First of all, thank you very much for your comments and especially to @slowdeath for having done such good research.
Something I need to be very clear, my project is not a casino yet, I am raising the money to get the casino license, that is why it does not have the games that you are used to. More or less you could say that I am in the startup phase, and when I have the license there will be all the games that you usually play.
Looks like you operate exclusively on altcoins; polygon, usdc and eth. This section is for bitcoin related projects only. You can accept altcoins but bitcoin needs to be one of the currencies for deposit and payout.
You will see an option to move topic at the bottom left. Altcoin announcement board will be a better for your thread.
Thanks. I checked the Altcoin announcement board rules and they say
Exchanges, shops, gambling sites, etc, should make a thread in the Marketplace section of Alt Currencies.
So I think that's a better place, right? Just want to be sure before moving it there
one thing im curious about is what happens if a prize draw never sells out. do the entries just stay active indefinitely or is there a point where users get refunded?
Yes. It can be refunded if the community asks to cancel the draw, you'll receive 95% of what you paid and I keep 5% to pay for smart contract and transaction fees. Just keep in mind that the draw can only be canceled if less than 80% of the NFTs have been sold.
It is an unlicensed casino that seemingly requires KYC based on what I read in point 6, section B of the Terms of Service
This is the information we ask from you and why:
- Linked Address: this is asked to all the people that want to play because we need to track your activity to give you contest points, loyalty points, gems, etc.
- Phone Verification: for the referral program and the fortune club shop to prevent abuse.
- KYC: only for people that want to get a postal entry, because we need to verify that the person sending the letter is over 18.
So, yeah we do ask KYC but only for people that want to do the postal entry route, that's why it is optional, not required, it exists for people who can't or don't want to use the on-chain method. People that want to play normally just need to link their address and all the prizes are sent there. And right now we don't answer to a regulator because we're not licensed yet, that's the gap I'm working to close.
Another point concerns support contact I didn't see an option to contact support.
At the bottom of all our terms and conditions pages, you’ll find our support email address you can use to contact us, and in the footer, you’ll find links to all our socials where you can also reach out to us.
And regarding the tweet from April 19, 2024: you were promising prizes ranging from $100 to $50,000 two years ago, yet here you are two years later still struggling with a lack of customers and a very low budget. That means your casino has been a failure during the two years it has been operating. Isn't it time to change your casino's model and switch to one like that of other casinos, such as Stake?
Yeah that's the goal, to get money to get a casino license and offer other games like the other casinos do, but always focused on the community
You will need more fast paced games. Attracting players is not going to be easy either.
Yes, I get it. That's why I made Fortune Snake that has a new round each week. Maybe in the future once we get like 50 regular players we could make 1 round each day. Would that be fast enough?
2 years? I don't see why it took you that long to come up with such a basic site without any proper licensing etc op. Am not saying that you are lying or anything, but the site itself doesn't seem professional and doesn't really command attention.
Yes that's the time it took me to build the smart contracts, and the website. Keep in mind that it was a very basic project, people were just able to buy the draw NFTs, but later I realized that I needed a way to contact them, so I had to create an entire login system, and then the ideas kept coming and that's how I ended up with the contests, the referral program, the loyalty program, etc. But of course since I'm the only one doing everything it takes time for me to code, test, and launch things
This concept is an old school concept on which casino usually have a lot of waiting on each round since there’s nothing much available games that time aside from crash and dice game.
The website design too is very outdated. That’s the design of old casino which doesn’t contain good UI/UX.
On final note, It’s hard to trust casino that looks like no effort done to build.
Thanks for the feedback, once we get the money we'll improve all that
