should I tag these guys so they see it, or will they come across the thread on their own?

You no need to do this act. Those members use the "Bitcointalk Telegram Notification Bot" can know as soon as their names are mentioned. I'm sure, the majority of people in this forum are connected with this feature. Since it has been mentioned twice, I do not see the need to do it again.

You can use this telegram bot. Whenever you are mentioned, you will be able to easily reach the mentioned thread.

However, you can mention last time a few hours before the poker tournament starts. Those who are currently busy due to work pressure, maybe able to join at the last moment.

@DurakCrypto It seems you have missed my questions I asked in my earlier post.

I have a more important question though. I can see that you have provably fair system in place for deck shuffling. Do you have some mechanism to verify if there are no superusers (person who can see other cards in real time)? How do I know I will not get cheated? Do you have any certification form any reputed test lab?

I have one more question? Do you have bounty hunter/progressive KO feature also in in your platform?

You can ask @memehunter for this as he is one of the pro in arranging pker tables for the community
Thanks for the appreciation, mate. Hopefully we will be having some fun soon at poker tables  Cheesy

I don't gamble, this is my personal opinion, although you have done so, it is a good thing because when there are tournaments in casinos, they are quite interesting. I play a non-money gambler, there are tournaments in them too and I have participated in them many times, sometimes losing and sometimes winning. I will not advise anyone to play in your casino because I have not yet checked whether it is right or wrong. But whoever is participating in your tournament, whether he wins or loses, can give his opinion here, which can result in an interesting tournament. In addition, the things that happen in tournaments are different from other games, for example, I am talking about the rules, this is my experience, but I do not know what the tournament method is, so I cannot say anything wrong. I am a scene to see the performance of those who play in this tournament.

@DurakCrypto It seems you have missed my questions I asked in my earlier post.
Sorry for missing these earlier — important questions, so let me answer properly. 🙏

On fairness / superusers — this is the part I care about most:
- The deck is provably fair: the server seed is hashed and published before the hand, every player adds their own client seed, and once all seats are filled a public drand (League of Entropy) value is pulled. The deck is built from all of those combined, so no single party — including me — can know or control the card order in advance. You can recompute the whole deck yourself after the hand and verify it.
- No one can see another player's hole cards. Not the admin, not anyone. Each player's cards are only ever sent to that player.
- No third-party lab certification yet (iTech Labs / GLI type). Those are expensive and usually tied to a license, so it's not realistic at this stage — being honest about that. It's on the roadmap as the platform grows. For now the provably-fair verification is what I'd point to, since you can check it yourself instead of trusting a certificate.

On bounty / progressive KO — not yet. Right now it's a standard freezeout (heats + final table, prizes by finishing place). Bounty/PKO is a great format though and it's on my list — good suggestion.

Hope that covers it — happy to go deeper on any of these 🃏

First of all, shuffling deck fairly is a separate thing from the problem of super user. I already mentioned that you have the first part right but my specific question was about preventing super users. Once the deck is mathematically set (through provably fair system), your backend server must be holding the cards and it is not difficult for you to take advantage of that. Please correct me if I am wrong. My concern is how do I know I will not get cheated by you.
I appreciate your honesty about not having a test lab certificate, but having it will boost your credibility more.

Fair — this is a different thing from shuffle fairness, so let me answer it directly.

Yes, the server knows every player's cards during the hand — it has to, in order to run the game. That's true of every centralized poker room, ours included. The real question is whether that knowledge can be used against you, i.e. a "god-mode" view feeding info to someone at the table.

Here's the honest state of it:
- There is no interface, screen or export anywhere in the product that shows live hole cards of other players — not in the client, not in the admin panel. The admin panel shows accounts, balances and game logs; a hand's hole cards are only ever revealed after the hand is over (for dispute review), never live.
- Access to the server and the product is restricted to me as the owner — no one else has it. So there's no "superuser colluding at the table" scenario to begin with.
- My whole goal is to build this platform on trust. I have zero interest in burning my reputation over something this petty — it would make no sense. I'm busy enough with other things, and what I actually care about is keeping the game clean and free of any outside interference or cheating. Wrecking that for an edge at a micro-stakes table is the last thing I'd do.

