aBitP2P: Open-Source, Non-Custodial Bitcoin Market on Telegram

Hello everyone,

I want to share a FOSS project I have been building. The goal is simple: returning Bitcoin P2P trading to its roots—private, direct, and with absolutely no KYC, running seamlessly on Telegram.

Centralized platforms have become too invasive. aBitP2P acts strictly as a decentralized communication and coordination layer. Trades are secured through a non-custodial 2-of-3 multisig escrow, meaning you are always in control of your sats.

Since this is built for the community, the codebase is 100% open-source for full transparency and public auditing.

Checked out the GitHub. 2-of-3 P2WSH escrow is legitimate but touting it as "non-custodial" & "bringing P2P back to its roots" is misleading. User WIFs are generated by the bot, kept encrypted in your mysql, and decrypted on the server once the operator types in their password on the Telegram chat interface - so if the operator, or someone compromising a host machine where its running, ever see's that password, all bets on "you always have control over your sats" is off. Disutes are just admins /settling it with commands instead of some kind of decentralized Dispute resolution layer.

I also find building the entire market based out of the Telegram platform while simultaneously making a pitch on non-KYC, private trades to be funny at best.

Open Source is good; its definitely not Vaporware but it is an amateur one-manbot with soft-trust rules wrapped up in a "hard non-custodial" frame. I will definitely wait for proper audits and clarification why one wouldn't use some kind of an offering like RoboSats before dropping any significant size on this @aBitP2PBot.
