I have published a crypto-related app on both Android (Google Play Store) and iOS (Apple App Store).
For Android, Google charged a one-time fee of $25, whereas Apple charges approximately ₹8,000 per year for the App Store developer subscription.
Currently, I am seeing significantly better traction on Google Play, with 500+ downloads, while the iOS version has only around 40 downloads.
Given this difference, I am wondering whether it makes sense to continue maintaining the app on both platforms or if I should consider removing it from the App Store.
I would appreciate insights from others who have faced a similar situation:
Is this level of disparity between Android and iOS downloads normal? What factors should I consider before deciding to discontinue the iOS listing? What strategies have worked for improving visibility, downloads, and user acquisition on the Apple App Store?
Any suggestions or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
