 One can say that the economy is helping if citizens have good power supply, sound educational system, standard health care and of course, a system where cost of living is fair enough. If all these and many more are not being provided then, the economy system is not helpful at all.The living condition in Nigeria is based on corrupt people system and crisis . Some of this people migrating abroad are mainly to prove their economy because of inflation in the country. As for me, if any one can't get the necessary amenities, it is possible to look elsewhere.

Most of the things you mentioned here only sound good on paper and appear real when you are watching the story lines of some countries in movies. In reality, the government only provides little for what they say they will offer to the people and try as much as possible to make it appear like they are doing their best. Some countries might have a working system but the majority of them are under a government which is so concerned about how they can make the citizens under them forever. 

Citizens don't even need to stress themselves much with too many expectations from the government, so it's a usual thing if you ask me and not to think differently. The best one can do is work hard to make sure they will be able to provide and give his family a life of comfort based on what they can afford.

You're right, living condition in Nigeria is very terrible and a common man can't even afford a meal to eat talke more of training a child, rhe worst is the government aids are nit being giving,  Nigerians are suffering as a result of bad leadership and insecurity,  the economy is in sorry state with no hope to reverse it to a better condition.  Living in Nigeria is like living in hell fire. Where you only wait to die without seeing any progress growth od a country.

There are a lot of unsatifactions and disgust when it comes to where one lives, especially when the individuals lives in a bad and corrupt country, so there will definitely be urges to leave and go abroad, because most times changing where you live it's impossible for only you, others has to change as well right from the government down to the citizens but sadly you can force them to change and as a result youll be forced to live in the unfair environment except you leave.
So basically I will also advise that if it requires you to leave your environment to get the life your desires that I encourage you do.

I have seen that people are willing to pay taxes if they are getting good health care educational system, electricity, infrastructure, security and the public services that improve their daily lives. But the problem is that taxes are increasing but the basic services are still there, there is no improvement in them, so people started questioning where the money that they are giving to the government in the name of Taxes is going.

Every citizen can have same living standards provided by the government. Developing countries are also facing multiple issues like housing problem challenges faced by the unemployment and they have expensive healthcare. The difference is in the reliability and quality of the system that supports a citizen. People leave their countries and go abroad for the better life and better salaries. It is responsibility of the government to improve those conditions at home so that no one is forced to leave their family and go abroad just for a better life.

The economy is becoming very difficult and the cost of living unbearable, many homes are separated without help coming from anywhere. The hight at which corruption has entered into the economy and have distabilized every area of the economy.
Businesses are going down while some foreign investors who can no longer able to bear the constant losses have to quit the country leaves, no job, business are crumbling and life is very hard.

In my own opinion, I don't think running away to another country is the only way to financial growth,  I still feel there Is no place like home. We say the economy is bad, the leaders are corrupt but there are still people out there making the bags, If the country doesn't provide, you can always do it yourself, there is always a niche or an unexplored sector that can boost your financial growth even in bad economy.

Many people want to migrate because many countries collect taxes but fail to provide many of the things promised in return, such as healthcare, roads, and even security. We are living in one of the periods with the highest levels of migration in the past century. I haven't looked at the statistics, but isn't it obvious? Due to inflation and a whole range of global problems, families and individuals are looking for countries where they can live better, understandably so.

If possible, migrate to a country where you can have a better life.

If your country offer these things, you must be living in heaven here on earth. What you have listed here sound strange to me because I'm in a country where citizens are left  to their fate in many things... from security to healthcare, and many basic things of life. There is a sharp disconnection between my government and the citizens and the only time we see the politicians us during election campaigns.

If government is creating jobs and enabling environment for businesses to flourish, why would citizens not be happy to pay tax? In my country, even people who are jobless are forced to pay taxes or other forms of duties and the money is not used for what they are supposed to be used for but are mostly diverted.

Why not be direct when throwing shades?!   I'd rather throw a direct one than beat around the bush.

I'm disappointed because these above-named should be the bear minimum but nothing, I repeat nothing has been done. Although, I no longer count on these political representatives to fulfill their promises.

No body wants to leave his or her country for some far away nation, but whenever you're being robbed of asses to basic amenities, you're left with no further move than to leave for greener pastures and an environment where you get all that above. And today, the economy here in Nigeria, sucks big balls. They're not doing anything to improve the lives of the citizens. Pathetic!

But on the other hand, there are countries where:
- people struggle to find jobs in the real world
- salaries are low while demands are high
- taxes are steep and frequently rising
- the cost of goods is high and out of sync with the minimum wage
- yet, public services are subpar, roads are often in disrepair, corruption is rampant, and healthcare and education aren't even government priorities. All this while there is an expectation to be a "good citizen" despite such dire conditions.

I know every country has its pros and cons. But economically speaking. well, things are pretty bad in my country. Personally, I’m very fortunate and deeply grateful. I get it all to cryptocurrency. Yes, really. Crypto truly make my life so much better. Especially since making a living in the real world has become increasingly difficult. Even though I’m still managing to keep things going.

