Technology and specifically the internet, through which we are mandated to give out our personal details so that we can be enabled to access public platforms, if you don't provide KYC or give access to intrude into your privacy you won't be allowed to gain access, this is where we are now involuntarily giving out our details for the sake of accessibilities. Beyond giving out your personal details by yourself CCTV cameras and something like these LG tv prying into people's privacy without authorization is another problem which means that privacy is gradually going to extinct because we're being monitored without our concents.

On the bright side about these intrusion of privacies is that it helps to identify criminals easily, when a crime is committed everybody at the scenes are identified and investigation can easily commence from their, suspects movements, transactions and where they visited can be clearly seen. Problem is that bad guys can also see what the good guys can see so if criminals and your enemies wants to trace you or steal from you they can also monitor you if they have access to do so.

Content creating and the money they make from it has now caused a lot of people to lose their privacy. I usually don’t like when I see invasion of privacy in the name of content creating, it is very bad people should learn to stop invading peoples privacy all in the name of content creating or any other thing they are doing.

Invasion of privacy or collection of data for personalised content, which depends on where you live.

Some countries take privacy very seriously but unfortunately, where I am living it is not and the lacks also not clear when it comes to user data collection, so big brands manage to do all kind of shady activity while the same brand respect the user's privacy in different country.

It is a common practice to read and understand the manual of electronic appliances. Some people are also careless and don't care to read this important document. Going the extra mile to check if the appliance could be used to secretly collect data from users is what most people will not do.

The government has so many regulatory bodies that should assist the public in evaluating these products. This is my view because most users don't have the skills. As you said, we shouldn't expect much from a corrupt government. Maybe reading reviews and following platforms like Gamers Nexus on social media will be helpful.

I don't know how surprising people are starting to be when they heard about this news. This is not the first time this is happening and all most all our gadgets have this technology but we have been ignorant about them for years untill we heard about a case with LG. All our phones are being used to carry out the purposes.

 There are so many apps we are using that are extracting our information for their own benefits especially apps like Google, Facebook, X, and others without taking our full consent. Different companies are still extracting our information till today and still there is nothing we can do about it and the government have given them the consent.
