While Europeans carried away African gold, Ivory and resources, missionaries told Africans to wait on the lord and that their reward was in heaven.  The Europeans preachers stood on African soil, holding bibles printed with African resources, preaching to Africans that earthly wealth was vanity . While preaching, the African wealth was quietly taken away. Today ,the same wealth they told Africans as vanity upon vanity is what sustaining the Europeans.

What they can do now is just do the right thing because African leaders are still just the puppets of the Western government and their companies, still stealing it's natural resources while paying some pennies.

Enough of dwelling in the past, we can’t correct the mistakes of the past but we can shape our future. But have you looked round Africa to see how the people are not yet aware that they have been deceived? Some are still suffering from the mental slavery that the Europeans put them into. They are still believing those lies that were told them ages ago. It will be long before most Africans realize themselves.

What will you say about African leaders taking our resources to the Europeans? Now the Europeans don’t need to come loot Africa themselves. Our African leaders are willingly taking the resources to them. They rather develop the European countries, than invest in Africa and develop it. There is something wrong somewhere with Africans.

We cannot change history and blame our ancestors for everything. We are doing the same thing as our ancestors, wealth is still being stolen and the thief is none other than the same old thief.
So doesn't that responsibility fall on us too. Have we been able to bring about any change?
Maybe our next generation will also keep blaming us like us and this practice will continue to happen regularly.
No change is coming, as if corruption is not being driven out of Africa or controlled in any way. Those Western countries are developing because of that corruption in Africa.

The funny thing about this is that the companies need to write all their 'stuff' down. Why? Because if they don't, they will forget it. So, when the company people get old and die, all tha new company people need to do is pick up the writings of the original company people, and keep right on going.

It's sad. It's like using one hand to pet you and the other to steal from you. But I for one think the bible is not really the problem here. We as a people are greedy and wicked. Did the Europeans teach us to be wicked and greedy? We learnt that ourselves. We basically started hating on each other because someone planted an Idea into people. A true believer of the Christian fellowship would not reason this way as you do and I hope this discussion does not call for criticism because I am aware that there bad been this religious war that condemns other religions while those especially that practices the preaching of the Gospel by the teaching of the Bibles are victims of this religions criticism.

However, those so called resources you claimed the Europeans stole/took from the African lands is a misconception rather, it was idols (image) which our ancestors worshipped in reference to their maker (God Almighty) that is said to be taken away from the lands in other to teach us (Africans) the true gospel in regards that we have only one true God which was demonstrated true the existence of Jesus Christ's miraculous performance and his resurrection.

There came the 10 commandments included the passage that said thou shall not worship other God except thee which our ancestor worshiping of the images was against the law.

I grew up to meet my grandpa and as an African, he advised us his children not to worship idols which are the images you said the Europeans took because, it has it side of evil practices.
I am not trying to troll as I also understand that we have our different ways of religious beliefs while some are Atheist.

So, that you tend to describe is not resource as long as others sees the images as their idols.