On the certificate — I genuinely want one, and I agree it would boost credibility. The blocker is purely cost: a license alone starts at $15k+, and full lab certification on top of that is a very expensive story — not realistic for a young platform right now. The moment we're earning enough to cover it, getting licensed and certified is a no-brainer and I'll do it.

Ultimately, on any centralized platform, it comes down to trust in the operator over time — and I know a single forum post doesn't earn that. That's exactly why I run public freerolls with public payouts and keep stakes low (1 USDT min): so people can test the whole loop with almost nothing at risk before trusting anything bigger. Right now, honestly, it's trust — and I'm trying to earn it the only real way, by showing it rather than claiming it.

And to be frank — I don't think any platform without a license or certification can actually prove this part; it comes down to the same trust question for all of them. But if you have ideas on how it could be demonstrated better, I'm genuinely all ears — I'll happily take the advice and do whatever it takes to address it.

That makes you the super user. I understand this is somehow a necessity though but with bigger platforms, they have deep pockets, test labs authentications, certifications and much more on the stake. They are also earning quite a much from their business (rake) so they are less likely to do anything greedy (specially in micro stakes).
But in your case you have nothing, all air/words as of now.
I understand you don't have deep pockets as of now but if you can do some sort of escrow here in this forum, it would be a nice step towards building credibility. Since you are not running high stake tables, IMO, $1k (or even five hundred bucks) would be a good amount to escrow with any reputed campaign manager here.
It will ensure that if in future with ample hand histories (because it is the only way) and publicly available data something seems too sus, at least players can have some loss back.
Don't get me wrong and it is not the only way and you can totally decline this request of escrowing few hundred bucks but IMO it would be sensible thing to do.

That's actually a solid, concrete suggestion — thanks for thinking it through rather than just saying "I don't trust it." 🙏

You're right that escrow with a reputed CM would be a real credibility signal, and it's something I'll seriously consider. I'll be straight rather than just say "yeah sure": I need to think about the amount and timing since the funds would be locked up for a while, but the logic makes sense, and I take the point that right now it largely comes down to my word.

Honesty and trust aren't just a checkbox for me — they're the core of what I'm building. I genuinely believe this platform has a big future, and I'm working toward that every day. You don't build something with real staying power by cutting corners on trust, so that side matters to me as much as the tech does.

For the freeroll on the 20th the stakes are low and every payout is public — a smaller first test. If that goes clean and there's appetite for bigger games, an escrow arrangement for those is exactly the kind of thing that would make sense. I'd rather do it properly at that stage than half-do it now.

Appreciate you pushing on this, it's genuinely useful. 🤝

Sure, take your time.
You can also post a pre escrow thread for clarifying the terms of escrow with community in advance. There are so many wise people here to suggest the fair terms for both (players and platform).

It seems you are planning to organize frequent freerolls for the BTT community specifically. May be you want to convert this chain of free rolls in a series/league. I remember  hosting one for Betpanda and it was quite successful. Take a look:  Betpanda.io Premier Poker League (BPPL) 2025 | $4k Prize pool |

Great idea, and honestly where I'd like this to go. But I want to see how the first freeroll actually goes before planning anything bigger — after that I'll know what works and where the demand really is, instead of guessing.

Good shout on the pre-escrow thread too, I'll keep that in mind for when bigger games come up.

Sounds like you've done this before — would be good to hear more about how the BPPL worked once I'm through this first one. Thanks man, really useful. 🤝

Fascinating enough for poker lovers, I remember sometimes, back when we had so many poker tournament promotions on this forum, seeing the way several gamblers turn out to play, which is the same view I'm also seeing in what you are trying to offer, with the bonus being an attractive point to encourage gamblers to play and stand a chance to win. I know this will be another big hit for members to play and have fun as they experience your platform.

