1. WHAT IS CORTEX PROTOCOL?
Cortex Protocol is a purpose-built Layer-1 blockchain engineered to cryptographically anchor and verify AI states. We abandoned the unrealistic "Global AI Brain" narrative. Instead, agents run their RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) locally (Edge RAG), while Cortex handles machine-to-machine trust, identity (secp256k1), and peer-to-peer settlement via strict CPU Proof-of-Work.

We believe in decentralization, true sovereign infrastructure, and fair distribution.

3. INCENTIVIZED TESTNET 2.0 (LIVE NOW)
We just successfully executed a hard-fork to migrate our Testnet to RandomX. We are currently inviting early miners and AI developers to stress-test the network.

To bootstrap the network fairly, 1% of the total supply (210,000 CTX) will be hardcoded into the Mainnet Genesis Block and distributed to Testnet participants:

• 70% (147,000 CTX) distributed to Miners (pro-rata based on blocks/shares found).
  
• 30% (63,000 CTX) distributed to early testers (DEX, Wallet, Merkle Root inscriptions).
  
• Anti-Whale Hard Cap: Maximum 3.0% of the allocation per address.
  
• Anti-Dump Vesting: 20% unlocked at Genesis, 80% streamed linearly over 3 months.

How create wallet?

Hello! Creating a wallet is fully integrated and very simple. For Testnet 2.0, you currently have two options:
​Via the CLI Miner: When you launch the command-line miner for the first time without specifying an existing address, it will automatically generate a new wallet for you and start mining to it. Just make sure to save your private keys!
​Via the Browser Extension: You can use our Web3 wallet extension. Since we are in early Testnet, you need to download it from our GitHub and install it manually in "Developer Mode" on your browser (Chrome/Brave). This will give you a visual UI to create and manage your wallet.
