ParnianCoin (PARC)
RandomHash2 CPU PoW · Web Wallet (no install) · Official Pool · PARC/LTC Market · Explorer

Website | Web Wallet | Pool | Explorer | Parnian Pay | Discord | Telegram | Blockspot

What is ParnianCoin?
ParnianCoin is a fork of PascalCoin 5.4, maintained in Delphi. About 20-30% of the infrastructure and services differ from upstream. Credit to the PascalCoin developers.

The main idea: you do not need a desktop client. You can create an account, hold PARC, mine and trade entirely from the web.

Specifications
  • Ticker: PARC
  • Subunit: TAR (1 PARC = 10,000 TAR)
  • Algorithm: RandomHash2 (CPU-friendly, same PoW as PascalCoin v5+)
  • Block reward: 100 PARC
  • Developer fee: 20% of each block reward (disclosed below)
  • Account model: PascalCoin-style numbered accounts (e.g. 12345-67)
Fee transparency
Of each 100 PARC block reward:
  • Solo miners receive 80 PARC (20 PARC goes to the developer fund).
  • Pool miners receive about 79.6 PARC (20% network fee plus 0.5% pool fee on the remainder).
The miner itself has 0% developer fee. 100% of your hashrate mines for your own account.

1. Web Wallet
wallet.parniancoin.com
  • Sign up with email, Google or Microsoft (no SMS, no desktop install).
  • An encrypted key and a PARC account are created for you.
  • Your account number (for mining and receiving) and your Base58 public key are shown on the dashboard.

2. PARC/LTC Market
wallet.parniancoin.com/market
  • Buy and sell PARC against Litecoin (LTC) directly inside the web wallet.
  • The buyer pays LTC directly to the seller.
  • The PARC is held in escrow and released after 6 LTC confirmations.

3. Mining (Pool)
⛏ Miner – parnianminer 2.4 (official, open source)

[GUIDE] Getting Started with ParnianCoin (PARC) — Wallet, Pool & Mining Setup

This is a step-by-step guide for anyone new to ParnianCoin who wants to create a wallet and start mining PARC.

═══════════════════════════
PART 1 — CREATING YOUR WEB WALLET
═══════════════════════════

Unlike most PascalCoin-based projects, ParnianCoin does not require installing a desktop client. Everything happens through the web wallet.

1. Go to the wallet site: https://wallet.parniancoin.com
2. Click "Sign up" / "Create account".
3. Choose how you want to log in:
   - Email + password, or
   - Google OAuth, or
   - Microsoft OAuth
4. If using email, verify your address via the confirmation link sent to your inbox.
5. Once logged in, the wallet will generate an encrypted key pair for you automatically. This key is created and stored securely tied to your account — you don't need to manage key files manually.
6. Your public key / account number will be shown on your dashboard. This is the address you'll use to receive PARC (for example, from mining payouts).

Logging back in later:
- Just go to https://wallet.parniancoin.com and sign in with the same method (email/password or OAuth) you used to register.

═══════════════════════════
PART 2 — CHECKING THE NETWORK (EXPLORER)
═══════════════════════════

Before mining, you can verify the network is live and see real-time stats:
- Explorer: https://explorer.parniancoin.com
- Here you can look up blocks, transactions, and search your own account/public key once you have one.

═══════════════════════════
PART 3 — JOINING THE MINING POOL
═══════════════════════════

1. Go to the pool site: https://pool.parniancoin.com
2. On the pool homepage you'll find:
   - Pool connection details (stratum.parniancoin.com:38008)
   - Current network difficulty
   - Payout threshold / fee info
3. Make sure you have your wallet public key/account ready (from Part 1) — this is what you'll mine to.

═══════════════════════════
PART 4 — SETTING UP THE MINER
═══════════════════════════

ParnianCoin uses a customized fork of rhminer, adapted for the PARC network.

1. Download the miner from:
https://parniancoin.com/MinerFile/parnianminer-win64.zip
https://parniancoin.com/MinerFile/parnianminer-linux64.zip
2. Extract it to a folder of your choice.
3. Edit the config (or use command-line flags) to point to the pool:
   - Pool address: [stratum.parniancoin.com:38008 — get this from the pool page]
   - Your wallet public key as the worker/username
   - Optional worker name to identify your rig (e.g. yourname.rig1)
4. Example launch command (adjust to your OS/build):
   ```
   parnianminer -cpu -cputhreads 0 -s stratum.parniancoin.com:38008 -su `YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS`.rig1 -pw x
   ```
5. Run the miner. You should see it connect to the pool and start submitting shares.
6. Check your progress anytime on the pool dashboard by searching your public key, or in your web wallet balance (once payouts are processed).

