I apologize, in the fact I used the wrong english word when mentioning a "executioner", I never meant to compare a sigban to something so severe.
That's quite alright, no apology necessary, and you weren't the first to make this comparison anyway.
Anyway, I understand that a sigban is not comparable to a permanent board ban, but yourself mentioned 95%... and what about the other 5% who were "put in the bench" while fearing would lose their campaigns, sometimes without being guilty?
Its a very real possibility that I'll make mistakes in the future, so if you have been sigbanned and feel strongly I made an incorrect decision, by all means, please speak up right away, as Pumared did.
The faster someone speaks up and shows me where the mistake has been made (without having to resort to getting personal about it), the faster a resolution can be made.
The thing about sigbans is the finality is not as dire as some people are making it out to be:
1. They are temporary.
2. They can easily be reversed.
3. They do not limit one's ability to participate in any other forum activity/function.
I'd also argue that every time I issue a sigban incorrectly or unjustly, it hurts my reputation more than theirs. So I'd rather avoid doing that, which is made possible by incorporating feedback from the community.
