Bank: You are old, you cannot work. You are sitting comfortably on your wealth (sons, daughters) and eating whatever you get. Because you do not have the strength and intelligence to do anything at that time. They are eating and drinking, relying on wealth just to survive.

BTC: It's completely the opposite. You are young. Hot-blooded, you can do whatever you want. You have all the strength and courage. Then you will think about how to earn money with your wealth instead of sitting and eating it. You will look for ways to make yourself rich, and you will like to take risks. You will love to invest, you will love to double, triple your wealth. It will teach you, lose, win. Now decide what age you are in. But yes, you should never enter the market with your own capital, which if lost will cause problems for your family.

There is no day you would compare bank to bitcoin investment, in fact what you must understand about bitcoin is that you must have to be patient enough to make sure it yields a better interest for you and you must also choose a better investment plans for instance; you may hold for longer periods of time, such as either 12 years and above to give you a better ROI. But in bank, they could be given you interest on monthly basis but again they still would be the one to collect some fee as a bank maintenance fee from your interest. In bitcoin you would never experience such and only when you would want to make transfer that you would be charged some cent from your transaction.
The best bet for me would be a hybrid approach because of the returns Bitcoin can yield in a bullish season and holding for half to almost a decade, assures this interest without any risk to core principal, while the interest from the bank is just a soft landing Incase of complexities that may come unannounced.

No matter how faulty our banking system is, it helps to always have some funds there to protect against liquidity if Bitcoin asset when there's a serious need case and besides in a country where BTC isn't a legal tender and you hold some in self custody, the use of fiat can't be overlooked because it would always come handy.

So if I invested on BTC I would likely get a 2x - 3x on next bull season. If I count it as 4 year cycle then to make next leg up I would need 4 whole years sitting my fund.
A better approach is to keep investing regularly. A simple investment is a good idea but when it comes to returns i personally don't feel it's worth the wait to just be satisfied with my first investment, I would rather accumulate in a consistent range of time whereby making potential results as well come out significant.

With the state of the Bitcoin market at the Moment results even in ten wouldn't be as significant as it was for the early buyers, so the only edge we can have to increase return is constant investment

I don't know why anyone will want to take Bank ROI over Bitcoin investment. If the banks are going to give you a percentage on return, they are definitely getting back more than the yield they are offering. Not like the funds sit in their vault, they also distribute their risk to make more money so they can pay back customers. Now, the bank you afr giving your money is taking risk because of a specific return when you could have done better with Bitcoin.

There is nothing certain now with Bitcoin, it was never and nobody knows but for him to guess the return on what Bitcoin could do is wrong either. If I'm having a funds that I wouldn't touch in 5 years time, not emergency, not for any concern, I'm definitely giving a try with Bitcoin. The least you can worry now is buying at all time and the price is even fair here, the price is not bad from here to go all in.

I'm getting 11.5% interest on my FDR right now , within 6-7 years my investment will be 100% in profit if I do not cashout.
I'm getting a 10.5% Interest on my DPS , Which I save money in monthly basis. Interest rate drops and increases however it's always around 10% .

So if I invested on BTC I would likely get a 2x - 3x on next bull season. If I count it as 4 year cycle then to make next leg up I would need 4 whole years sitting my fund.

But If I approch this way , depositing my interest from DPS on BTC won't be bad. Making free money from free money.

So according to this situation which one would be better? I wants some actuall numbers not promises.
Bitcoin is not a fixed-interest kind of investment, and there is no guarantee that by the next bull season, you will get 2× to 3× profits automatically. It is possible, but not an assurance. It will be better that you bear this in mind so you do not disappoint yourself in the future. If you need actual figures, you won't get them because bitcoin is not a fixed asset.

If I were you, I would choose to invest in bitcoin rather than trust fiat savings. Alternatively, you do not need to choose. Investing only the interest in bitcoin while still keeping your principal in fiat savings won't be bad. But with the bitcoin investment, you shouldn't expect so much from it. Just give your investment time and relax your mind. You'll just have two investments growing at the same time, even though one may be affected by inflation and unfavourable government policies over time.

Nobody can give you actual numbers. Because nobody knows what the future will look like. But Bitcoin is definitely far more profitable than leaving your money in the bank and getting a fraction of the money that your money generates.

With Bitcoin it is 100% yours and the profits are multitudes greater.

No question: Bitcoin wins. At least from my own subjective perspective. You might get other opinions here.