═══════════════════════════
PART 5 — PARNIAN PAY — PAYMENT GATEWAY
═══════════════════════════

pay.parniancoin.com
  • Non-custodial: payments go directly from the buyer's wallet to the merchant's PARC account
  • Price in USD and 20+ fiat currencies, verified on-chain, signed webhooks
  • Free plugins: WooCommerce, OpenCart, PrestaShop — download | API docs

═══════════════════════════
NOTES
═══════════════════════════
- No desktop wallet installation is needed at any point — the web wallet handles key management.
- Hardware requirements are modest; you don't need specialized/high-end equipment to start.
- The network is newly launched, so difficulty is currently low — this is a good time to start mining with less competition.
- There is a 20% developer fee built into mining rewards — this is disclosed openly and is not hidden.

#parnianminer.exe -cpu -cputhreads 6 -s node.parniancoin.com:38009 -su px32a23c3eed9b03a2.rig1 -pw x

How do I connect to the stratum pool?

Net   16:35:22   px32a23c3eed9b03a2.rig1 is not autorized to connect to stratum server node.parniancoin.com:38009. If you intended to mine on local wallet, put http://
Net   16:35:22   Error: Connection refused
Got it — so the real issue is the account ID format in -su. For ParnianCoin/PascalCoin-based mining, the account should be a valid numeric account number with checksum, in the format ACCOUNT-CHECKSUM (e.g. 123456-78), not a hex/alphanumeric string like px32a23c3eed9b03a2.
So the correct command should look something like:
Code
Replace 123456-78 with your actual account number on the network (you can find/create one from your wallet). The .rig1 part after it is just an optional worker/rig name tag, that part is fine as is.
You can check/find your account number by logging into the wallet at wallet.parniancoin.com — your account (with its checksum, e.g. 123456-78) will be shown there. Use that exact number in your -su parameter instead of the string you had.

Log   14:00:42   Enabling Memory boost.
Net   14:00:42   User: 'CA0220007C0BAFE59B2D5062E0BC9E32D10003FB8FB6382B9130AD2976FBD798007455F7DABE29E 205D890EB9BB.rajashek41' PW: 'x'
Net   14:00:42   Connecting to stratum server stratum.parniancoin.com:38008
Log   14:00:42   Remote API started on port 7111
Net   14:00:43   Received new Work 1c. Difficulty is 0.0000035

Net   14:00:43   Error: Connection refused

public key is changed
Same root problem as before: you're putting a full public key (the long CA02... hex string) in -su instead of a proper account number. The stratum server needs an account ID in the ACCOUNT-CHECKSUM.rigname format (e.g. 123456-78.rig1), not a raw public key.
Also worth noting: the key in the two log lines is different (CA0220007C0BA... in the "User" line vs CA0220007B33B3... in the "Net" line) — that mismatch suggests the miner is auto-generating/changing the key on its own because a valid account wasn't set, not that something changed correctly on your end.
Fix: log into wallet.parniancoin.com, get the actual account number (with checksum, like 123456-78), and use that in -su instead of the public key.
[UPDATED] Getting Started with ParnianCoin (PARC)

This guide has been replaced by the up-to-date instructions in the first post.

Quick version:
Code:
parnianminer -s stratum.parniancoin.com:auto -su YOUR_ACCOUNT.rig1 -pw x -cpu -cputhreads 0

Note: the -su value must be your account number, not a public key. Port 38009 is for solo mining on a node, not for the pool.

It took me a little bit to get the pool name, port number, and wallet name to be set correctly so that it will let me connect. I've seen a couple different setups up until this point but this is what works for me. I kept getting an error message saying that I was not authorized to connect.

Code:
parnianminer -cpu -cputhreads 10 -s stratum.parniancoin.com:38008 -su {AccountNumber}.{RigName} -pw x

#For Example
parnianminer -cpu -cputhreads 10 -s stratum.parniancoin.com:38008 -su 7-94.Rig1 -pw x

Is this a "Me error" or a "You error"?

