OP, you forgot to add inflation into this calculation so in 7 years you might have 100% returns from the initial value but the purchasing power of that money will be just the same as what you started with or even lesser. But the 7 years is almost 2 cycles that must be 2x on the very least but the average should be at least 6x, that should end this discussion of which is best.

If anyone keep money as liquid in their bank then the value is losing even with interest rate.

In conclusion, if the money is for daily needs, keeping it in the bank is the right decision, if you want to save it for future savings funds then bitcoin is the best solution, especially buying bitcoin in a bearish market like now is very good.
Bitcoin is for those who are prepared to hold for few years until finally cashing out profits. If the intention is to use the money in a shorter period of tine, BTC isn't a good option, otherwise there are high risks the investor will withdraw his funds facing harsh losses.

But if the investor is patient and organized enough to wait the right time, BTC is much superior than any alternatives offered by traditional banks.

For those who want to check real data as proof, just look at Bitcoin's history and its evolution each new bullish cycle and the impact of halving event over BTC's price.

Your profit from the bank is going to be lesser in value because of inflation. I've started to remove most of my balance from my bank account, even if it's not that a lot, because of inflation. It's better that it is making a money on its own through value appreciation with BTC or higher interest rates from the digital banks. But I have already decided to put most of it into Bitcoin. It doesn't earn interest on specific periods but its value appreciation in the next coming years is looking to shoot up just as what happened in the past years. For that option OP, you know where it is better placed.

I'm getting 11.5% interest on my FDR right now , within 6-7 years my investment will be 100% in profit if I do not cashout.
I'm getting a 10.5% Interest on my DPS , Which I save money in monthly basis. Interest rate drops and increases however it's always around 10% .

So if I invested on BTC I would likely get a 2x - 3x on next bull season. If I count it as 4 year cycle then to make next leg up I would need 4 whole years sitting my fund.

But If I approch this way , depositing my interest from DPS on BTC won't be bad. Making free money from free money.

So according to this situation which one would be better? I wants some actuall numbers not promises.
If you are willing to hold for that long I think you are good, the main issue is that a lot of people then to panic sell eventually or take profit too soon

Interest rates offered by banks are always lower than inflation. If you've made at least 6-7 year plan, you don't even need to compare Bitcoin to banks. You'll never make a higher return with bank interest. In fact when you factor in inflation, you'll actually lose money. You'll likely ride out the first one or two cycles and come out ahead with Bitcoin. This is not guaranteed, but that's how it's always been in Bitcoin's short history.

If you look at the difference between interest rates and inflation, the issue will become clear to you. So there is no need to make any comparison between banks and Bitcoin.

I don't know about your country but I want to calculate the inflation rate in my country. If calculated in USD basis, then in 2021 $1=৳85 but now $1=৳123, see how much difference has been made in 5 years. If inflation is so high then it is better to keep money in Bitcoin than in the bank.
Since you have a long-term plan, it may be better to invest in Bitcoin, this will protect your money from inflation and you can expect to make more profit.

A 2x–3x Bitcoin outcome over four years is possible but not guaranteed.

In FDR, for example, $100,000 compounded annually at 11.5% would become roughly $176,000 after 5 years and $189,000 after 6 years. Bitcoin could outperform that substantially, but it could also be flat or below the initial investment over the same period.

It’s a chance worth taking, though, especially when considering the range of earning opportunities that Bitcoin’s infrastructure already provides, be it in the form of active income (Trading, Mining, Lightning routing, and Bitcoin-related business, amongst others) or passive earnings (Bitcoin lending, staking, or Bitcoin-backed DeFi, towards which we’ve seen the emergence of platforms such as Babylon Labs and the impact that they’re having towards raising the appeal and long-term viability of such opportunities).

I’m more of a risk-loving individual, so when faced with these options, I’d go for Bitcoin, but there’s no clear-cut “better” option. So, choose whichever works best for you.

As long as I'm saving long term bitcoin makes more sense but if it's short term I will just leave it with my bank before I end up selling at a loss later on.

I choose BTC of course. I will choose it 1 million times.

Is there anything safer in today's market than BTC? BTC will not only give more ROI, it gives it in the shortest time possible and protect your investment from the eye of those who you do not want them to know about your success, including the government if you like. The system created by government and banks are to reap people of their finances. Don't be surprised when you get the approximately 11% return, the government will collect their part, the banks you thought they were doing you a favor must have earned 350% from you. That's crazy. Deal with banks for investment at your own risk, they are not there for the good of the people.

I believe in investing in Bitcoin because if you save money, it will gradually lose value due to inflation, but if you can invest in Bitcoin, its value will gradually increase. This means that Bitcoin works best against currency depreciation and maintains the value of your money, the more you hold Bitcoin in the future, the more you can improve. Therefore, Bitcoin investment plays the most effective role in becoming financially successful in the future, if someone wants to use their confidence and money properly, they should invest in Bitcoin.

So according to this situation which one would be better? I wants some actuall numbers not promises.

It will be possible to achieve maximum benefits in Bitcoin investment, if you hold Bitcoin for a long time and you want to use the money properly according to your wishes, then invest in Bitcoin today. I do not know how much interest the bank will give you, but you can achieve several times more benefits than the amount you invest in Bitcoin investment. Since Bitcoin is now under the control of investors, the price is very cheap, so you can take the opportunity to buy Bitcoin here.

