Outrage as 37 arrested miners suffocate to death in NSCDC custody, FG suspends commandant.

Why were they arrested if they can not protect them. They only arrested them to kill them as they suffocated in the cell that they were.

37 suspected illegal miners have died in NSCDC custody in Niger State, prompting the Federal Government to suspend the state commandant and order a full investigation into the shocking incident.

The Federal Government suspended Niger State NSCDC Commandant Suberu Siyaka Aniviye pending the outcome of investigations.

According to some news, they cried for help before they died but they were not helped. I do not know if this part is true.

I heard about this news yesterday, and immediately i saw the videos trending online it just down on me that it's obvious this might not be the first time people are dying in cell after being arrested by this NSCDC. Because for the fact that this one that involves over 37 guys who where mining at that Minna Gold farm, then it shows that these NSCDC might have been killing like 1 or 2 individual in that cell, an yet the public won't know about it. So it's really heartbreaking seeing things like this happen in this country. And I also heard that that mining farm belongs to one of our ex politicians Ibrahim Babangiga. So I just hope a proper investigation is being done and everybody involved in the deaths of these boys meant to face the full wrath of the law.

I also saw this news on my Facebook handle yesterday evening but I didn't gave it more attention due to what I was actually doing at that point. Having said that. This is a very sad one that a suspects that is under custody is no longer save, then why do they have to arrest them at the first place if they can't protect their lives, or even put them in a more safed condition this wouldn't have happened. Its heart broken that 37 full flesh men just lost their lives just like that, and I wonder what their various families will be going through by now.

Hopefully, the matter shouldn't be thrown under the carpet just like that because this people can be very manipulative and they don't mind to silent this whole matter. But I pray God didn't let this happen, however my Joy is that the case has gone viral and prominent figure, activist like VDM and many other people's has seen it , hopefully there will be justice for them and what really transpired in the dark will be brought to light.

I came across this news on Facebook yesterday and saw the lifeless bodies of those children being displayed in the open, I think there's more to the death and a proper investigation needs to be carried out to ascertain what really happened to those young gold miners and from the interview from one of the boys that was not arrested he narrated how they were not mining illegally and there are people who owns those places.

Why on earth will the NSCDC arrest such a large number of people without providing a proper confined room that has ventilation for them and I believe those children must have lamented to them about the inadequate air in the room and they ignored it because the lives of the people don't mean anything to them. I feel so heartbroken for the lives that was lost, I just hope this children gets the justice they deserve.

Wetin be the point of arresting and putting them for jail when them know say them no go get ventilation? Them for just kpai them for the place them see these people nah. Well nah the lawlessness of the country I blame if not tell me why these NSCDC workers no go face the law for this actions wey them perpetrate against this people if say the judicial system dey effective? Who even know whether wetin them accuse this people of nah true matter or them just fabricate the offense to justify something a much sinister reason because all these government parastatals too get corruption full body sotey you no go fit tell when their actions dey genuine or not.