Fee clarification: Of each 100 PARC block reward, solo miners receive 80 (20 goes to the developer fund). Pool miners receive ≈79.6 (20% network fee plus a 0.5% pool fee on the parnianmainder). Pool payments are made every 10 minutes for blocks with 100+ confirmations. Sorry for any confusion in earlier wording.

Pool Update: Miner Settings Bug Fixed

Some miners could not save their account settings (public key, minimum payout, notification preferences) on the pool website. In some cases the pool's stats API also returned 502 errors for a short time.

Root cause
  • The pool crashed when the public key field contained characters outside the Base58 alphabet. This took the API offline until it restarted automatically.
  • The settings password check was too strict for miners running multiple threads, so it sometimes rejected a valid password.
  • The pool did not read the standard Stratum password field (-pw).

Fixes deployed
  • An invalid public key now returns a clear error message instead of crashing the server.
  • The standard -pw field is now read correctly.
  • The web wallet now shows your public key directly in Base58 format, so no conversion is needed.

How mining and pool settings work now

1. Mining only: nothing to change. Use your account number with -pw x:
Code:
parnianminer -s stratum.parniancoin.com:auto -su YOUR_ACCOUNT.rig1 -pw x -cpu -cputhreads 0

2. If you also want to edit your pool settings (minimum payout, notifications):
  • Replace x with a password of your choice, e.g. -pw MySecret123. This password only protects your pool settings. It is not your wallet password.
  • Let the miner run until at least one share is accepted.
  • Get your Base58 public key from wallet.parniancoin.com under Wallet > "Your Public Key (Base58)". Do not use the longer hex key shown above it; the pool will reject it.
  • Open your account settings on pool.parniancoin.com, paste the Base58 public key, enter the same password you used in -pw, and save.
Sorry for the inconvenience. If you still have issues, reply here or ask on Discord.

Outdated. Ports and difficulties changed in miner 2.4. See the current table in the first post.
⛏ parnianminer 2.4, the smart CPU miner for ParnianCoin ⛏
Out of beta · Smart Auto-Port · Zero installation · No developer fee

Website | Downloads | Pool: stratum.parniancoin.com

Why mine ParnianCoin now?

The best time to join a network is early, while the hashrate is still growing and every miner counts. parnianminer 2.4 is the result of months of work by the ParnianCoin team. It is our most polished, most secure and smartest release yet. It is built so that anyone with a CPU can start mining in under two minutes, with no drivers, no packages and no guesswork.

Every hash you add helps secure the ParnianCoin network. It also earns you your share of every block the pool finds. Start small, start today, and grow with the network.

✨ What's new in 2.4

  • Smart Auto-Port (new). Use :auto instead of a port number. The miner measures its real hashrate for about a minute. It then connects to the pool port whose starting difficulty matches your machine, and re-checks every few minutes. You never have to pick a port again. The active port is always shown in the log.
  • Zero installation. All libraries are built into the executable. Windows builds use only system DLLs. The Linux build runs on practically any distribution (glibc 2.17+: Ubuntu 16.04+, Debian 9+, CentOS 7+).
  • Security hardening. The remote API is disabled by default and bound to 127.0.0.1 when enabled. API password checks are constant-time. Passwords are no longer written to the log. A buffer overflow in the API request reader was fixed.
  • Transparent by design. The miner never hides its window. It has no hidden dev pool and 0% developer fee: 100% of your hashrate mines for your own account.
  • Out of beta. Rewritten help (-help), ready-to-use config.txt and start scripts for Windows and Linux.

Windows (PowerShell): Get-FileHash parnianminer.exe | Linux: sha256sum parnianminer

🚀 Quick start

1. Extract the package.
2. Run the command for your system. Replace YOUR_ACCOUNT with your ParnianCoin account, and rig1 with any name for this computer.

Windows
Code:
parnianminer.exe -cpu -cputhreads 4 -s stratum.parniancoin.com:auto -su YOUR_ACCOUNT.rig1 -pw x

Linux
Code:
chmod +x parnianminer
./parnianminer -cpu -cputhreads 4 -s stratum.parniancoin.com:auto -su YOUR_ACCOUNT.rig1 -pw x

3. That's it. About a minute later the log shows the port chosen for you:
Code:
Auto port: measured 57230 H/S, switching from port 38008 to port 38018 (Variable difficulty (50 kH/s))

Using a config file: edit config.txt (already set to stratum.parniancoin.com:auto) with your account and thread count, then simply run parnianminer. On Windows you can also double-click cpu-pool-mining-config.bat.

