A friend of mine—someone I referred—won 2 BTC at the casino known as Bitcoinvideocasino (URL: https://bitcoinvideocasino.com/slots; Bitcointalk profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=130242.0). Although he won 2 BTC there, they haven't paid out his winnings in two months; he only received a refund of his deposits and nothing else, and later he sent a message of admin to my friend via Telegram stating this.
Hi J D, hello all,

I have been out of action for a while due to some offline issues, and Telegram was not being checked as a result. Apologies for that. I am only getting to check all of the communication around this issue here now, and the debacle around it.

BVC has paid out every win there has ever been on our casino (amounting to thousands and thousands of BTC), and we continue to do so. We were the first ever crypto casino in existence and we have an impeccable legacy. We certainly have no intention of sullying that!

J D, as per our email last month:

Please accept my sincerest apologies for the delay on issuing your winnings, and for the lack of communication around it.

Your Craps progressive win is confirmed and legitimate, and you're being paid in full: 2.0379 BTC.

A bit of background on the jackpot, since you'd already spotted that the number didn't fit the current credit economics. You were right on that. This was a legacy jackpot: it accumulated under the previous operator, under the older (larger) credit denomination. When the casino changed hands and credits were rebased, that legacy pool wasn't recalculated to the new denomination, and because Craps sees very little play the discrepancy went unnoticed. "Legacy" here just means the prize predates the current operation and was carried over from the prior one rather than built up under today's credit sizes.

Because of that history, this payout is being funded separately from general casino funds - it's being handled as its own obligation rather than out of day-to-day operating balances or prize pools.

On the payments: the full 2.0379 BTC will be paid to you in monthly instalments of 0.1705 BTC over 12 months (which covers your entire current account balance of [PRIVATE] BTC - the account has a withdrawal limit of 0.1705 BTC per month, so you will be able to withdraw any additional funds in month 13), starting in August, in line with our terms of service covering the release of large payouts over time. That schedule is fixed and we will hold to it.

One thing I also owe you directly is a direct apology: when the win came in we restricted access to your account while we verified it, and that wasn't handled correctly. Due to the fact that it was a legacy prize and not one within the boundaries of normal operation, there was miscommunication among the team about who was actually taking care of this and I had considered it taken care of until I checked back in today. That was our mistake, and I'm sorry for the uncertainty it caused you. From here on out I will be handling things directly.

Having just checked your account I can see you have made four withdrawals already totalling 0.1705 BTC for August. Two of those (0.05 BTC each) were made to the previous address you had set, and the two remaining (0.05 BTC and 0.0205 BTC) to the alternate monthly address that you requested it be changed to.

I accept and understand that the timing around this should have been handled a lot better, but given the extensive communication with support via email it is a little disingenuous to portray the situation as something it is not. Please let us know if there are any further issues at all, and we will take care of them promptly.

Thanks all!

However, he has not received any payment—neither the full amount nor the monthly installments—that he promised.

What do you think?

Has the friend tried to email the representative and ask where this months payment is or when it will be sent? You can have the person open a complaint on askgamblers or casinoguru if no response is given within a reasonable amount of time.

We need proof other than your word if you want us to tag the casino. Follow the following format

First of all, I don't know how you can see no good in first demand you receive your winning on installment when it was expected to be paid at once, unless you bargain for that with them.

Secondly, the amount is also too much and reasonable enough for them to find any flimsy excuses that will prevent them from paying you. Some low-reputed dumpling casinos will only state that your account has been found violating their rules even though you did not, but I'm still wondering how possible for someone to win up to 2 BTC; the risk is too high for you, and the payout is too much for them as well.

The casino involved is an old casino way back 2012 which means most of their jackpot rewards is on Bitcoin currency instead of the typical casino in $ value. We don’t know exactly if he is telling the truth since the representative last active was last year December so we can just speculate here.

This casino is operating for a long time even if they are not that popular but at least they don’t have unresolved major scam accusation. I don’t have any experience playing on this casino but it’s very rare for an OG casino to stay active without unresolved issue these days.

Thanks all!

However, he has not received any payment—neither the full amount nor the monthly installments—that he promised.

What do you think?
Have you friend contacted them again? Have they said anything as to why the monthly installments still not being paid? I suggest following what yahoo62278 said about providing proof.

Also, their forum representative is banned, probably because of this, so they won't be able to respond here, unless they break the forum rules and creates an account again.

If we look at the big wins tab in the casino, basically we can see the exact winning amount in the specific game (crap) as what is referred in this thread.

Probably the player should open the scam accusation thread himself by adding more valid evidences especially related to claim that the casino did not pay as well as the available communication between him and the admin of the site.
Unfortunately the fact that the official rep of the casino is no longer active here, I do not think the player will get a response from them.
The X account of the casino is also not really actively posting (last post months ago) and seems that they are only active in telegram lately so I think telegram is the only possible way to get a response although the player has said that he is blocked in the telegram.
