They all are using inverters and generators that power their house 24/7and that is why he have the strength to come out and say anything that that he like  Even when they are sick they have private doctors from abroad that do their bidding, so they would not understand how we feel.

Funny thing is that some bunch of dumb fellows are already campaigning for a re-election when there was no head and tail in this their last administration. It is now as if the country keeps getting bad after each and every regime. For capping that thing, that minister of power deserves to be punished for it because he is playing on our intelligence. What the heck does he even take us for huh? Is it a child or what.

The biggest problem is the disconnect between those in power and the reality ordinary Nigerians face. When you have constant electricity, generators, private healthcare and other comforts, it is easy to underestimate what people are going through.

But beyond the anger, leaders should be held accountable for their policies and performance. Nigerians deserve better explanations, transparency and results—not excuses or statements that make people feel their struggles are being ignored.

The leaders are living luxurious lives, so it is going to be hard for them to understand what ordinary people are facing. Until they have taste of it, or experience it, if not, they will never understand our struggles. They think it's a free world, ignoring those people who are suffering from hunger, those who are dying, because they don’t have the required amount of money for treatment, talkless of those that have the money, but our hospitals lack the managerial tools or the equipments that are needed for the treatment. We cannot expect them to understand all these things, because they have more than enough resources to fly out of the country for treatment.

These politicians are so greedy.  Apart from the Public funds they loot, they still have their own budget allocation which includes Cars , salaries, travel cost etc. Yet they are not satisfied with what they are getting.  The only time they do care about we the citizens are during elections periods.  They will start sharing things, smiling with people but as soon as they win the election, they will forget about the people who voted them in. What usually pains me the most about these politicians is when they travel out for treatment because they know that the standard of our local hospitals are poor and it's their responsibility to make it world standard. We need a new system of government that can end this incompetence and corruption.

Are we really still in democracy? I understand that the government is of the people, by the people and for the people but it looks like only few people are part of the government. In democracy, accountability is supposed to come first because the people deserves to know how the government is going about with public funds.

What is even baffling me most is how everyone is not even concerned about how things are going in this country. People no longer go to protest or are they afraid of the government? But during when Jonathan was in office people were spreading propaganda and organising protest. What is now stopping people from engaging in same protest that they used in removing Jonathan. I just feel like Nigeria is really paying for the wrong choices they made so that they will learn to appreciate a good leader.

Good and evil must prevail in the world. The way the leaders are speaking, and things with some citizens supporting every step they take intentionally, have shown that the IQ level of some people is low. People who see bad and call it good because they are benefiting from it are the cause of the problems in Nigeria. I wish for a country where everyone will call a spade a spade, even if they were bribed to call it a shovel.


Annoyingly, some people support the regime without getting paid to do so. The other day, I was watching a street interview. It was shocking to see that many people are supporting Tinubu. He also has supporters here on this local board.

Every time these politicians travel abroad to spend their holidays, because they feel there is a better place whereas it is in their own hands to make Nigeria a better place. This politicians have no plan to make Nigeria a better place, they struggle to come into power as if they have something good to offer deceiving themselves with empty promises. And coupled with now whereby politices and Godfatherisem have taken over the day, every politicians now act on the instructions of their masters, instead of the people he was appointed to govern. Of which the case between the Rivers State governor Sir Sim Fubara and the FCT minister is enough proof to tell you how politics in Nigeria is been done.

It's unfortunate that we are from a country whose government sees the basic amenities they are supposed to provide for us as one of the big things they are doing for us.

In this 21st century, a country of ours is still complaining and talking about lights, good roads, piped water, health care, and schools as what the government should provide for us, even though they find it difficult to provide them, only to use them as a means to campaign for us to vote them into power to get the basic amenities we need for our daily activities.

Our government thinks we are fools. In the election period next year, we should vote wisely to put a stop to this rubbish. And if we don't, the same insults will continue and never stop.

I do not blame them having that mindset on one hand, it is all caused by we the citizens who praises them in any little project they build therefore making it in way that it looks like the resources are coming from their own private purses in providing these fundamental amenities

How does a steady power supply has to be celebrated in present day 2026 when many countries in the world are  doing wonders with technology and AI. Ontil the people are ready to take the bul by the horns the States of Africa will continue having leaders that are very intelligent in looting and corruption than in innovation and infrastructural development.

We are always the cause, as you said. It would be better if we started letting them know that the basic things are our right, not them doing us a favor. These past few months, the electricity has been a little bit more stable. That is not a good reason for us to praise the government. On a normal basis, this is how the country is supposed to be. I am beginning to understand that the government sees the masses as their slave. The day they give us chicken instead of bread, we should be worshipping them. Well, I blame the press because I wonder what questions they ask these mf in interviews.

The politicians has created the impression that whenever they deliver the dividends of democracy to the people they feel as if they have done what ordinarily they won't have done or gone out of place to help and provide for the people, which this things are the primary dividence of governance that we are supposed to enjoy without any compromise from them, and it has become a norm that everything they do little things they take it to social media to display it so people will praise them that they are truly delivering good governance, all of that seems like a joke.

Nigerians will continue to be slaves to this politicians because even when election comes they will still sell their votes and won't vote wisely for someone that will take the people as his priority and change the whole system that we have full of corruption. It's very shameful to come out to brag about common electricity that it's our right to enjoy.

Sim Fubara and Wike case are the most recent, the master of Godfather in Nigerian politics is the current president of the country. Yes in a working country he won't even make sure statement because that's a false information telling the world that the country is having light nonstop that people are even calling him that he is doing well but i don't blame him anyway in Nigeria any politicians can just come and say what ever they want and people will just take it likely with them, it will be long for Nigeria to change for better because corruption has eaten us up the country system, saying about voting for the right person we have been doing it but at the end they will announce who ever they want as their leaders.
