That's fair enough, if they allowed transgender women in women's events, it would be abuse, and the real woman will feel discriminated.

Men's events are very different; transgender men will have a hard time competing in real men's events. No local Olympic organizer will field transgender men to compete with men; they don't have a chance.

logically, there is always going  to be two genders and that's male and female, I don't know if this thing about changing a person's gender is a social or mental construct. in my opinion, if someone is a male by birth but decides to become a female that's their choice but they should not play any sport with females that's totally out of line. imagine how chaotic it would when a transwoman competes with women in a game like boxing, wrestling and other sports that involves physical contact, changing gender doesn't change the fact that the athlete is a male.

Everyone has his right to personal opinion and choices, but it becomes a problem when these things affect the others negatively. Personally, I am not against transgenders, however, I think is really unreasonable to include trans in Olympic games and sports in general. You can't match the strength of males and females.

Imagine a scenario where a male who transitioned into female by means of surgical procedures. What you can't take away from that individual is that he will still possess the physicality and strength of a man, despite appearing like a female. So what would be the fate of a natural female opponent of this trans? Ofcourse she will lose terribly (Might even sustain serious injuries as a result of difference in bone size). To be frank and fair, including trans in the Olympic games will be a terrible decision.

Well , I think it will give unfair advantage to the original gender if a transgender male is put against a female in a male dominated sporting activity (I mean games that needs physical strength). That is for example, in football. To allow a transgender male turned into a female to be part of a female team, that will be an advantage because a male is a male notwithstanding trying to change into female.

I won't have an issue if they create game where they are playing within themselves and not to have a male playing against a female in the guise of transgender.

In my opinion, I think it's fair to have a gender neutral competition, those transgender females are usually stronger than other females, so it will actually be unfair to mix them up meanwhile those transgender females will still have the strength of a male. The fact that they identify themselves as females doesn't mean that their masculine strength completely go away. Although, whatever the organizers decide, I don't really think it will affect gamblers or stop people from betting on the event, players will analyze how the game is winning, have their favorite and still bet on the game.

We're now in the era where lgbt community are widely accepted but for me, when it comes to sport activities let's keep it the same as we used to. Male and female. It's not a discrimination if we don't let trans to join women's category in sports because when it comes to physiques, they still have an advantage over biological women, and that's the truth.

So for me, if it's a group competition, then it would be fine to have a gender neutral or mixed gender in one team. But if it's an individual sport, let's just maintain what we do right now.

I have friends in the LGBTQ+ community, and a lot of them are against this. They respect women and understand how difficult it is to be like them. Most of them do not agree with transgender people who will participate in a women's competition, and that's because it will be unfair.
I hate the idea, but I do not hate transgender people. I know some of them really believe they are women, and no one should be stopping them from that belief. Still, if they will be participating in a women's league on the body of a man, I think that is unfair to the women who are playing those sports, especially if it is a physical sport.

Not wanting to do judging but for me it's not too apple to apple when there are transgender people on a team because this can break the rhythm a bit so I prefer the same pattern where it's male vs. male and female vs. female is nothing more than that.

This will probably push the human rights narrative but to me if it does want to make this fair then there has to be a special branch with all transgender as its participation the problem is not all countries that take part in the Olympics have that.
I dont want to discredit them transgender people but if I remember correctly in the last period at the Paris Olympics there was a transgender controversy that turned into chaos in the end so that in order to minimize this there should be stricter rules so that the same thing does not happen and it would be much better if indeed not all participants have transgender then it is better to abolish rather than impose.

LA 2028 seeks to redefine the rules, on transgender, what do we expect from this in terms of market liquidity and bettors appetite in the coming Olympic, first there is already reputations interest which can change a lot of which athlete will be qualify to participate, and how is the government going to screen the athlete to know who is female by bio or a transgendered female athlete, but if you ask the Olympics games such as the 400m runner's should be exclusively partipated by those who's gender matches with it from birth and not some men who trans into women that sounds unfair because they strength cant be compared.

This is also my thoughts, let the transgender athletes be playing against each other in any sports that they choose, I'm sure that their transgender communities would love to watch and cheer them instead of being in teams where every athletes are either all male or female. Transgenders have their rights and they should also consider the rights of players who are comfortable playing with teammates of same genders with them, I'm sure that many female teams will not be comfortable playing with somebody that they know is by nature a man. To watch a game and also to place bets on a game are the decisions of fans and bettors, if you see a team that features transgenders it is your choice to choose whether to watch or not. As for gender neutral games and competitions I wouldn't have anything to do with them.

You know what, this might be controversial but I find this kind of setup stupid and inequal.

Transgenders, even if they take hormone pills, are still anatomically their biological sex. For example, if you let a transgender male participate in a female-gender sport (e.g. weightlifting), there is that natural advantage that such transgender male has.

I mean obviously, you should not mix genders with people who have underwent transgender surgery because it does not alter their biological and natural hormones. As such, they still have that competitive advantage over the opposite biological sex in this kind of sport.

I believe that a biological born male is way stronger than a women, it is how our bodies developed. There have been an issue before about transgender winning a female competition, just by using common sense, it is obvious that a biological male is at an advantage.

As a gambler, on a gender neutral competition, I would most likely spend my money betting on those who are biological man, of course depending on the sports since there are sports that requires good agility which women posses. I believe that many of us here shares the same thought.

I don't know how to explain this, but it seems moral to me to create opportunities for everyone to participate in sports or other cultural activities. Anyone who can participate in sports according to their ability, girls must be given opportunities to participate in those sports. Boys need to be given opportunities to participate in those sports. I think transgender people also need to be given opportunities in those sports because they are also human beings and they want to live like humans.

The way the number of transgenders is increasing in the world, if we give them equal rights in sports, then the number of transgenders will definitely increase in the future.
