I am sticking with the tip about gambling what we can afford to lose. It sounds itchy in our ears when we hear it from time to time. But that's the whole point of gambling, right? we know how much we're going to lose and likely to win as well. When we have that money to gamble with and we expect that we're going to lose, there's not a lot of emotional attachment into it and we simply accept the fate of that money. Because we have dedicated it to gamble and we're mostly going to enjoy each bet that we make from it. Not like when we gamble and expects to win a lot and with a jackpot, we get dismay if we lose.

I'm a bit curious... Has anybody said that gambling only relies on luck?. Afaik, a lot of people refer to luck because it plays a huge role, but that doesn't mean individual skill/knowledge is not important as well. In fact, it clearly doesn't make any sense for someone to gamble on something they're not familiar with, except they just want to throw their money away.

So, personally, I feel it's important that we actually have an idea of what we're doing even if we still need luck for things to play out the way we predicted. Take sporting betting for example, knowing the ins and outs, and what the teams are capable of is very important. Random guesses only takes a gambler further away from making decisions that can possibly get them a win when luck aligns with it.

I believe that in this gambling thing you’ll be both the predator and the prey, just In different seasons. No matter how much you try you cannot win all the time but you may probably loose all the time this is where balance comes in.

Prediction plays a very huge role in skilled based games especially sport betting so if you’re really good at it you could probably win big.

Another factor we need to consider is control. There must be a ratio of success and failure, just like you accept success, whenever you loose always accept the fact that you cannot always win all the time even when you try soo much, that’s why it’s gambling (game of probability).

Controlling your gambling rate gives you more chances to win, because the moment you dont accept to loose a game, then you’ve just taken a step to the chronic state which may finish you completely. So the ability to control it keeps you in balance, and with your prediction skill it earns you more chances of winning than losing.

Before and While predicting you also have to be on track, have a standard knowledge of how it works, and keep record of reoccurring history. Luck plays a major role, but sometimes common sense is all you need to figure out what would be the possible outcome of a game and doing too much analytics may ruin or twist your picks far from it. If Arsenal has already won 4 games out of 5 in a row, I can expect a slag especially against a team like Brighton. BTTS or the over options are the best for games like this.

When you ask such question, ok there is no shame in hiding my worst experience.

Biggest mistake I made was getting obsessed with recovering my loss and focusing only on news that supported my bet.
After getting my prediction wrong in three or four consecutive matche, I completely lost my cool.
I kept telling myself, I understand the game, my analysis couldn't be wrong, this is just bad luck! My ego was driving me to recover those previous loss immediately.

You are right that there will be uncertainty in gambling. If it were not the reality then some users would have won consistently and become a holder of a lot of money, and casino companies would not be able to run their businesses for long. But since I participate in sports betting regularly, I have a slightly different opinion here. I believe that it is not possible to ensure the outcome by analyzing sports betting, but it is possible to reduce the   bad decisions.

If someone bets with a general mindset in sports betting, then he may think that if a particular team has won the last 4 matches in a row, it means that it will win the next match as well. But someone who is experienced and has an idea about the opponent team, he will definitely not bet on that team just because it has won the past matches.

If the team that has won consistently before key players are injured in the next match and the opponent defense and attacking capabilities  are strong then it is possible to make a accurate prediction by deeply analyzing all these things.
