Isaac "Pitbull" Cruz will defend his title against Nestor Bravo this weekend, September 19. This would be an exciting fight as we all knew Pitbull who is always aggressive in his all fights. I'll be watching this because there is a chance that if Pitbull will win this one, he could have a shot at Ryan Garcia as the latter was saying in one of his interviews that he love to be back in the ring this December or January against Pitbull Cruz. As for the odds, Pitbull is the heavy favorite of this matchup.

So this weekend already? How come we miss this fight? Although there are really a lot of good fights in August and September that we might have forgotten about it. In any case, Pitbull Cruz is the outstanding favorite so this could be an easy fight for him and might scored a knockout as we all know the style of Pitbull. Just go and pure aggressiveness and all out offense.
I'm just surprised though that Cruz is defending his interim WBC title. Why not go against Dalton Smith, the regular champion in WBC?
I guess it's very clear how corruption in boxing is, specially WBC with the Sulaiman's.

It looks to me this should be a very entertaining matchup. Pitbull Cruz is known for bringing nonstop pressure and aggression, so Bravo will have his hands full if Cruz is able to dictate the pace.
I’m also interested in what this fight could mean for Cruz’s next move. If he gets the win, a potential matchup with Ryan Garcia would definitely be something most fans would like to watch, me inclusive. Garcia vs. Pitbull would have plenty of storylines and fireworks, especially given their history.
Definitely one of the fights I’ll be keeping an eye on this weekend. Meanwhile, AI MONEY ENGINE is out now. Check my Signature

The match will be very interesting but my problem with it is that Isaac Cruz odd is too small which is just 1.15 on the gambling site that OP took the odd from. This is the reason I prefer matches that the two fighters will be good fighters that their odds will be close to or more 2. I do not think I can bet on such small odd.

That means he is the overwhelming odds favorite base on boxing punters. And it's easy because he is the champion and he had a lot of experience, big puncher as compare to Nestor Bravo who is not even rank in the top 10, but number 83. https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/711322So this is just obvious a get busy fight for Pitbull. But as far as a Ryan Garcia rematch, I don't think we might see it for now. Ryan is too busy with so many fights in the line like Teo Lopez or Haney. Pitbull might be good to fight Shakur as they are both in the 140 lbs, and champions.

Nestor Bravo is what would be considered a no-hoper, which is why the odds are so lopsided. Dalton Smith is the current WBC Champion, although we know Shakur is the top guy in the division. He would still be champion if it wasn’t for having a dispute with the WBC. Cruz and Smith might be paper champions but I would still like to see them meet each other to see who is better and reduce the amount of titles.
Cruz should beat Bravo fairly convincingly, even if he is one dimensional and hasn’t looked that great since beating Rolly.

Nestor Bravo is not even near compared to the Pitbull. Bravo might have pretty good stats with 24W, 1L, and 17 of his games ended with KO. However, he never won against elite fighter in his resume, and this sounds like a cherry picking game by Pitbull if i have to be honest. No doubt Bravo is highly unfavored due to the how bad he is.
As for the result, i'm betting on Pitbull to win. His experience, power, and durability against a strong opponent in the past will help him a lot. He will be winning this by TKO at very least consider how bad his opponent. So he will batter bravo, then i hope he will have a fight against a better boxer like Zepeda.

It looks like a cherry-picked fight, alright, meant to get Pitbull Cruz to the top and become a legit champion again, checking Bravo's resume; except for Pedro Campa, all the other names are unknown or lower-level fighters, but this is a good opportunity also for Bravo to get to the top. Pitbull can be upset, and we saw it in the Valenzuela match, where he was the heavy favourite and lost. I hope it will not happen again; I hope to see something new in Pitbull's style, not only as a brawler, but he should add technical movement to his skill.

The odds itself simply says Cruz is expected to win this easily. If Bravo, who I'm not really familiar with, is not the kind of technical boxer who can handle pressure, then he could suffer the same fate as the others Cruz has beaten. Cruz is very aggressive, just like his nickname suggests, so I'm not really thinking of betting on him just to win. I'm more interested in Cruz to win by knockout, and based on my crystal ball, an early KO looks possible here.

He has a decent record of 24 wins and 1 lose with 17 knockout pretty decent knockout ratio but the problem is he is fighting unpopular opponent, this far Pitbull Cruz is the biggest name that he will ever face in his entire career. This should be an easy win for Cruz and he should win this convincingly because Ryan Garcia has floated his name to be his opponent this December or January. If he wins this one with ease then money fight will be next for the Pitbull.

This more like a promotional fight for Bravo. This why how i dislike PBC who is not even searching an elite name for their fighter to fight, but they only focus on how to make the fighters under them get more popularity. Bravo and Pitbull is under the same promoter (PBC). IYKWIM. On other hand it sounds weird you compare Valenzuela who was a proven boxer that ever fought so many elite fighters to the Bravo. Honestly, i think bravo is not even closer to the Valenzuela's level. It's normal when pitbul lose to a guy who almost the same level as him. You can't take Pitbull's game against Valenzuela same as when he fight Bravo soon.

You outrightly noted the bias in picks but it's all business and publicity at the end of the day and am sure if Nestor drags on onto maybe 10th round, without a TKO or KO, then he's actually a worthy opponent. Despite height advantage of Nestor, it might not be enough to stop the Pitbull from landing heavy body shots on him as we have seen with elite boxers like Mike Tyson beating down those taller than him. So height advantage is practically useless without technique or aggression and that's why Pitbull is the better favorite here.

After the Valenzuela loss, I have doubts about Pitbull because he's a one-directional fighter, and many of his would-be opponents, like Bravo right now, will look at the Valenzuela match to see his shortcomings, and I'm right, based on this article. He watched the fight, and it will come down to execution: how he will replicate Valenzuela's performance against Pitbull and how Pitbull changed his moves after that loss. If Bravo failed to replicate, then Pitbull will just knock him out cold. “I watched that fight live because back then it was for the WBA [super lightweight title] and we were ranked No. 2 in the WBA, so it was something interesting to see,” Bravo offers. “We were right there, set to fight whoever was next. The fight that would be beneficial for Nestor Bravo to watch and apply toward Isaac 'PItbull' Cruz