If you have an opportunity why not take both. When it comes to building assets or savings with the banks most of them offering loans, and even credit cards for better experience related to finance, banks are centralized once you have a good reputation you can get easily a perks and access service, with bitcoin of course it's a long term investment took a cycle, but bitcoin is just another form of investment only depends how you will use like in a transaction base, payment or long term hodling. For me I prefer both as an opportunity to earn but as possible only few in banks because there is an inflation the value of your money gets less over time.
A good point because if someone is have good mind and also sources are available he can go ahead with both these will be give him good benefits and also he will be able to fight against inflation which is always problem after having fiat in banks here he try to use benefits from banks and buy Bitcoin because with this profit will be increase but here also needs good strategy without having any prior work its going to be not easy.

No doubt about the benefits of Bitcoin in the long term, while using fiat through banks is also working ok and giving good returns even in inflation, it hurts badly currently. The situation is clearly going well for Bitcoin but fiat is also having something to say recently. People are using both ways because they understand the importance of these opportunities.

If you keep your money in Bitcoin, it has been seen since the launch of Bitcoin that your money will be 3-4x within 4-5 years. And if you keep your money in the bank, the chances of it being 100% within this period are very less because even if you get 10-12% annual interest from the bank, income tax will be deducted from it at 10-15%, so in that case your profit range will be further reduced.

But if you invest in Bitcoin, there is a risk here too because the price of Bitcoin fluctuates. If you keep money in the bank, you can withdraw that money at any time and you will not lose anything, but in the case of Bitcoin, if you suddenly want to cash out Bitcoin, you may also be in loss because it is not possible to predict in advance what the price of Bitcoin will be at that time. So if you can successfully hold Bitcoin for 4-5 years, then I would say invest in Bitcoin instead of keeping money in the bank. Because you will have the opportunity to get the same amount of profit as you would get by keeping money in the bank for 20 years within 4-5 years through investment in Bitcoin.

The simple answer to him is to stop focusing on returns. There is no assurance that he will get 2x or 3x of his returns during the next bull run. There is a chance of making a profit for sure if he has used this period to buy enough for him to expect such profit. We are in the era where input=output. You invest little in Bitcoin, expect little return, and vice versa for comfortable and huge and investment.

Following past events, he could get above 2x or 3x, but times have changed. Bitcoin volatility has reduced a little due to the four-year halving cycle.

You are right, the purpose of keep money inside the bank is for easy access. Your bank should be where your emergency savings, back up funds and any other type of savings should be kept. One day you might want to buy drugs or something else,  you can easily withdraw money from ATM to pay, because it will be inconvenient for you to start selling part of your Bitcoin to pay.
.
Any money someone wants to put into bitcoin should be for investment alone, it shouldn't be touched just because an emergency arises. Of course there's no good returns when you save in the bank, but if you're uncomfortable with the way  Inflation rises, then put half of the money into Bitcoin and the remaining balance in bank for spending.  At least you won't be putting everything in one place.

I believe everything in life have purposes bank is important buying and holding BTC is also important but due to the volatility of bitcoin i wouldn't advise saving money in bitcoin, we need to know that nothing is guarantee and we can't put everything we have in bitcoin, let it just be for investment purposes as you could either profit or lost, bitcoin could dip at the time you may want to sell to settle up some things if you sell you sell at lost but you will have to sell since that's where you hope of getting money, but having some money in bank will only be cut by inflation and you could easily get it if there is an emergency.

If you keep money in the bank, you should not just look at the interest rate, but in this case, if you observe increasing inflation, then if you keep money in the bank and consider the value of that money after 10 years, you will see that the value of your money has decreased by half. If you invest in Bitcoin for 10 years, you will see about two halving cycles in ten years, in which case you will definitely have the possibility of doubling or quadrupling your profit.
Moreover, instead of keeping money in the bank, you could have done one more thing, especially if you invested in gold or land as a physical asset, then you would definitely have gotten several times more profit than the bank. So I will not do the stupid thing of keeping money in the bank, especially instead of keeping money in the bank, I will invest in physical assets or invest in Bitcoin and hold it for 10 years like DPS.

Bitcoin is my preference. Not only will it yield better returns within a shorter time compared to FDR and DPS. It's also an edge against inflation. If you live in a country where the inflation rate is high is a more reason you need to save in Bitcoin. Since FDR and DPS are fiat-based savings, your money will eventually lose most of its purchasing power and may not be able to cover the majority of your needs.

The OP way be getting 11.5% interest but the government is taking a percentage of that through
inflation, so its not really 11.5% and then there is probably a tax on that profit also.

