The story you have narrated is a normal thing in casino business. If you are winning consistently, some casinos will request for KYC to be sure you are a human.  Some good casino do add this to their TOS but they phrase the statement in such a way that it does not directly mean asking for KYC due to regular winning. Casinos do not just go ahead to tag a gambler as a money launderer unless they notice some suspicious money activities on the account that needs explanation from the gambler. For your friend who was to print a statement of account showing he's a working class to validate his income range, It is likely that the casino needs clarity on how individuals with in income range or bracket keep making such a bet comfortably maybe out of their income range. I have had a similar experience, although it did not go as far as blocking my account, but it was still uncomfortable. Delayed withdrawals and having to go through many procedures are very time consuming and mentally taxing. After successfully withdrawing my winnings, I did not close my account, but I never played there again.

As far as I know, if an account already got blocked by the casino, we are unable to withdraw all the winnings that we got from their site, unless there's an initial agreement and identity verification happened prior to the withdrawal, so they allow that person to open the account again and withdraw all the money. Basically, he's super lucky indeed. Since there's a huge amount of winnings happening repeatedly in the same account, it's possible that the casino system detected it and flagged it to their team for verification, for them to know if the user is really a human and no abuse happened. So they will look for means to shut your account,  always stay with big betting site that's popular,  they will never do such because they have the capacity to pay for any win.

If I get it right, your friend placed all-in $377.28 in a row with 2.00 odds and won 3 bet in a row. Most likely he was playing quick games like dice and got lucky winning 3 times with ~49% win chance. So it took him seconds to win $377 into $2.2k. That is a lot of money. Maybe that was an unusual behavior for his account. I think that was what has triggered extra attention to his account. But "money laundry" as a reason to block his account looks funny, no doubt.

If I were the one, I will not close the account because I have already passed my kyc, so their will be no room for any suspicious on me again, so if am going to another gambling platform, their are chances that I may still experiment such thing, since it will be like starting afresh.

Still lucky he was able to re-access the account and withdraw the money. Because in most cases the result is always a fraudulent Casino, or indeed basically your friend is involved in a winning streak so the casino takes precautions. Obviously if anything something like that will happen with me definitely I will just make the withdrawal from the platform and as well also close the account on that platform.

And the reason is here that, your colleague has had his withdrawal restricted for winning repeatedly, it is not unusual, because the sportsbook provider can consider it as suspicious activity and can temporarily restrict withdrawals just to check, and sometimes many accounts are suspended for arbitrage betting, that is of course a different matter.
