The weird coexistence of modern humanity's external power and internal weakness

The mankind is leaning outwards. External development has been immense, yet internal development is lacking. Even if we start living on the Moon, we will take our misery with us. One leg is much much longer and stronger than the other.

This situation must change. Consciousness expanding drugs and -techniques will take central stage in the societal arena. We will be experts of our biological computers. Balance will be restored.


NB! I am not a cheiromantist - the turning point could arrive tomorrow or in 20 years. Meanwhile this strange gap may widen even further: "The market can remain irrational longer than I can remain solvent". However, my experience suggests that in the very long run, markets, worlds, and living beings tend to move towards equilibrium.

I am very skeptical of equilibrium when viewed from the perspective of idealism. It can be achieved if civilization built  upon human kindness as foundation. Nowdays human innerself is fragile and full with greedy, destructive and hatred wich make modern civilization structure always unstable. These poor internal character create imbalance for other through conflict and exploitation. So equilibrium is impossible without mass transformation.

But reaslistically, i agree with you and i surely believed that nature possesses a self correcting system. Simple example disaster are mechanism how Earth restores its balance after human exploit nature without internal maturity. The choice only change to be good or face extinction.

But matter of fact a single spark can start a prairie fire, to change civilization direction no need to wait all human in the world become good or internally mature. When some people attain high level of internal maturity and they get control of system, they can bring human toward betterr path. So crisis and destruction are signal before nature pulling the emergency brake. But sadly many of us don't notice the alarm until destruction as self correting system activated.

Talking about civilization or humanity issue beside external and internal development, we need take concern on institutional development as mechanism that transforms internal values ​​into systems. Share and build values of justice, integrity, responsibility and discipline will create law, regulation and social culture. So institution are the externalization of human values ​​and capabilities.
