Bitcoin - is the bear market bottom in?

Is $58.5k we fell to early July the bottom for this bear market or do we have 1 leg lower?

We are nearly half way through September and I now feel the bottom is in as cant see how Bitcoin falls nearly $20k now to new lows from the current $77k unless something really bad happens next few weeks.

I do feel though that was can go back to the $65k range again to see a higher low and I'm actually hoping for that again to buy cheap one last time before bull run is here for next few years.

How are we all feeling? Is the bottom in or not?

There is still a possibility that we will see levels below $58.5k, and $45,000 may be the lowest level, but since the price is holding above $75,000, this possibility is unlikely. So, unless something bad happens, $58.5k is the bottom, or at least close to the bottom, and there is a high probability that we will not fall below $45,000.

I do feel though that was can go back to the $65k range again to see a higher low and I'm actually hoping for that again to buy cheap one last time before bull run is here for next few years.

It is still very possible that bitcoin will fall below $70000 again, but it is better you do not wait but you can DCA instead of waiting. I do not think bitcoin is going below $60000 anymore, but anything is possible. If bitcoin can go to such a price again, it will be a good opportunity for lump sum, but DCA will be better.

Well all I can say is that you have havent been around the Bitcoin market for a long enough period.

Drops ^{and rises} have happened many times previously, and there is an argument that this
current market is somewhat less volatile that previous cycles.

Personally I am of the opinion that either a drop is yet to happen before the market starts to leave
the Bear season behind and/or the market has not hit its bottom with $58k.

It has been noted a few times that end of September and into October is when "the market turns"
so to speak.

No one can give you the full confidence to the exact market condition or what to come in the nearest future except by this speculation we made, and there is no assurance of using it the same way it was being presented to you, everyone may try to research on their own and use the indicators to speculate over the market, once they arrive at positive results, then they work on it, but with the way I'm seeing the market going, we are most likely to experience another correction soon before we exited the bear market season.

Don't be too quick to judge the situation, the market is still in a two-way range. That is, there is still a possibility that we could enter a bear market again and that would be the lowest level.

Or maybe we have already passed the lowest level of the bear market.
After $58k, I expected lower levels and still do. Even if the market touches $80k, I think we will go down again and have an opportunity to buy at low prices. But that downtrend doesn't seem to be happening or going very deep.

The indicators are suggesting bull run but investors and long term traders know that it can be deceiving. The indicators right now can not be used to know if the market will draw a little bit down again or the market will continue to go up but the trading volume has reduced and the market has cooled down a little bit which may suggest a further downward price movements but still this may not be right.

Been around Bitcoin few years now. I know it can fall pretty quickly, but those who still thinking we are in 4 year cycle said we will bottom by mid October, thats only 4 weeks now.

What is going to make Bitcoin crash by $20k in just 4 weeks now?

Based on my analysis, Bitcoin has already bottomed out, I really doubt that price will go below $58l which is the lowest price of this year, if price is going to do some normal correction, I'd expect it to not go below $60k because around that area is a major support level which price is supposed to respect, if price is going to break below that level, then it might not dip below $50k and such price movement might actually be caused by some serious bad event that probably will cause panic sell.
If actually price was supposed to get to $40k as some persons thought it would, then it would have happened in just when the market was going down so bad.

I was a bit surprised by the increase in the price of Bitcoin in August and I believe this happened to all investors. But I see it as normal because Bitcoin is volatile. Now no possibility can be ruled out because it is not possible to say anything exactly about Bitcoin. So it is not surprising if the price does not fall. However, I believe that the price will fall again and a new bottom can be set.

Someone above said and I will also say that keep buying with DCA strategy. But if the price drops a lot then buying with a larger amount of money, this may be the best strategy.

By looking at the weekly and monthly price movement on the chart, it's near impossible that Bitcoin will still touch down to such level in few days or weeks, because the upward momentum have already build up strongly, and in no distance time, we might get back to $100k level.

So even though in the market anything can happen, because we live in a world full of possibilities, but with all signals and indications in the market, it's crystal clear that Bitcoin will never go back 20k level again, unless the impossible happens, so I did expect the market to go above it current price back to $100k than coming back to $20k.

We will never know if that was the bottom and if you aspire to see bitcoin fall into $20k, I won't say it is impossible but it is very unlikely based on its price today. My feeling right now is totally okay and as long as it keeps up more than $75k then I think that we're in a better situation. But if it falls down to $50kish, can we do anything against it? There's nothing we can do if it pulls back to that range but, I'll take that time to continue what I've used to do and I'll continue buying if goes back to that price. If I were you, I won't be too worried with however it will be for this year.

My feeling right now is totally okay and as long as it keeps up more than $75k then I think that we're in a better situation. But if it falls down to $50kish, can we do anything against it? As always, anything can happen in this market. So we should always have a backup plan. Do not let your guard down just because Bitcoin has reached a certain price and assume bear market is over or that it will never drop back to that level or lower again...

No one can tell if $58.5k price is the bottom or not but for now that's the lowest so far that we have seen in this bear market. I hope that you are not just folding your bands watching the market and waiting clueless for the price of bitcoin to dip back to $65k+ before you buy.

You should start buying if you are not because there is no guarantee that the price of bitcoin will dip back to $65k. This is why you are always advised to use DCA when accumulating bitcoin because waiting for the dip is like a waste of time for a no coiner and low coiner. You can be DCAing and still reserve funds to buy at the dip when it comes.

We're near to the last quarter of this year and there can be a lot of things on October. No idea still, but all speculation, and we're looking forward to the dip already being touched.

Being in between will not hurt us if ever the dip that we've seen wasn't the actual bottom that we thought of. But it's not going to hurt us if we hope that it's finally over and we're moving towards the next phase of the cycle after bear market.

I believe the price is facing strong resistance in the $82,000 zone, causing it to drop to the $76,000 support level. If the $76,000 support breaks, we will see it hit $69,000, though I doubt it will fall below $60,000; it would likely drop to $69,000 at most before recovering and continuing its rise toward $86,000. It might remain in that $69,000 to $86,000 range for several months before a rally pushes it past $100,000. In any case, I’m not really worried about a price drop if it happens, I see it as a good opportunity to buy and profit when the price surges later.

It’s very much possible for Bitcoin to even go below $40k , for now $53k range is acting as a strong support. $58k range also acting as support too , well is two ways if we are able to beat $98k range , price is going to push up further but if we go below $57k range , there’s higher chances that price may push down lower  toward the $53k support range , which actually Is a strong one breaking will take us down further to the range of $40k . But either as a long term investor , is still going to be profitable for us Aslong we keep accumulating weekly or monthly.

Volatility is always have love affair with bitcoin because they are in from first day of Bitcoin operation so its never been issue but rumors and few other things always have deep impact on its price and movement because its related to things which are also facing challenges geopolitics is also important part of bitcoin price movement.

Recently significant increase bring good positivity but its also bringing fear of going down as well because conflicts are still at peak and peoples are not sure about how things are going to be have better way for them economies are suffering and stock exchanges are also having not good movement but Bitcoin is surely going to be stay on its base which is currently looking good few events are coming these will be have good impact on price and this could be also important before entering into 2027.