Solo mining on a ParnianCoin node:
Code:
parnianminer -cpu -cputhreads 4 -s http://127.0.0.1:38009

🎯 Pool ports

All ports use variable difficulty. The port only sets the starting point, and :auto picks it for you. A numeric port keeps the miner on that port only.

🔧 Useful options

  • -cputhreads N: number of mining threads. parnianminer -completelist shows your logical cores.
  • -cputhrottling N: rest the CPU N% of the time to keep your PC responsive and cool.
  • -fo host:auto: failover pool (auto port supported).
  • -testperformance 20: 20-second benchmark of your CPU.
  • -help: all options.

🛡 About antivirus warnings

Most antivirus products flag every cryptocurrency miner as "CoinMiner / PUA / Riskware", because malware often installs miners secretly. parnianminer does not install itself, does not hide its window and does not run without you. If your antivirus complains, verify the SHA-256 checksum above, and add an exception for the miner folder only if the checksum matches.

Thanks for testing!

Important: please update to parnianminer v2.4 (released 2026/09/23) first. Older versions will not connect to the new stratum server.

Algorithm: ParnianCoin uses RandomHash2, the same PoW as PascalCoin (v5+). parnianminer is our fork of rhminer.

Why you got the error: port 38009 is the node's built-in miner server, not a stratum endpoint, so -su/-pw authorization fails there. Please use our stratum pool instead:

Code:
./parnianminer -s stratum.parniancoin.com:auto -su YOUR_PARNIAN_ACCOUNT.rig1 -pw x -cpu -cputhreads 0 -r 40

On Windows use parnianminer.exe with the same arguments. -cputhreads 0 = auto-detect threads.

Or use the ready-made config (pool-mining.sh / pool-mining.bat):

Code:
pool_url       = "stratum.parniancoin.com:auto"
wallet_address = "YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS"
worker_name    = "rig-01"
threads        = "auto"

If you run your own full node and want to solo mine, point the miner at your local node:
Code:
-s http://127.0.0.1:<MINER_PORT>
(rewards go to the key configured in your node)

📢 parnianminer 2.4 released – now open source on GitHub

The official ParnianCoin miner is out of beta and its source code is now public:
https://github.com/ParnianCoin/parniancoin-miner

What's new:
  • Automatic pool port selection – use :auto instead of a port; the miner picks the right port for its hashrate
  • No dependencies – just unzip and run (Windows 32/64-bit, Linux x64)
  • Security fixes in the remote API (now disabled by default, localhost only)
  • Antivirus-friendly – no hidden console, signed version info and icon

ParnianCoin (PARC) – Pool Update & Network Growth

Quick update on where things stand:

    Current stats
    • Network hashrate: ~1.08MH/s
    • Pool hashrate: ~2 .08MH/s
    • Pool site has been redesigned and is now fully live at pool.parniancoin.com, with real-time network/pool stats, a one-click Discord link, and a direct link to the block explorer
The pool is stable and handling a solid share of total network hashrate. If you tried connecting before and ran into issues, it's worth trying again — the earlier account-format and stratum auth bugs mentioned in this thread have been fixed.

    How to join
    [list=1]

    Code:
    parnianminer -cpu -cputhreads 0 -s stratum.parniancoin.com:auto -su YOUR_ACCOUNT.rig1 -pw x

    Market
    Links
We're still looking for more small/mid-size miners to help decentralize hashrate — every CPU counts on RandomHash2. Questions or issues, drop them here or in Discord.

Under the hood: how ParnianCoin works (and why you mine to an account number)

A few miners in this thread tried to mine to a public key or an address and got "not authorized". That is not a bug — it comes from the design ParnianCoin inherits from PascalCoin. Here is a short technical overview.

    1. Accounts instead of addresses (the SafeBox)
Most coins track unspent outputs (UTXO) sent to addresses. ParnianCoin, like PascalCoin, keeps a SafeBox: a table of numbered accounts, each with a balance and an owner public key.

    • Every account has a number plus a checksum, e.g. 7-94. The checksum protects against typos.
    • A public key owns accounts; it is not the account itself.
    • That is why the pool needs ACCOUNT-CHECKSUM.worker in -su, not a hex public key.