Ypu are not going to lose much in the short term, so keeping the liquid cash in bank account or even physical currency is fine and it is necessary because I can pay my bills only via the cash not with bitcoin, so the remaining cash that we don't intend to use for a while should be kept aside for investment and a part of it can go to bitcoin along with many other assets.

I will prefer bitcoin over fiat all the time, fiat is also important but I prefer bitcoin more than any currency m, because it the best that you can buy and hold for a long time and still get a profit in the end, you can save your money in the bank and when you need the money you might see some deductions from your bank account because of some charges the bank did for monthly fees, if you want to have a good future without not regretting it at the end, the best thing is to buy bitcoin instead of keeping it in fiat in the bank.

The fiat you can keep in the bank is emergency fund, because that is what you can use any time when you have a financial crisis, but if you want to hold for a long time you have to invest in bitcoin, so that you will not end up regretting at the end when the banks suffer you and still be using the opportunity to be getting fees from the customers.

Thank you for clarifying what I said, Actually it is not necessary because I think it is easy for anyone to understand.

The right time? do you mean it's timing tea market? it is not easy, you do not outsmart it as if it is easy to do, it is better to Buy and Hodl, at least one cycle if we enter the market today, the probability of risk will be very small if using that size.

In my own opinion, I'd rather choose to buy Bitcoin in bear season and hold it  particularly if you want to hold your money for a long-term period. I’d think that having savings in a bank is highly suggested if the money you put there will be used when you really need it right away. But if it’s an investment type, go for any crypto activities & buying stocks. To be honest, the interest rate given by the banks doesn’t seem fair, especially when a large amount of money has gone into your bank account. It just doesn’t seem worth it.

But you can go for both right?

Putting your interest since it's free money like you said into bitcoin.

How about you carry out a physical experiment and see which one will yield more over the same period of years? That way, people don't give you rough estimates or assumptions on which would be better but you get to see it for your self.

If in the next bull season Bitcoin doesn't yield you profits then you can stick to investing in banks. But I doubt you will.

Bitcoin will double in price in the next bull run and it will probably still go a bit higher.
It sounds too certain. I will prefer to say on a long term.

Unless they are keeping it short term, if I have something I want go do with my money let's say January next year I would think it's will be better to keep that money in my bank than in BTC, in the long run bitcoin will most definitely climb higher in value but it's also very possible that in the next 4 months the value will reduce instead, inflation can be a bitch but I would rather take my chances with it over such a short period of time then with bitcoin. As long as I'm saving long term bitcoin makes more sense but if it's short term I will just leave it with my bank before I end up selling at a loss later on.

My point exactly and I think that's what most people should consider before they decide, I see alot of people here just saying bitcoin without really thinking it through enough, I will pick bitcoin if it's long term but if it's short term then I'm sticking with my bank, I don't see the inflation hitting so bad that my money will become completely useless in around a month or two.

For a hedge against inflation the bank isn't the appropriate place to put in your money and leave it for a very long time because, for certain, rising inflation would make any interest adding to it to be meaningless when you weigh the cost of goods and services for what that money can afford currently even with the interest added and what it was able to afford previously before saving it in the bank.

This a real life experience I had when I left a little amount of funds in the bank for about 7 months because I wasn't sure when would be the exact time I would be needing the funds to execute the project it was meant for and I don't want to leave it in bitcoin since I don't know what bitcoin price would be at (dip or high) when the funds would be needed. Long story cut short, I had to add extra funds to the amount when It was eventually needed to be used for the project. Something we had already done market survey 7 months back and got the appropriate amount but inflation affected the value cost in just 7 months of delaying.

I’d think that having savings in a bank is highly suggested if the money you put there will be used when you really need it right away.
That's called emergency fund and that's what should the funds that we deposit there should be used. Or just being cash ready for that. I think that even someone who's got a lot of money in the bank and not going to use it immediately, this gives them the freedom to think of where they are going to invest it. And hopefully, OP and those people will decide to put it in bitcoin not because we tell them so but because they understand the need of doing it and it's exact to their current situation now as it allows them to invest in it without hurrying or forcing themselves to.

They can store their emergency fund with splits to different things: cash, digital bank accounts' money, stablecoins if they want to take more risk with stablecoins. I personally choose the first two methods: cash and bank accounts' money for my emergency fund. Because I have no belief that stablecoins will always be stable.

With my emergency fund, I need it to have something I can use immediately, and with exact value of the fund I built up for urgent needs. The most favorite choice is cash, and if people don't want to have more risk, they won't store money in bank accounts. If they want some more flexibility, they can have two parts as said: cash, and bank account's money.

Tether can freeze stable coins in your wallets.

I will prefer Bitcoin over banks.
This days I hate exposing myself to the world, bank have that habits, the know your worth.

With Bitcoin you can't know my worth unless you know that my Bitcoin address is linked with my Identity card or some KYC verification, I trust Bitcoin wallet more than my bank account.

No one will know that I hold Bitcoin or I am worth some amount of money, it's easier to flash my bank account and say that I am broke, and they will believe, not knowing that my main money is in a Bitcoin wallet.
