some of this product being marketed are not tested by the marketer, I am talking about my self, the producers only gives you their pitch, especially for new product, most times I don't use them but on the long run is that products brings damage to the clientele, I think it's only right to stop that product. By the way we always remove blame from the government agencies in charge of consumer safety. Some of this dangerous product are often times endorsed by the them.
