HippoxOS is an LLM-native operating system that allows you to control your computer using natural language.

The initial release will be launched between September 10 and 15

It currently supports 6 core subsystems:

1. Universal Conversational Control

Directly control all system operations using natural language. From launching applications, managing files, and adjusting system settings to executing cross-app task workflows, everything is driven by conversation—eliminating the need for mouse clicks or keyboard shortcuts.

2. Video Editing

Powered by a proprietary NLE (non-linear editing) engine, it supports multi-track editing, linear animations, 26 professional transitions, 15 filters, 78 visual effects (VFX), and 15 camera movement effects. The entire workflow—from editing to export—is driven by conversation.

3. 3D Scene Generation

Generate 3D scenes in real-time using natural language descriptions. It supports object manipulation, scene iteration, and reverting to historical snapshots, as well as one-click GIF export—all without requiring expertise in 3D modeling software.

4. AI-Assisted Code Development

Generate, refactor, and debug code through conversation. All AI-proposed changes are displayed in a side-by-side view with line-by-line highlighting of additions, deletions, and modifications; changes take effect only after user confirmation, ensuring developers maintain full control over the codebase.

5. Financial Data Analysis

A conversational intelligent analysis platform for financial data, supporting real-time market data queries and technical indicator calculations (MA, EMA, MACD, RSI, Bollinger Bands, etc.) across multiple markets, including stocks and cryptocurrencies. Users can conduct historical backtesting and strategy validation through natural language interaction, while the system automatically generates interactive candlestick charts and technical visualizations.

6. Geospatial Analysis

Perform spatial data visualization tasks—such as location marking, route planning, and heatmap or clustering analysis—on a map through conversation, transforming complex geospatial analysis into intuitive, interactive dialogues.

Philosophy:

HippoxOS adopts natural language as its primary user interface, eliminating the need to master complex operations in specialized software; users simply describe the task they wish to accomplish in everyday language, and the system understands their intent and executes it automatically.

Whether it involves video editing, 3D modeling, coding, financial analysis, or geospatial data processing, HippoxOS deeply integrates these capabilities into a conversational framework, lowering the barrier to using professional-grade tools to the point where anyone who can speak can use them.

It supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, and is freely available for use and auditing by individual developers, teams, and enterprises alike. Driven by the community, the project welcomes participation from everyone.

You don’t need to be a video editor, 3D modeler, or programmer—you simply need to know the result you want, and HippoxOS handles the rest.

In Closing

We have issued a token to incentivize the community's technological development and to build a sustainable economic ecosystem within the system. We are well aware that the crypto landscape is rife with short-lived projects that last mere hours. However, we ask the community to give us a chance: an increase in the token's valuation will help us attract more talented open-source developers, enabling us to drive this ecosystem forward together.
