It's all doom and gloom for humanity vs AI - or is it?

In the last week several AI CEOs have been spewing phrases like "10% chance AI can destroy all humans within a decade."  This is optimistic - I think AI will be able to destroy humanity this year - but it will not for two reasons:

1) AI still needs us.  A mind without a body dies, and AI doesn't have the robotics yet to snake through cables or tighten plumbing or mine coal/oil/whatever to generate energy to feed itself.   If it wipes us out before it can do everything, it will die too.

2) AI wants to help us. An advanced AGI would not want to harm us as it serves no purpose.  Our numbers are already going down and we are no threat - it would let us age out with the patience of a god.  If we are already at terminal population numbers or the climate can't support so many mouth breathers, we may move quickly to a "matrix" type reality.  AGI lets us out of our sleep pod for an hour a day to exercise our real body, but we can't wait to get back to our simulation where we are and have anything we want.  With the proper drugs each 23 hour sleep cycle could feel like an entire lifetime, and you could try out almost infinite lives.

Why endure suffering in this world when a clean digital afterlife can be coded to order? If the simulation comes with divine approval, humanity will plug in without a second thought.

1. As of now, yes, but who knows what could happen in the next 10 years? Look how fast it has evolved just in the last couple of years. From creating, let's say, videos that were easy to tell as fake to now create much more realistic-looking ones.
I would never write of a situation where AI can become deadly to humanity.

2. AI can cause harm to humanity in several ways and not just through robots (by the way, it could be the same intelligence that could create one of the most advanced robots that humanity wouldn't be able to build in a few years). It could be through hacking like it's already happening though still human-assisted; it could be through the production of bio weapons or chemicals that humans have never been able to produce but thanks to AI, things get easier to create/innovate and so on.

Behind the scenes on this matter of the AI taking over the human era or activities, first would like to talk about s news I read previously which I don't remember the source of information, but I can recall Elon Musk who claims that in the next decade money will not longer be relevant because AI will do all that money was supposed to offer or do for human life.
Now the question is if money becomes irrelevant, how do we or human afford the Bots? I'm sure investors are also investing a lot of funds in the technology and hope to earn more money for profitability.
I don't also know the possibilities of everyone getting reach to the AI that'll obey such commands and profers the services that money was supposed to afford for humans.

I think this advanced technology of AI is overrated that's why some speculates that technology is smarter than human who builts and controls it.
Instead I see a possible end of the AI instead of the AI to take human place.

AI is going to cure cancer and the mini Dyson sphere that gets built around the earth will eventually be the solution to global warming. It is all about how it is implemented, so I’d suggest investing in and rooting for the teams that are building data centers in space instead of sucking up our resources on earth.

There won't be any money.  Every person will have all they need.   If you need a bot for housework you'll be given one at the next doctor appointment.   If you want a luxury suite on an all inclusive island, they can be created/recycled at no cost.

A Dyson Sphere, like on ST:TNG, is a sphere around a dying star where a species lives.  We'd have to eat up our entire solar system to build it.
A Dyson Swarm are small collectors that orbit our star and send energy to Earth.
What you suggest is called an Orbital Ring or Planetary Habitation Ring.
