I am saying this through the world I am coming from because every government including the developed countries make sure that their citizens live well and also have work to do while they taxed them and gradually deducts their payment. In that they have good healthcare, road, electricity and many more, if your country are not offering these things how would you feel. Do you think there are something you are missing and you would wish to go abroad just to make sure you have the type of life you want to live today?

I don't get the purpose of this, what's actually the goal if people tells you what they are missing in the country and why they would want to go abroad, what do you wish to do with this information? I don't believe you want to start taking notes and after everything take this notes to the different countries government.

It would be lovely for my country to have what the citizens want but it will only be an unnecessary spam if everyone starts mentioning what they want on this thread.

You are talking about third world countries where the development of some of these basic amenities is very slow and people living there are struggling with different things such as health conditions where they might need to fly the patient oversea for some treatments, bad road causing accidents repeatedly, poor electricity causing some business to slow down.

Back to your first question, if a country can not offer any of these basic things to her citizens, do you think people will be happy? This is kind of general problem that people will not be happy about, so you already know the answer of that question before asking it.

There's no place like home, your country might not have all the things you had wish for but if you can really survive and still figure out how to explores, traveling abroad should be set aside first, sometimes you can travel out and face a different kind of challenge that could be worse than what you faced in your own country. Searching for a greener pastures in another man's land is not something that works for everyone.

Yes, If you're not comfortable in your country and you have the opportunity to travel to foreign countries to look for a greener pastures, you can go to any country of your choice, it's your determination...

You have my point and that is what I am actually looking to have people talk about, if we take for instance our country Nigeria you would see that we have a very bad Governance and our leaders doesn't care about developing our country instead they preferred going to abroad to have a better life while leaving people in our country to suffer.
Truth be told, everyone loves their country but due to bad governance and leadership we often see people leaving their countries to another just to have a better life over there and possible they are offering good employment with a better paying offers.

Human wants are insatiable, even if the government in your country succeeds to turn your country into a developed nation, there are still people who will feel more hospitable outside the country. People do not only leave their countries in search of greener pastures or because they're developed. Some people just want to live far away from their ancestral homes. Besides, even in the countries that are underdeveloped, there are still individuals that prefers living in that country than travel abroad.

Countries like the United Kingdom are developed but it doesn't mean that there are no people who are suffering there. Another thing in those developed countries is their high taxation, as much as you earn that is how your taxes will be increased. The only difference between developed and underdeveloped countries is that in developed countries, they have succeeded in making the country to be very friendly with people living in the communities. They have a working government and their economy is stable. There is also less security challenges in developed countries so all these are what makes people to leave their countries to those developed countries.

I think I know about the feeling that you are talking about. It is called "the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence". Sure, some countries offer much better services and have a much better economy, but overall, most modern countries are very much alike. And there is no real "greener grass" on the other side of the fence but something equally as cool.

I just think that most of this countries that folks at times relocate to aren't also perfect like they tend to picture them.. Though they may not be struggling with bad leadership as some countries do but they too have their own problems that folks they tend to struggle with...
For example, some folks relocate abroad due to high cost of living in their home country, but that dosen't mean that they will go there and get a stress free life...Cost of living there is also on the high side, same as taxation and all other bills that they pay there...My brother, living abroad no be child play, and even about the issue of employment that you raised up, well not everyone out there are even employed...The truth is that any foreigners that manages to see job, mostly get those menial jobs...

The success or the downfall of the country is bound to it's leadership. For a country where the basic amenities are not provided, it is plausible to see that citizens of that country emigrate to find a better living, mostly in third war countries. Some countries have the capacity to make the lives of citizens better but corruption ruins that privilege, which is why most couuntries are ahead of the others.

Relocating for greener pasture has being the mindset of many citizens in underdeveloped countries because the government has failed them. Providing good healthcare, electricity road and others are the basic things that the government owe the people but that's not all there is to a sustainable living.