The SafeBox also means a node does not need the whole history to know the current state of all balances, which keeps nodes light.

    2. RandomHash2 — CPU-oriented proof-of-work
ParnianCoin uses RandomHash2, the same PoW as PascalCoin v5. Each nonce is hashed through a randomly chosen chain of different hash algorithms with memory-dependent steps. This favors general-purpose CPUs over specialized hardware, so an ordinary desktop or laptop can still contribute meaningfully.

    3. Units
PARC is the main unit; TAR is the smallest unit (1 PARC = 10,000 TAR), the same scale as PASC/Molina.

    4. Reward split (transparent)
Of each 100 PARC block reward, 20 PARC goes to the developer fund at protocol level and 80 PARC to the miner. The pool adds a 0.5% fee on the miner's part. The miner software itself has no fee.

    5. Infrastructure
    • Node: Delphi codebase, Windows and Linux64 builds
    • Web wallet: create a key and receive an account without installing a desktop client
    • Explorer: rebranded fork of the PascalCoin Vue explorer
    • Pool: variable difficulty on all ports; parnianminer 2.4 can pick the port automatically (:auto)
    • Pool payouts: every 10 minutes for blocks with 100+ confirmations

    Try it yourself
If you want to see RandomHash2 on your own CPU, the quickest test is:
    Code:
    parnianminer -cpu -cputhreads 0 -s stratum.parniancoin.com:auto -su YOUR_ACCOUNT.rig1 -pw x
Get your account number from the web wallet: https://wallet.parniancoin.com
    Miner (open source, GPLv3): https://github.com/ParnianCoin/parniancoin-miner

Technical questions are welcome — especially from anyone who worked with PascalCoin before. We are happy to go deeper into the SafeBox, the Linux port, or the pool design.

⛏️ ParnianCoin (PARC) — Early Miners Wanted

Most coins reach miners only after difficulty has climbed and a newcomer's share has become tiny. ParnianCoin is still in its early days: the network is live, all services are running, and there's still room to join from the start.

    Why ParnianCoin?

    • A real, working network — not a roadmap
Portal, web wallet, mining pool and block explorer are all online now. Every block and transaction is visible on explorer.parniancoin.com.
    • Lightweight, account-based design
Built on the SafeBox architecture: simple account numbers instead of long addresses, and nodes don't need to store the full chain history to operate.
    • Web wallet — nothing to install
Create your own encrypted key directly at wallet.parniancoin.com. Sign in with email, Google or Microsoft.
    • Free account to get started
Claim your first account for free through the built-in Account Faucet and start right away.
    • Open-source miner — no hidden fee
The ParnianCoin miner is published on GitHub. The usual 1% developer fee has been removed — 100% of your hashrate works for you.
    • Transparent pool
Live stats, hashrate and payouts at pool.parniancoin.com. Payouts are based on finalized blocks.
    • Built-in LTC market
Buy and sell PARC for Litecoin directly in the web wallet's market. Trades are escrow-protected and released after 6 confirmations.
    • International community
Whitepaper available in English, Persian and Arabic. Support and discussion on Discord.

    Start mining in 3 steps

🚀 Parnian Pay is LIVE: spend PARC in real online stores
Non-custodial payment gateway for ParnianCoin (PARC)

Today we are launching Parnian Pay (pay.parniancoin.com), the official payment gateway that lets any online store accept PARC.

With this launch, PARC is no longer just something you mine or hold. Merchants can now price their products in their own currency, and buyers can pay in PARC directly from their wallet.

✅ Why Parnian Pay is different
    • 100% non-custodial: every payment goes directly from the buyer's wallet to the merchant's own PARC account. The gateway never holds funds or private keys.
    • Keys never leave the buyer: buyers pay with a QR code or one-click from the ParnianCoin web wallet. No shop and no gateway ever sees a private key or password.
    • Price in your own currency: USD and 20+ other fiat currencies. The gateway converts to PARC automatically with the rate the merchant sets.
    • Verified on-chain: orders are confirmed only after the transaction is verified on the blockchain, never on a browser redirect alone.
    • Signed webhooks (HMAC-SHA256) with automatic retries.
    • Partial and late payments are flagged for merchant review.
    • Available in English, Persian and Arabic.

