That is why I said there might be a way to bypass the ISP block without changing/masking our IPs.

This is the reason I like gambling sites that have several links. Also some gambling sites can know many of their customers from a permitted location is unabke to access their site and they will create another link to make the custom able to access their site. This is the best way it can be bypassed.

Not all gambling sites are against VPN. Some gambling sites are also not against VPN so far the user is not gambling from a location that is not allowed.

You can try using Tor. Although I am not sure, I am just reminding you about Tor.

However, if that gambling site is banned in your country, then it is not advisable to try to bypass it. Because just because a platform is accessible, it may not be safe for you.
Especially some people feel relieved if they can just bypass the block. But why do they forget that withdrawal and dispute resolution can be a big issue in the case of offshore gambling platforms.

If gambling is legal in your country and the service of the site you are gambling on is available in your country, then the ISP will not block that site. And if for some reason the IP is blocked, you can contact the ISP and they will resolve it. But if gambling is illegal in your country and the site is not restricted for you, but the ISP has banned the domain of that site, you will not be able to access it. In that case, you can contact the support of that gambling platform or read the ToS to see if they allow the use of VPN. If the VPN is friendly, then you can use the VPN, otherwise you will have to leave that platform. Since you mentioned that gambling is illegal in your country, it will be a bit difficult for you to deal with it. If that platform is not VPN friendly

Maybe I’m talking crazy here… but if you’re having something being blocked at the ISP level because it is illegal in your country, you may want to consider a new hobby. Gambling is always a measure of risk and reward. When you add the risks you’re talking about into the scenario, it makes me question if any bet is actually worth it.

I am not sure where you are from, but i believe that if gambling is banned in your country, your country is likely on casino's restricted list as well.

That means that eventually when you win enough, your account gets flagged for review and then VPN isn't going to cut it. Because your account is going to get frozen, and you can only hope that you could withdraw what you have. Even though casino probably have legal obligation to freeze your funds as well.

ISPs have their own DNS. If you use the default one or an ISP IP, then they can monitor you and able to block most of the sites available on the internet.

It's too risky to use a casino online if the casino itself is also restricted to your country, but if it's only an ISP, there are a few ways to bypass that thing that most people here already suggested. No need for proxy, residential IPs, or VPN to bypass them; just use the DNS.

But before bypassing it, always make sure to read the TOS of the casino because if you are restricted from gambling, it's useless to gamble there even if you bypass the access.

I think using a VPN may be the most direct and effective way so you can continue to gamble, but not all casinos allow their gamblers to use them, again check their terms of service. Since there are casinos which are friendly towards VPN.

Some casinos are funny, they're not direct with their inclusion of using VPN and still they don't explicitly state it's not accepted, leaving the gambler hanging on a lose end. I've learned from experience that if you're not sure if it's usage, you should ask their customer care representative ( not just the robot, but ask to chat with a live agent), document and hold their response as additional evidence should they in the future want to victimize you for using VPN when they didn't state clearly that it's not allowed and you confirmed from their agent that it isn't prohibited.

VPN can be slower at times, but it's better than not having access to have your fun on the casino.

Correct, casino itself is the risk if you are using VPN, especially if it is indicated on their TOS (which is most of the time). Premium VPN today cost some money and I can't find good free VPN compared to before so free VPN is not a good option.

I live on a country where known international casinos like stake, roobet, etc. are ISP blocked but changing DNS easily resolved the issue. This doesn't violate casino TOS, it just bypassed the ISP filtering. I didn't have any problem after changing the DNS, no reduced speed or any hassle.

This is risky. I would not force it if they are blocking it. That means your country is restricted, and if you find a way to access it, deposit money, win, and try to withdraw, that's where a lot of problems could come up.

What would I do? I'd probably just look for another gambling site, a reputable one that can be accessed legally. Using a VPN or other stuff like injectors and proxies can cause a problem with the terms and conditions, and it's not like they put bold on those warnings about using third-party applications. They sometimes hide it so that no one will see it.

I think you didnt understand what OP was saying. The gambling site didnt restrict him. It was his ISP that didnt allow him to connect to the casino because of government restrictions. Now, I wouldnt suggest that OP use a VPN directly. What you can do instead is use a mirror link, if one is available. If thats not an option then access the site through a VPN but dont deposit any money yet.

Read the FAQs and Terms and Conditions regarding VPN usage. If you cant find any information there, reach out to their customer support and ask specifically about whether VPN usage is allowed. If everything is fine and they confirm that VPN usage is permitted and find, then you can consider depositing and playing. I know its a lot of hassle but at least it is better than getting your money stuck in the casino.

The question should not only be centred on the possible way to gain access to those gambling sites but also on how the platform treats players who are from countries where gambling is not legal.

You wouldn't blame the casinos for treating players from countries that gambling is illegal that way because they're trying to make sure that they work with government laws in order to avoid future problems that will lead to spending of huge funds to solve the problem. I don't see anything wrong with it. Citizens from countries that gambling is illegal should blame their government and not the casino. My problem boils down to when you win big, how will you withdraw your funds from the casino.

The posts above already gave you the answers, and it's also what I did on both desktop and mobile after my ISP started blocking a bunch of crypto casinos.

VPN is a dicey option because some casinos might require a certain level of KYC, and it gets complicated if they ask you to complete a higher level on your account.
 

Even if the gambling site has the mobile apps I wouldn't going to download that because most of the time I played on the desktop or in my laptop. And also, downloading apps is just like extra hassle for me.

Same, I tried mobile apps from a few crypto casinos, and ended up going back to browsers because, aside from downloading them, they'll also force you to update the app.

We are on same boat although in my country gambling is not restricted rather they want to regulate all online casino and they use ISP banning to counter unregistered online casino.

What I’m doing right now is use mirror link as much as possible instead of VPN since VPN drain my device batter faster. I use DNS changer too if there’s no mirror link available.

So far, Most of my favorite have mirror link so I’m not that much affected.

Maybe one of best solution you can do is to avoid those banned casino in your jurisdiction. I think its not good to bypass the restriction happening, since who knows maybe you might experience a problem in future for doing that.

But if you really want to take a risk and want to access those restricted casinos, you can actually use TOR browser since this is the most simplest solution to use regarding in this issue.

You can try to use VPN, if the casino is clear that they are VPN friendly platform.

This is quite unusual but it could be an error from the blocking system of the ISP, the ban could still be there but the system doesn't work on that service provider that you are making use of, that's the reason why you can still be using access it without a VPN and it is still going to work. If the internet provider doesn't recognize the blocking system that is being enforced by the government of that country then there's no way that it is going to be blocked from people to access, but on the other part it could be a technical issue.

Actually, gambling is already banned in my country, in some cases it is seen that there are restrictions directly from the casino to access, in that case I think it would be really risky to gamble.
But in cases where such access problems are only due to ISP/DNS issues and there are no restrictions from the casino, in that case I think gambling would not be that risky. However, as suggested by members, I think if there is a mirror link to that site, then using that would be the best option, otherwise DNS change or need to use VPN or tor ( )