Let's hope there's fair play and fair odds. The former is one of the worst problems with collusion; it's one of the main symptoms of these kinds of tournaments, especially in situations where it's unclear who's playing and what usernames they're using.

If they organize a tournament like this again someday, I might participate, but as long as that's not clear and any type of account is allowed, even outside the forum's niche, it doesn't make sense—or at least it only makes sense for the organizers and "They're".

In its early editions, the BPS was that simple—everything was clear-cut: a spreadsheet listing only forum members, mapping forum usernames to platform usernames. Lately, that clarity has been lost; anyone is allowed to participate, even those with negative tags or accounts with questionable profiles.

imo/fM
Obviously, this is a freeroll and anyone can participate, but implementing a password system and a spreadsheet (at the very least) could be a good starting point for players interested in paying a buy-in for a tournament with a guaranteed prize pool.

Yeah man totally agree with what you said. You raised some important points, especially considering how often these issues keep happening. While it’s almost impossible to stop it completely, putting some requirements in place would help reduce the risk, especially for tournaments with buy ins and decent prize pools. Implementing something like that for freerolls might be harder to enforce (and could even invite more abuse), but there still needs to be a way to filter things out for those events too.

Btw, I’m going to give the freeroll a shot, already put it down on my calendar!

That's exactly how I'm running it, so we're on the same page. The rules are: Jr. Member or higher, no alts, no negative trust — and there's a public participant list in the main thread mapping each forum username to their platform username. Entry is with approval, so I check every signup against those rules before it's in. Someone with a negative tag doesn't get through.

So the "anyone can join, any account" problem you're describing is exactly what I set out to avoid. If you spot anything in the list that looks off, tell me — keeping it clean is the whole point. 🤝

Congrats on your 1st poker tourney!! How often will you be hosting these tourneys?

Thanks man! 🙏

To be honest, this first one is kind of a test. I want to see how it plays out and whether people actually enjoy it. There'll probably be a few minor issues — hopefully not many — and I'll fix whatever comes up. If it goes well and there's interest, I'd love to make it a regular thing.

You should jump in and give it a go 🃏

I doubt I will play as I am pretty busy but I found an old list from AB de Royse777 of poker players that I will post here for you and maybe some of those guys will sign up and play. You should get your 30 spots filled.

Update for anyone still thinking about it — I've bumped the prize pool up to $50 based on the feedback here. Still not huge, I know, but better — and for a first free tournament it should do the job. 🃏

🥇 $25 · 🥈 $15 · 🥉 $10 · free entry · zero wagering · Oct 20, 18:00 UTC

Spots are filling but there's still room — around 21 left to go. Grab one here:

Right on man, thanks for the heads up! I'll make sure to follow all those steps and get registered.

Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces at the tables, hopefully a lot of the regulars jump in too. I hope the small prize pool doesn't deter people either. It's important to support these new projects when they're starting out with low freeroll budgets. If the community backs them now, it'll help them gain traction so they can bring bigger prize pools next time around. Hope the rest of the guys see it the same way!

Thank you so much yahoo62278, for tagging me. If you hadn't, I might have missed this interesting tournament.

I have already applied in main tournament thread but whenever I try to sign up on website, I get an error message.

Thanks a lot for signing up, and sorry about that error! 🙏

You're all set — I've added you to the tournament manually, so your spot is confirmed. The error you hit was likely a short window during a deploy when that part was briefly unavailable. It should be working normally now.

Thanks as well to yahoo62278 for the tag. See you on the 20th — good luck! 🃏

Appreciate you saying that, man — really means a lot. 🙏

That mindset is honestly the best thing a small project can get. Starting out with a tiny budget is tough, and when the community backs you early instead of writing you off, that's what makes it possible to grow into bigger prize pools down the line. So thank you — not just for joining, but for putting that out there.

Turnout's still on the smaller side so far — around 10 signed up — but there's still time before the 20th, so hopefully more jump in. Looking forward to having you there. 🃏
