Hi everyone — I’m Eduardo, co-founder of Flip Hop.

I’d rather start by showing you how the mechanics work than giving you a marketing pitch.

What is Flip Hop?

Flip Hop is a daily on-chain micro-stake game built on Base.

• $5 per ticket, paid in USDC
• One round every day
• One winner per eligible round
• Winner selection powered by Chainlink VRF
• Smart contract activity and results verifiable on-chain
• No proprietary token

https://talkimg.com/images/2026/09/21/UqlAiD.png

How each round works

A round needs at least 5 unique participating wallets. If that threshold isn’t reached, the round remains open rather than publishing a winner.

After eligible affiliate commissions, the net round value is distributed as:

• 60% — winner
• 30% — platform
• 10% — rollover

Affiliate commission is $1 per eligible referred ticket.

Why I’m posting this on Bitcointalk

This community has a long history of looking beyond marketing claims and actually checking contracts, transactions and provably-fair mechanics. That’s exactly the kind of scrutiny we want.

Chain: Base
Settlement asset: USDC
Randomness: Chainlink VRF

Flip Hop is still early and the rounds are small. We’re building in public and I’m happy to answer technical questions here — including questions about the contracts, VRF implementation, fees, pool mechanics, odds, affiliate model or onboarding.

Feedback is welcome!

Welcome to the forum. Your announcement thread doesn't look professional to me, you could have taken the time to research the announcement threads of other casinos in this section and then created one that was better than theirs, because in the business world, the company that provides the best service and has the best reputation and image wins. Your casino doesn't have a license at least, I don't see one anywhere on your site. Given this business model, I highly doubt you'll get many people using your casino. Years ago, you might have succeeded, but nowadays people want plenty of options at a single casino because they enjoy a wide range of games as well as sports betting.

I went to the AML section of your casino and saw a few things, such as:

Where reasonably necessary, Flip Hop may investigate such activity and may take action including warning, access restriction, feature suspension, payment-flow review, payout delay, account review, termination of access, and reporting to appropriate authorities or partners where required by law or necessary for platform protection.

Your casino doesn't have a license, which means it operates illegally; so how would you contact an authority? If you did contact an authority, the first thing they would do is check if your casino is licensed, and since it isn't, they would accuse it of illegal gambling operations, money laundering, and other crimes. Consequently, the casino owner would end up in jail.

Judging by your first tweet from July of this year, I gather your casino has been operating for over a month, yet there is no reaction from people on your Twitter account. This is because, as I said, people nowadays tend to prefer the same games found at many other casinos; your business model might not attract many customers, even if you spent heavily on advertising across various platforms.

Thanks for the hard read — this is exactly the scrutiny I posted here for.

Your point about the presentation of the ANN is fair. This is our first Bitcointalk thread and I kept it deliberately simple, but I agree that the thread itself can do a much better job of presenting the product, mechanics and verification resources. I’ll improve it.

One clarification on the product itself: Flip Hop isn’t intended to be a multi-game casino or sportsbook. The limited format is deliberate — one simple $5 daily micro-stake game rather than hundreds of games. Whether that model can build its own audience is obviously something we still have to prove.

Where reasonably necessary, Flip Hop may investigate such activity and may take action including warning, access restriction, feature suspension, payment-flow review, payout delay, account review, termination of access, and reporting to appropriate authorities or partners where required by law or necessary for platform protection.
The AML language you quoted also isn’t intended to imply that Flip Hop is a licensed casino. It means that where legally required or appropriate, the platform may restrict activity, investigate abuse and communicate with relevant authorities or service partners.

On licensing and classification: fair point, and it's something we're actively working through with counsel rather than hand-waving. Flip Hop is deliberately not a casino — no game library, no sportsbook — it's a single provably-fair daily draw, and we're structuring it accordingly. I'd rather be transparent that we're early on the regulatory side than pretend it's all settled.

And you’re absolutely right that we’re early. Social activity and round sizes are still small. We’re not trying to hide that — part of the reason I opened this thread is to build in public and let people inspect the mechanics while the product is still at this stage.

I appreciate the feedback, including the skeptical parts.