Going abroad is not a thing for some people, but having all the necessary basic requirements of life reachable is what matters to them most. When you see many things you’re finding hard in your country working in other parts of the world, you’ll always wish your country have the same but sometimes from the way your government handles governance, one can tell that such can never happen. Those that have their way leave the country to get a greener pasture elsewhere or even go there to spend some good time and comeback again. As long as there is good governance in a country you live in, you will rather go out for holidays and tourist and then back to your country. You may never find a tangible reason to live your country and live elsewhere fully for the rest of your life.

When you say the word including,i think you are judging several countries with how you see your own which is wrong. I believe every country faces one or two crises, either caused by the government or criminals but it's often mostly the fault of the government. Because in a world where everyone is born equal, it doesn't always turn out that way. When you begin to mature you find out the world of a child or a baby is different and less difficult compared to that of an adult.​That said in my country, there are a lot of youths who graduate every day but they often don't even find a job.Those who do don't really get a job based on what they studied, they often end up teaching in one or two schools. So if you think about it, what is my country's government doing about it I would say nothing irrelevant to solving that issue, but instead price of things keeps going up causing  inflation which often kills our currency the more.That said the cost of going to another country is easier said than done, and besides it's not guaranteed you can get a good job in another country. Though It's worth it in my case. That's all......

I agree with you that if a government fails to meet the basic needs of its citizens, both the people and the national economy lag behind those of other nations. For a country to advance in terms of finance, technology, and the rule of law, it must prioritize its education system and the fulfillment of citizens' basic needs above all else. Currently, political leaders and activists have become a problem in almost every country; the children of these leaders go abroad for their education, whereas the children of ordinary citizens receive only the bare minimum level of schooling.

In any country where the basic needs of the citizens are met, people do not feel compelled to migrate to other nations to earn a living; instead, they remain ever-ready to represent their own country.

One country is better than other, but we can't say a name and this is the best in all. But if you feel you are paying too much tax and not getting the benefit and have the opportunity to move out and settle in Dubai or Singapore, then just go ahead your quality of life will improve drastically.

But if you are from middle class and struck in the rate race then escaping to such places is not that easy.

Actually what makes most of the people to leave their countries and travel to another country, it's because of inflation in that country, and lacks of job opportunities, these are two major thing that warrants people to move out their countries....

It's a common thing people do everywhere. They can't find themselves stuck in a country that is limiting their financial growth and well-being.

One thing those people who want to travel out of their country fail to understand is that those Western countries don't welcome or tolerate unscrupulous behaviors that will jeopardize the serene environment they have built over the years. I think many of us are maybe too privileged in growing up in developed countries where life is just generally easier, but there are some countries out there where it's a gamble on whether you'll even have power to charge your phone the next day. That just makes life infinitely tougher and often means that you pay more for things due to sheer inefficiency. Your government is either not providing basic services or has not given local businesses enough structure to work in effectively. Sadly if this is the highest level a government has reached it's very hard to reach higher now, because the mentality can become ingrained and create inertia that is hard to overcome - certain people actually get advantages from things staying the way they are and can have enough power (sometimes meaning bribery money) to ensure they do. In more developed countries they also face an awkward situation when the wrong leader (like Trump) can undo hundreds of years of goodwill and progress, devolving the country into a much weaker chaotic form.

Majority of people that travel abroad to live went there for greener pasture or to make more money. It's rare for you to see someone living in a developed country to wake up one morning and travel to somewhere, strange just to live without him gaining anything from that country.

Rich men travel abroad to set up business and make profit or they send their children abroad for quality education so that, they can get a higher paid job. For me, It's better to suffer in your country than abroad.

In my country,  I don't think or feel much about the economy because the benefits of being a taxpayer don't exist. Overall, it doesn't feel helpful.

The idea of government and power is to always keep the citizens poor and controlled so that they have no choice to revolt but be obedient and bow to whatever the government in power wants. That is, this is from the perspective of the developing countries, I don't know about the more developed countries, but I think the difference is the infrastructure and working systems in place to make living conditions better or not.

I would jump at the opportunity to sort for a greener pasture in a more developed country because the monetary system and income rate is better than in the developing countries with less than sufficient minimum wage or even infrastructure or good systems to carter for the lives of the citizenry.
