Some people are foolish and ignorant of many things. What they like is TikTok but they do not want to learn about how they will not get scammed. All these are online where people can read it but what they prefer are watching movies, TikTok where they will not see many educating information about avoiding scam. 14 days 200% ROI is enough for people to know that it is a scam.

One of my relatives called me last night to discuss an online investment she heard of. She said that people in her area are investing $3K to $6K and they are getting almost 10% profit every month. She asked me if I had heard about this and if she should invest as well. I advised her not to invest a single dollar there.

Some people do not think about how the company is going to pay them 200% in this short period of time. They think they just found a money-making machine. These Ponzi scheme websites pay some people to gain trust, and then end up scamming everyone.

It's simple really: there is a constant influx of new people into crypto who think bitcoin is some sort of magic money, so for them even 200% profit doesn't seem so unrealistic. Add to that all the stories they must have been hearing about people getting rich quickly through crypto, and you get this.

Did they ever really go away? I can't remember a time when Ponzi scams actually stopped happening. The fact is that we only hear about them when they happen around us or when someone we know falls victim to one. I fell for many of these shitty scams back when I was just starting my crypto journey. They would claim to own some crypto mining site, and you were asked to invest money to buy some fake mining tools on the platform. Then, after a certain number of days, usually around 14 days like in OP's example, you would supposedly be able to withdraw your profits.

Gosh, those were some days. Before I understood how these scammers operated, I fell for quite a few of them. One thing I learned from those experiences is that we humans can be greedy, and when we see something that looks like an opportunity to make quick money, it's easy to fall for it.

they never really left, everywhere you go, you'll find some local ponzi scheme going on, it's just there hasn't been any big ones making news lately i think.

when it comes to "making easy money", there is no shortage of greedy, desperate, or less fortunate people who would throw all their money into a ponzi.
and a lot of them get duped by friends or family members, who themselves think they are helping them.

Unfortunately people will still fall for it since they have seen high yield profit of %200. They forget that anything like this is too real to be true. Such looks so enticing and more like a trap bit unfortunately I don't think that account holder can be able to lure members here into falling for such ponzi scheme here.
Greed is what will make people put interest in it because they are very greedy and want to get a big profit in return within a short period of time as such which is not possible. This is just a tricky scam shit and only uninformed greedy people will fall for it so easily.