This is the problem in most of the world and maybe I dare even say the whole world right now, In some places it is a bit better and they are a bit more developed because they have a historical advantage for some reason. What that reason is will depend on the unique circumstances of each country that we are talking about but they are 2 main ones. Civilization and urbanization started sooner, and they have more economic wealth or advantage in this. If they didn't have that and civilization started equally everywhere then many more places would have an equal struggle. Only small percentages of people are not struggling to earn enough, even in the developed world it is just a difference in how many. For example, there could be 30% of people struggling a lot in developed countries and 60% in developing countries but besides that it is the same problem everywhere.

When there was no internet, people's interaction with different cultures was limited. Now everything is at your fingertips. Someone in the world's most developed country can see what life is like in the most underdeveloped country and vice versa. They can easily observe how people in other countries live their lives. This naturally leads them to have higher expectations of their own country's leaders.

If there is freedom in one place but constant restrictions in their own country, people will prefer to go where they are freer. If there is endless corruption in their own country, people will want to go where they know their taxes are being used properly. This is a perfectly normal situation.
We can't change some things, but we can change where we live even if it's difficult. Moving abroad is easier than changing your corrupt government anyway.

For developed countries though there will probably be some who will complain with taxes but when we look from the point of view of people who are in underdeveloped or developing countries actually it will not be a problem when dealing with taxes.

Taxes will always be everywhere when we live in a country but the treatment of developed countries and underdeveloped countries is much different.
For a developed country big taxes are proportional to what people get, good infrastructure, good health services and even some basic allowances for the supply of comfortable citizens it is a certainty but for underdeveloped or developing countries such a thing would be a rare thing. Taxes will still be large in third countries but the facilities provided to their citizens are not very decent and may even be said to be bad, this is because more money is corrupted than feedback given to citizens. I feel that for now in my country so even though I am not going abroad just for comparison I think I already know where the problem is but this cannot be solved easily because in the end in a country those who have positions will have higher power than ordinary people.

Open information definitely shows the difference between good governance and bad governors. With increased awareness, people know that their basic right and the use of taxes by those in power need to be transparent.

It is not surprising that the urge to leave is obvious. There are no other ways out when the system that doesn't work takes one to nowhere, but a different country can guarantee a better future.

As a taxpayer, I demand that my tax should be used based on its purpose, together with other tax collections. Taxes are used to fund public services, build different infrastructures and support the growth of the community, unless those taxes are being used the wrong way and are corrupted by those whales in the government.

However, the very concern here why most of the young people in my country are going abroad because there are more job opportunities abroad with higher compensation, so they can support their own family especially if they are the breadwinners. Otherwise, staying in one's country will never give them financial capacity and growth because even the country's economy itself is already failing.

As long as there are taxes collected and used accordingly, people will benefit from the country's projects and operations. Its just that some countries have better healthcare benefits, educational system and retirement plans compared to some poor and struggling countries.

But on the thought of going abroad, its actually an individual's right to find greener pasture and settle on the place where they feel safer and more secured. Because here in my country, accidents and killings are everywhere, drug addiction becomes rampant, and probably because the country's leader alone is inefficient and ineffective.

We have the same situation in what our government is giving us. I'm not complaining anymore because I've been used to this bad situation that I am noticing. I can't change it myself and so I would focus on myself and family and to the matters that I have a control. There's something that's missing and I think it's the action to curb down the higher prices of commodities and everything right now. We have no control with the fuel but, the local fuel industry players are playing money in it. When the price of oil went down, they didn't roll back a lot and now that the price increases, no supply coming in from the Strait and yet, the price of oil has increased so much. There's so much manipulation but I don't think going abroad is the right solution for myself now. I'm still having hopes but hopefully it won't be gone.

My skills are becoming useless in the society where I find myself. I think if I were abroad, I would put my skills to proper use. Some skills are not appreciated where we live. The economy is not favorable to the people who will patronize the skill.

For instance, a cybersecurity expert may stay for months before landing a job. The companies that hire cybersecurity experts are few. Also, some of the companies don't care to hire their citizens. They prefer to hire foreigners because they feel they are better. Whereas there are trained and specialized cybersecurity professionals in the country without jobs.

Reality is, the country's economy itself is so down so there are less chances and opportunities for us to maximize the growth of our own economy. This is probably one of the reasons why going abroad makes it easier for some of my fellow citizens because they are not seeing a brighter future here in their own country.

And despite of the taxes being used to provide welfare for the people, that won't be enough. People need more than that, more than what their current government can offer.

If they have access to stable jobs and can have a business and envision a tangible path to better earnings, then people can stand less than perfect roads or other issues. However, good public services will not prevent people from leaving if it is difficult to find suitable employment. So maybe a better way of measuring an economy is based on the extent to which people can get better without leaving the country.