For example in my country the government are providing a savings scheme over 10 years at 22%!
yes 22% . . . over the 10 years which is only 2.2% per year but inflation is advertised at running at
about 4%, in reality its higher. So anyone putting money in the bank is actually losing.

Same with the OP's scenario, its not actually 11.5,%

Thats where BTC makes better sense

Firstly, is the interest rate worth holding for that long? Personally holding fiat for that long usually is not safe obviously fiat value can either depreciate over time, some other kind of investment aside bitcoin is also advisable if you don’t see bitcoin as a valuable asset.
I would advise you hold bitcoin instead, experiencing a 4 years circle simply shows you know much about bitcoin well, what happens if this 4 years circle is not desired as targeted. The market price is not always about past event definitely bitcoin has the bullish and bearish season just curious to know if things don’t go as plan, for eager investors this is challenge they can’t handle and sell after which is wrong. Meanwhile the bank is considered the least place to store your money for the long run, these guys use our money to run their business while give us little or no interest in return.

There is never a day that would come when a limited and scares asset would be seen to have the same value or relatively same value as an asset that is printed almost as it diminishes.
Bitcoin has shown its potential in valuation over a short period of time and its adoption continues to be on the rise, promising high returns for investors, having your money saved away in one bank would just mean, subjecting it to inflation while you get little to no profit on it.

Bitcoin's value isn't determined by supply alone. Limited supply and scarcity mean nothing if demand is no longer there or just disappears. Use case and real world utility matter way more than supply. There are plenty of shitcoins with limited supply, some even with less supply than Bitcoin, but most of them are useless because there is no demand for them.

Bitcoin and bank, Bitcoin wins when it comes to returns. But that comparison is kinda off too, because putting money in bank was never really meant as an investment to make high returns.

I will prefer Bitcoin over fiat. Why ? I have many reasons for choosing Bitcoin over fiat aka Bank.
Forget about the interest rates you will know if you truly made profit after they must have collected all the charges including their own fee and give you your profit that is when you can conveniently tell your experience with bank savings or investments but Bitcoin doesn't entertain third parties except you want to go for it but sole custody highly recommended.
You can invest without any third-party, long term short term is okay, you decide when to take profit. No third party fees and charges as long as your assets are under your supervision. Your investment privacy is guaranteed. So you can now see the big difference, it is left for you to decide.

Bitcoin is the best option for anyone who want to hold for long periods of time, for an individual to know what he has achieved with his money, the best thing is to invest in bitcoin, keeping your fiat in the bank is a waste of time for me, even though fiat has been the most valuable currency in our lives, but anyone who wants to achieve a good return in the future should go for bitcoin, bitcoin doesn't get control like the way banks control the customers money or charges them every months for monthly fees even without not doing any transactions.

Bank saving is always different from investing in bitcoin because banks continue to do business as usual, whereas investing in bitcoin allows you to build for yourself in the future. If someone asks me if it's better to keep his money in fiat in the bank or invest it in bitcoin, my answer is always to invest in bitcoin if he intends to hold it for the next 5 years, because that is the best option that will help.

Exactly, money store in banks can’t be seen as investment instead it just a saving and saving is totally a different thing From investment. When we keep our money in banks we are expected to come meet our money in that same state but when we are referring to bitcoin then when our money is store in bitcoin then it instantly turns to investment because we can’t come to meet that money in that same condition we kept it because of it volatility. We can’t use bitcoin for savings, it just meant for investment but in banks we can save money there and come to meet it in that same state and when we are looking for other way to save our money in cryptocurrency then we can consider the stable coins but not bitcoin.
And you were right about bitcoin that when it comes to returns then bitcoin takes the leads because banks can’t offer such services since it can be relatively classified as a business.

I'm getting 11.5% interest on my FDR right now , within 6-7 years my investment will be 100% in profit if I do not cashout.
I'm getting a 10.5% Interest on my DPS , Which I save money in monthly basis. Interest rate drops and increases however it's always around 10% .

So according to this situation which one would be better? I wants some actuall numbers not promises.

That’s a guaranteed 10% profit per year which is already huge less risk investment especially if there’s no capped on the amount you will invest then I will definitely choose that for the majority of my savings than risk on the x2 or x3 of Bitcoin that can also give you the risk of wiping out 50% of your investment more or less assuming you will need the money on the bad market.

I say just put on Bitcoin the amount you are willing to lose like part of your salary then focus most of your money invested on less risky which 10% interest rate is already good. I will take that offer if my bank gave it but it’s too bad interest here just darn low so I invest most of my money invested Bitcoin especially that inflation hits hard on PHP.  Cheesy
