First LocalBitcoins shut down, then Paxful, and now NoOnes is gone for EU citizens. It feels like the P2P sites is completely shrinking. What's actually left for European users? Are there any reliable P2P platforms still operating in 2026?

It could be described as a young platform, but it has been sufficiently tested here.

Yiu are from Europe, you are lucky. You can use bisq.network which is decentralized. On other decentralized and no KYC exchanges where you can exchange to fiat, there are many euro ads there.

If you want centralized exchanges, OKX and many other exchanges that have MiCA license have P2P. So P2P supposed not to be an issue for people that are living in Europe.

Aside from Bisq, he can also try Robosats and Hodl Hodl, since I think this platform is fine and this is another best option to use. This gives advantage to those people don't want to deal with KYC when doing their trades.

Also Mica does not actually remove p2p on those platforms. So they can still use their services if they like to transact with this platforms.

This new regulation made, makes adoption became more harder. Because many people will provably get discourage on those rules they implement.

p2p as a type of trading, does not fall under the MiCA regulation. This means only a direct exchange between two users, face to face, wallet to wallet... If there is an intermediary platform that will help two users to find or agree on a price, or even a platform that serves only as an escrow, it must be MiCA compliant/licensed.
What might be confusing is that the most well-known platforms, such as those mentioned above, are "no-KYC," meaning they do not even know whether a user is from the EU.

All i know is Binance has restricted my access to P2P trading and removed my local fiat currency to comply with EU MiCA regulations.  I guess i am missing something here?

Bisq looks quite interesting, but is it safe to use? Who handles the escrow if something goes wrong and both parties cannot agree?

That is a pretty cool site. I see you put a notice on some too. What happens if a site receives several scam reports? Do you cre-heck them manually yourself, or just put a notice?

Even just one confirmed scam report is enough for me to place a giant alert banner on the service and disable external links to the site.

This way, everyone knows clearly which services are perfectly clean, and which services have reputational problems.

Additionally, reviews are going to be hosted for each service page very soon.

I have always used P2P on Binance and other CEXs because I feel like it's more trustworthy. I'm not sure about other P2P apps or DEXs yet, since I haven't tried them fully. Maybe, as others said, they have some regulations to follow.

For me, when I am doing P2P, it's best to know the liquidity whether the user has the funds I need and has enough funds so they won't scam me. Plus, the activity is important.
