I put together the numbers behind Stake's VIP ladder because most write-ups list the perks and skip the cost. Everything below comes from Stake's own terms, help centre and VIP pages as of 11 September 2026. Corrections welcome.

The thresholds (lifetime wagering, USD)
Bronze 10k, Silver 50k, Gold 100k, Platinum I 250k, II 500k, III 1M, IV 2.5M (VIP host), V 5M, VI 10M, Diamond I to V 25M to 500M, Obsidian 1B.

Three rules that matter: it is wagering not deposits ($100 bet ten times = $1,000 of progress); sportsbook wagers count 3x toward progress; and the game does not change your progress, only your cost.

Expected cost of each level = wagering x house edge
Originals (1%) vs slots at 96% RTP (4%):
Bronze: $100 vs $400
Silver: $500 vs $2,000
Gold: $1,000 vs $4,000
Platinum I: $2,500 vs $10,000
Platinum III: $10,000 vs $40,000
Platinum IV: $25,000 vs $100,000
Diamond I: $250,000 vs $1,000,000

Live blackjack played to basic strategy sits around 0.5 to 0.6%, so roughly 60% of the Originals figure. The same level costs about four times more through slots than through 1% Originals.

Rakeback: the only reward with a published formula
wager x house edge x 3.5%, credited per bet, win or lose, claimable from the VIP page any time. $1,000 through a 1% Original returns $0.35; through a 4% slot $1.40. It starts at Bronze, or from the first bet if an affiliate enables it via support.

Level-up bonuses
Not published. Player-reported figures this year: about $15 at Silver, $50 at Gold, $100 at Platinum I, $200 at Platinum II, $500 at Platinum III, $800 at Platinum IV. Set against the cost column above: at Gold that is $50 back against $1,000 (Originals) or $4,000 (slots) of expected loss.

Weekly boost and monthly bonus
Saturdays ~12:30 GMT via Telegram, and mid-month by email. Calculated from wagering, level, P&L and game mix. No public formula; losing weeks pay more. Anyone quoting an exact percentage is guessing.

Bonus maths, since it comes up in every VIP thread
Expected value of a bonus = B - (B x rollover x house edge). A $100 bonus at 40x on a 4% slot forces $4,000 of wagering with $160 of expected house take, so it is worth about -$60. Break-even rollover = 1 / house edge: 25x on a 4% slot, 100x on a 1% game.

Calculator
I built a free VIP calculator (lifetime wagered, target level, bet size, bets per hour, game type, sports 3x) plus rakeback, bonus rollover and a dice simulator that runs flat vs martingale over thousands of rolls: https://northedgeca.com/tools/

Not advice, and Stake's pages are the source of truth if anything here has moved.

Building a VIP calculator is cool and all but why not just use stakes calculator? Kinda seems like a waste of time to make something that already exists doesn't it? You're not the 1st to do it either so not really giving you shit, just wonder why people need to have more than 1 calculator?

At first, I thought the same thing that this is just another simple calculator to calculate how much to wager to reach the next level but seems that this one is a bit different.
I would say this one is like an advanced calculator because it is also count expected cost, possible rakeback which can be set by our own betting preferences (average bet, preferred game, etc.
I tried to calculate using my own statistic but there is still missing information which is related to the Level Up reward as it is written as "Not reported".
Not sure if there is other advanced calculator like this out there.
