Are you a sports gambler or casino gambler?

From the experience most of us have had we would rather go for sports games than casino games because we believe that we have a high chance of winning when we bet on sports games but that isn't always the case because even winning sports betting requires luck a lot of times. Although it is a fact that you can improve the chances of winning but it doesn't change the fact that nothing is guaranteed.


For me, I play both games, I love playing sports betting and casino games, it's all about having fun, when you are focused on making profits everytime you are always going to think that sports betting is the best option but it might not be. Luck is a major factor in both  games and you can actually get lucky from either one of them. The most important thing is to always gamble responsibly.

Even as you have pointed out that sports betting requires skills. It won't still change the fact that it will still be under probability. You can do your analysis thoroughly and still get wooped. For casinos, it's all about probability and making a decision. And still under probability too. And we all know about the house edge too. You can have skill. But being profitable is the main deal.

I did more sports gambling when I was younger, but this is not interesting and requires a lot more effort. To have real fun does not require plenty of preparation or extra time. These days I just sometimes play casino games because you can start enjoying it within a minute. I don't have to run any kind of analysis to have any chance to win something.

I do not think sport betting should be labeled strictly as skill based and casino games as chance based anymore.

Sports betting is not only skill based, people want to believe that because they want to brag to their friends when they win something good. There have been so many times that the expected result did not happen and for some reason the exact opposite happened in sports, and it shows just how big of an element of luck or chance there is also. I think people that are in profit in sports betting are very few, so believing that it is profitable is deceiving yourself. The results of the games are out of the control of the gambler, and has many external variables that any kind of analysis is not able to help with that. If someone is lucky then analysis will work, if they are not lucky then analysis won't help them.

Just because a player had a one time win doesn’t necessarily imply that the win was because they made a good decision. Even with an awful decision, good luck can still produce a profitable outcome, while bad luck on the other hand can punish even the most logical and reasonable decisions and that’s just the reality of gambling. And this is why it can be misleading to judge a gambling approach simply by the short term results.

Sport is not a game of chance but if you want to ruin your life go ahead and start playing casino games like slot machines, the odds are completely against you and people still believe in the fairy tales of max wins, they do not happen anymore. I mainly bet on cricket and football, so I can be called a kind of sports gambler. I have grown up with a kind of attraction to cricket and football since childhood, so I spent most of my student life playing cricket. That is why I have some skill in playing cricket, so I have learned to analyze the game of cricket well. Using this benefit, I mainly evaluate cricket in gambling bets. If I am not mistakenly this would help most of those gambling site that are launching here on a daily basis to know where to focused their efforts or the best market they should be offering to the community based on what the community love most.

As for your question, you could be both -  I mean an individual likes to bet on sports as well as one who enjoys casino games like slots.
Most online casinos also have a sports betting component if they didn't they would lose a large share of the betting market that is more than a billion dollar industry.
Did you know that even these casinos now have a prediction market feature? What are we going to call individuals who use them now?

This is actually an interesting thread I must say.Sport betting thrives more in the gambling industry because it less manipulative compared to slot games,in casino games like slot games the house edge it’s usually against it’s players making it more frustrating to gamblers that prefer casino games.Then the reason why a lot gamblers prefer sport betting is because they’re actively into the sport for instance football and basketball so everything would be more fun to them because they’re conversant with almost all the football teams and also they prefer sport betting over casino games because it’s less manipulative in sport betting,if the team you’re rooting for eventually win the sportsbook is definitely going to credit your wins to you.

If something like this is being posted here I believe there are some new casinos and Sports books that are launching they could also focused on the effects and reaction of the community to know what they would offer because, as I have seen from most casinos that are launching they so much believed that once they launched their project here and ran few week sig promotion that they could get the required exposure that they needed without knowing that community also have their choices of games which they should be offering to them.

Fyi, both sports and casino games still relies on luck...Surely analysis is very much useful and important in sport betting, but that still cannot completely erase the element of luck coz matches could take an unexpected turn of event at mid game due to either man made or natural factors... For example your preferred team could lose to its opponent due to the wet condition of the pitch caused by rainfall or any other natural factors...
I prefer placing bets on sports over casino games, well you could very well blame that on the fact that I and my family members are all football fan..I literally grew up watching football, playing football video games as well as physical street football with my friend and all this made me even love football as a sport more over other sports...

As for companies to know if they should be focusing on whether bringing sport betting or casinos product into the community, it doesn't matter. So many sport bettors doesn't actually means so many profits from them. Company is only looking for one loyal gambler who can stake high amount of money than many sport bettors who barely stake at all.

Sports betting is more fun because of football matches, many gamblers start betting because they watch football or any sports they bet on.

I'm a big fan of football, and that is where i bet every weekend. The risks are slightly lower compared to slot games, i trust my analysis and luck to help me win my bet rather than completely relying on a casino algorithm. I haven't learnt to play other casino games that are also skilled based like poker.

There is absolutely no way anyone can be a specialist when it comes to casino games because it's purely based on luck and it all depends on your luck in a session, because if you are lucky sometimes you come out with good vibes and of course profit, am not one of those that say that simply bet because of the fun activity because gambling can't be fun when you are losing.

You can only be a specialist in something that you know the final outcome of. You can never in any way be smarter than the casino, because they are ones who know exactly what would happen in the game.

Normally, we all gamble to win; even those who claim that they are gambling for fun can never keep playing when when they losing money without a single win, they will definitely chase their losses and still claim that they are just having fun. Just like I expected in the poll sports betting actual takes the lead. Personally fit me I can do any depending on my mood and sometimes if there's any interesting match like the world cup or premier league but based on percentage I think I should have more in total amount wagered in casino games compared to sports.

This is because personally I'm not very good at predicting matches and most I did predict and won were mostly more of luck than actual foresight. Generally I believe sports is one of the biggest push gambling has especially in engagement.