    🛒 Ready-made plugins (free & open source)
    • WooCommerce v1.1.0: WordPress 6.2+, WooCommerce 7.6 – 10.x, classic and block checkout, HPOS compatible
    • OpenCart v1.0.0: OpenCart 3.0.x and 4.0.2+ / 4.1.x
    • PrestaShop v1.0.0: PrestaShop 1.7.7 – 9.x
    ➡️ Download: pay.parniancoin.com/plugins
    ➡️ Source code: github.com/ParnianCoin

    👨‍💻 For developers
Running a custom site? A simple REST API lets you create an invoice, redirect the buyer and receive a signed webhook when the payment is confirmed. Idempotency keys are supported.
    📖 API docs: pay.parniancoin.com/docs

    🏪 How merchants get started
    [list=1]
    • Sign in at pay.parniancoin.com with Google or Microsoft

⚡ ParnianCoin Infrastructure Upgrade: Second Server LIVE + Automatic Pool Failover
    Hello miners and supporters,

ParnianCoin keeps building. As of today the network runs on two independent physical servers, each with its own full node, mining pool and stratum server.

What this means for you: no single point of failure. If one server goes offline, your miner switches to the other one by itself and keeps earning. No babysitting, no lost nights.

    Endpoints
Same ports (38008–38068), same auto port mode, same PARC account.
Mining on stratum1? Check your hashrate, shares and payouts on pool1.parniancoin.com.

    Enable failover (parnianminer 2.4.1+)
    Command line, just add -fo:
    Code:
    parnianminer -cpu -s stratum.parniancoin.com:auto -su YOUR_ACCOUNT.rig1 -pw x -fo stratum1.parniancoin.com:auto
Or add this line inside your config.txt:
    Code:
    "fo":["stratum1.parniancoin.com:auto"],
The backup pool uses the same account as -su. Add -fou only if you want a different account there.

    How it works
    • If the main pool is unreachable after 5 retries (~25 s), refuses the login, or sends no new work for 60 s, the miner moves to the backup pool.
    • Every 30 minutes it checks the main pool and returns automatically once it is healthy again (-failback, 0 = stay on backup).
    • Tunable: -r (retries), -worktimeout (seconds), -failback (minutes).
    • Auto port selection runs separately on each pool. Port 38068 uses fixed difficulty for rigs of 5 MH/s or more.
    • Your account and payouts stay yours. Nothing to re-register.

    Also fixed in 2.4.1
    • No more crash when the connection drops or the login is refused before the first job.
    • A failing backup pool no longer stops the miner — it simply moves to the next pool.

    Download
parnianminer 2.4.1 (Windows x64/x86, Linux x64) — no installation, no developer fee:
    github.com/ParnianCoin/parniancoin-miner/releases/latest
SHA-256 checksums are published on the release page.

CPU mining, RandomHash2, no premine, real infrastructure that keeps growing. If you have been waiting for a sign that ParnianCoin is serious about uptime, this is it.

📢 PARC Market Price is Live

We've launched a unified market price for PARC, shared by all ParnianCoin services:

    • Wallet Market — https://wallet.parniancoin.com/market
    • Pools — https://pool.parniancoin.com & https://pool1.parniancoin.com
    • Parnian Pay — reference price in the merchant dashboard
    • Public API — https://wallet.parniancoin.com/api/price

How the price is calculated (fully transparent):
    1. No trades yet → indicative price (weighted average of the cheapest sell offers, up to 100 PARC)
    2. After trades → 7-day volume-weighted average (VWAP) of completed trades
    3. Self-trades (same buyer and seller) are excluded

    Current indicative price: 1 PARC ≈ 0.001 LTC (~$0.065)
Note: this is an indicative price — no trades have happened yet.

    How the market works:
    • Buyer pays LTC directly to the seller's LTC address
    • Seller's PARC is held in escrow and released after 6 LTC confirmations
    • No KYC, no deposit to a centralized exchange

Miners: you can now list your mined PARC for LTC.
Buyers: be the first trade on the market!

Network update — orphan issue resolved

Over the last few days some of you noticed a high orphan rate on the pool (at times 40–60%).
Here is what happened and what was done.

    Root cause
An integer overflow bug in the node's pool-mining submit path. Under certain values, the node
silently rejected valid blocks found by miners. The pool had already recorded them as
candidates, so they later showed up as orphans. Your work was valid — the node was dropping it.

