If that is what you mean, you are very wrong. Paying attention to what is going in the world does not mean your wealth will be affected.

Owning wealth means identifying and solving problems within a society, country or the entire world and to identify a problem will require active involvement in world news. The rich are more interested in happenings around them and the try to see how they can solve those problems which in turn generates more wealth for them. We are in the world and for us to succeed we have to use elements, news, happenings and resources in the world to our advantage which in-turn will mean been actively involved with world news and happenings so it is impossible to neglect our surroundings in a pursuit for wealth.

It's not the best option, but I don't want to watch propaganda either. There are no independent media in my country. I do this too because there are some things that are beyond what you can control. In my country, we are dealing with a lot of things right now, we have big challenge of insecurities, we are dealing with inflation, we have no good health facilities to combat the current state of health challenges and people have complained very much and no changes, what do you expect people to do at this stage? We are used to it and we can't do anything until next election.

You know what's difficult about the next election, the people may not be able to decide what's going to be the outcome of next election because the process is harder. There are people that will be bribe to change their mind on or before election by brining them, they make it harder choice for people to make their decision, this is why everything about the election is never transparent. All these makes people to concentrate on how to better their life than focus on government.

I totally get what you're saying OP but I believe there's a balance to it.  One thing is for sure that we don't have to take every news report or get too involved in every issue but it can also have a negative effect if we are not aware of what is going on around us. Yeah it's true that some things happening around the world may not really be relevant now, but some news can really have some impact jobs, prices of things, investments, or probably affect our daily life later on.

For me, i'm very picky when it comes to things that I actually pay attention to. I use most of my free time to learn something of great value, rather than spending hours reading a lot of negative news happening around world, and please don't get me wrong this is not about me ignoring the world, but it's a matter of not letting the world take up all of my time.

Elections in my country are a sham; they would be better described as a circus act. In my case, for instance, they are taking place from the 18th to the 20th of this month. And you know what? I already know the outcome. How? The figures will definitely be rigged. This has been happening for years. Nothing will change without mass protests and a bloody revolution.

I understand what you mean you OP, you encourage everyone to be more focused on making more money by respecting their time more, but on the other hand it does not mean that they should ignore various news also because there is always some useful news whether it is useful for safety such as disaster news that will remind you to be more vigilant or, or anything else related to opportunity.

I think people focus too much on how to make money and totally forget that the circumstances surrounding their environment plays a vital role towards their success in business or investment. There’s need to be aware of the happenings within the environment so as to be prepared before time. There could be crisis going on and most people wouldn’t know and meanwhile businesses doesn’t flourish in a place hits by crisis. That aside, as investors there are news we certainly don’t have to pay attention especially when it come to market speculations because if we continue paying attention to market speculations we might not be able to achieve our long term success in investment, rather than following most market speculations it’s better to channel that energy into getting a discretionary income to use and accumulate bitcoin regularly and hold for long term gains.

Sometimes they are aware too but it is just that they are only overwhelmed, especially if what they do is already taxing. Anyways, as long as they are doing well with it, they can focus on it than trying to add more and affect the other in a negative way. That mindset of switching off from all this noise in the media space is a realistic one to have in this modern era. A lot of serious minded people out there are mostly stressed to their bones for giving some of their attention to the constant bad news and worthless stories that has no real impact in their lives, so do yourself justice by switching off the TV and channeling that attention to yourself and your family is a classic move and it gives you peace on mind and a simple life.

We can’t avoid negative news always, they are part of us because negative things do happen, so just as you said, we need to focus on the positive news to get the right mindset towards positive thinking and making positive thoughts that will change ourselves for good. Time is important no doubt, the topic seems is like an attack to the politicians, news sector etc. Pointing irrelevant aspect people pay much attention to and don’t get a reward in return, still how sure these people don’t benefit from it? This got me thinking about the part of my journey when I starting going inward into solitude, thinking about how to straighten my life, things got upside down and the journey felt blurry. At that alone time, what I heard within myself was - business time, business period, business season.

What does that mean; the voice was telling me that whatever, whoever, whenever I give my attention to, should go strictly for business, it's high time I stopped giving my attention for free to what doesn't nourish me anymore, I started treating every encounter as business, until then I have my life in order and who comes around me subconsciously know it's for business.

I disagree with you here. Because when you reach this level of thinking, then you must know that you are living your life as a selfish person. What would you like to say about whatever big powers, political leaders, and rich people are doing in the world right now? Isn't that our concern? What is being done in Palestine, Gaza, and Ukraine isn't our concern? They are murdering civil humans where they have done nothing wrong, and this is genocide. And the way they are doing this, we should consider that the murder of one human is like the murder of whole humanity.

Political leaders pass commands that are executed to murder innocent civilians, and big money is funding these leaders to make more weapons.
