Kurt Cobain: an icon of alienation

http://www.theguardian.com/music/from-the-archive-blog/2014/apr/05/kurt-cobain-an-icon-of-alienation

<< In the days after Cobain's death on 5 April 1994, Jonathan Freedland reported from Seattle for the Guardian's Weekend magazine, charting the troubled life of a reluctant rock star. On the 20th anniversary of Cobain's suicide, we republish the piece. >>

Nah he would look worse than that because of the drugs and drinking.

You or anybody else won't know what he looks like; better or worse. How do you know he would've continued drugs and drink?

He killed himself due to deep emotional problems....if he didn't commit suicide that day no doubt he would be on a long winding road of mental issues and drinking/drug abuse to this day or just prolonged suicide for another date.  His wife was no support she is/was a crackhead.
but like you pointed out anything is possible.

Or he could've got better like many people do. Quite the assumptions your making.

He was a talented writer and artist.. he had a great ear for crafting pop inside of chaos. As a person though I don't respect anyone that chooses to abuse drugs and kills himself leaving a young daughter. He made a bad choice... so musically I enjoy him... personally I resent his glorification based upon the fact that he chose to check out....
