Came across the newly launched LCX Liberty DEX and thought it might be worth discussing here, especially from the development/technical side.

From what they’ve published, Liberty DEX is a non-custodial DEX aggregator that builds its own view of on-chain liquidity instead of relying entirely on an external pricing service.

A few things caught my attention:

Tracks 400K+ liquidity pools and 400K+ tokens across 40+ venues
Supports Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum One and OP Mainnet
Can split larger trades across different liquidity sources
Ranks routes based on the amount reaching the wallet after gas
Supports cross-chain swaps in a single flow
No LCX platform fee on swaps
Includes a multi-chain portfolio view
Routing infrastructure is also available to developers through an API, TypeScript SDK and embeddable widget
They’ve also launched an MCP server for AI applications, but the tools are read-only and cannot sign transactions or move funds

What I find more interesting than the DEX interface itself is their decision to make the routing engine part of the developer product.

Instead of just building another swap frontend, they seem to be positioning the underlying liquidity/routing infrastructure as something wallets, trading apps and other developers can integrate.

Has anyone here tested the routing yet?

Would also be interested to hear what developers think about maintaining an independent view of liquidity across hundreds of thousands of pools versus relying on existing aggregation/pricing infrastructure.