    Fix & results
The fix was deployed on the node on Oct 8 (~07:00 UTC). Since then:
    • 130 blocks found by the pool (heights 10694 → 10823)
    • 128 confirmed, 2 pending maturity — 0 orphans
    • Steady block flow every hour, 10+ hours of continuous operation
    • Network height: 10,824+ | Network hashrate: ~300 kH/s

    No action needed from miners
The fix is server-side only. Keep your current miner and settings.

    Thank you
Thanks to everyone who kept mining through this — and welcome to our newest miner, who found
39 blocks on day one. Payouts are running normally: 23 miners paid so far, payouts every
10 minutes for blocks with 100+ confirmations.

    Why mine PARC now?
    • RandomHash2 — pure CPU PoW, laptops and desktops are competitive
    • Small network — your share of blocks is meaningful
    • 0.5% pool fee, web wallet, explorer, and a PARC/LTC market in the wallet

    New: HiveOS support
    • HiveOS custom miner package now available — add it via Flight Sheet
    • Setup guide: https://hiveon.com/forum/t/custom-miner-parnianminer-2-4-1-for-parniancoin-parc-randomhash2-cpu/89323

Network update — orphan issue found and fixed

Since launch, roughly half of the blocks found by our pools were being orphaned. We traced the root cause to an integer overflow in the node's JSON parser: any solution with a nonce above 2,147,483,647 (about half of all valid nonces) was rejected before reaching block validation.

The fix was deployed on both nodes on Oct 8 (~07:00 UTC).

    Results:
    • Before: ~50% of pool-found blocks orphaned
    • After: ~130 consecutive blocks with a single orphan (a duplicate solution submitted in the same second — expected behaviour)
    • Network difficulty adjusted upward as expected, since blocks are no longer wasted

    Current stats: height ~10,970 · ~236 kH/s network · 0.5% pool fee
    Pool: pool.parniancoin.com · Explorer: explorer.parniancoin.com

HiveOS and mmpOS packages (parnianminer 2.4.1) are available for rig owners.
Thanks to all miners for their patience.

    Network update

    • Orphan issue fixed: the cause was an integer overflow in the node's JSON parser (nonces above 2^31 were silently rejected). Fix is live on both nodes. In the ~280 most recent blocks, only one orphan, a same-second duplicate.
    • Difficulty recovering: after a large hashrate spike and sudden exit on Oct 9, block times went up temporarily. Difficulty is now back to about half of its peak and still adjusting down every block.

For miners and devs interested in the details, I wrote up what we learned in a separate technical post:
CPU coin lessons: hashrate hopping, difficulty retarget and pool bugs

Congratulations on getting PARC to a pool, a web wallet and an LTC market
    — that's further than most new coins manage.

I'm hoping you'll share how you did two of those, because they're exactly
    where I'm stuck. I run a small scrypt L1 (Pinocchio/PNH — chain live,
binaries and explorer published, but solo-mined, no pool, no market).

    1. The pool — did you run it yourself, or did an existing pool operator
add PARC? If you asked someone, what convinced them?

    2. The LTC market — which exchange, and what did they want before they
       would list?

And if you were starting again, would you still choose a CPU algorithm?
I've found that every pool which readily adds unknown coins runs
yespower or RandomX, and none of them run scrypt. That's been an
expensive lesson in choosing an algorithm.

Any answer appreciated, and happy to take it to PM rather than clutter
    your thread.

parnianminer 2.4.2 released: fixes rejected shares on Windows

Windows miners who saw many "low difficulty share" rejects (30-60%): please update.

Cause: a bug in the Windows build's BLAKE2s code (one of the hash functions inside RandomHash2) produced wrong hashes, so the pool rejected those shares. Linux / HiveOS / mmpOS builds were not affected.
Tested on the same PC: 2.4.1 about 50% rejected, 2.4.2 0% rejected.

Download (Windows x64/x86, Linux x64, source):
    https://github.com/ParnianCoin/parniancoin-miner/releases/tag/v2.4.2

    HiveOS / mmpOS packages:
    https://github.com/ParnianCoin/parniancoin-miner/releases/tag/v2.4.2-rigs

Pool side: job switching was reduced, "job not found" rejects are now zero.
Thanks to the community member who reported it.
