Amazing!

It's well known that President Putin, as a true Russian patriot, is prepared to make any sacrifice to enhance Russia's prestige not only in sports, as demonstrated at the Sochi Olympics, but also in culture. For example, Putin spared no expense in purchasing rare Antonio Stradivari cellos for the country (one alone cost $12 million), for which the people adore him and are willing to endure any hardship for the sake of the promised bright future. Considerable resources are also invested in the media, where anyone willing to bribe the president into appearing on the idiot box is given the opportunity. Preference is apparently given to Russian-speaking representatives of the truthful word abroad, among those Jews who once left Russia, who are ready to join those who never left the country in beating their chests, vowing their sincere love for Putin, the great Russian people, and their great country.

This opportunity is readily provided by the Kremlin's nightingale, V. Solovyov, on a television program in which they, along with the Armenian supporters, vie with each other in singing the praises of Putin and his peace-loving, constructive policy toward fraternal Ukraine, where, according to them, Ukrainian fascists, with American assistance, staged a coup d'état. Putin demonstrated his nobility by urgently organizing the escape of his protégé, the legitimately elected Ukrainian President Yanukovych, who was forced to abandon his beloved collection of gold toilets to an enraged crowd, egged on by Western agents.

It's worth noting the remarkable talent of host Solovyov, who at times has to restrain the ardor of some particularly zealous participants in the televised debates, in particular the ethnic lawyer Zhirinovsky and the Armenians Bagdasarov and Kurginyan, who persistently call for Russians to march on Kyiv. However, when the intensity of hatred subsides somewhat, Vladimir Rudolfovich Solovyov reminds listeners of Putin's words about Russia's legitimate national interests, which the West and especially the peoples of the entire post-Soviet space must take into account.

Somewhat unexpectedly aggressive against the general backdrop are the speeches of Yakov Kedmi, an Israeli and former Mossad officer who has already become a regular on Solovyov's show. He is simply delighted with every step Putin takes toward the West.

This same Kedmi predicts that 2017 will mark the end of the European Community, and Ukraine as well. After Putin's meeting with Trump scheduled for April, America will abandon Ukraine, and the fascist government in Kyiv will inevitably collapse, with all the ensuing consequences. Thus, according to the non-Russian participants of Solovyov's television show, the great Russian people can expect a joyful event in 2017: the disappearance of the state of Ukraine. It's amazing how easily, with the help of the media, two fraternal peoples were able to develop a fierce mutual hatred in such a short period of time.

It's mind-boggling, but exactly 100 years ago, a small group of revolutionaries, without a single representative of the Russian people, managed to plunge Russia into civil war, with brother turning against brother. Yes, propaganda is a formidable weapon, especially in an age where television exerts an all-powerful influence on people's consciousness.

But an even more astonishing event on Russian television seemed to me to be a program hosted by a certain Natanson,

in which Jews discussed issues related to the Russian Orthodox Church. Are we really expecting interesting events there too?
