Most people want to make quick money but they don't have the patience and don't like difficult and complicated things, so how is it possible? I myself would like to know if there is any way at all.
However, no one should think that it is easy to make money from gambling or trading. Instead, one should plan for long-term and patient investment. Gambling will be addictive for a while but you will never get rich. It is better if you can do casino business. Otherwise, gamble just for fun and not to get rich.
On the other hand, some people can earn money through trading after learning it for a long time, but trading is also risky like gambling and most traders make losses. So it is better not to think that trading can make you rich. However, if you want advice on choosing any of these two, then I would say trading, because in gambling the house is in profit in the long run but although trading is risky, here experience, analysis and discipline will help you do something good in the long run. However, in the initial stage, trade only with as much money as you can afford to lose, or as little as you can afford to lose without affecting your personal life.

I want to know if my advise is wrong, please your contribution also really matter to me so that I can quickly run back to him to share some resourceful information that are shared here.
You have given him a better advise but that hasn’t really solved the problems of him not still encountering major risk in the process, it has only given him the liberty to get to face a lesser risk when he learns how to trade rather than going all full into gambling. Gambling is a game of luck and you can’t compare the risk there and the one he’ll face if he’s a trader. A trader knows a better trade than a gambler knowing of a game that will go as anticipated. With the knowledge of trading, you can make better decisions and also know what to risk in a trade. Gambling is kind of more complicated to understand than trading. The best option you’ve given him is to invest and hold. As long as he sticks to his proper risk management, he’ll not be at loss in investing if he did invest in bitcoin rather shitcoins or altcoins without potential.

Anyone should not think they can make money from gambling. It can result into addiction instead. It is better you are only gambling for fun. Some people can make money from trading, but trading is also risky just like gambling and most traders are losing. Use the amount that you can afford to lose to gamble or trade. They are both risky. In trading, if you are making money, you can increase the amount you are using to trade. Do nit do that in gambling.
Well, money can be made in both gambling and trading and at same time money can also be loss in both so what matters is how good or which one someone understand very well though you can not be perfect in any of these but you can be good ( profitable) in any of these depends on your approach. There are people who are good in gambling and they are profitable but they can not approach trading there are also folks who are profitable in trading but they can not approach gambling and there are also folks who are good in both because they have made time to study them.

I don't buy the idea of increasing the amount regardless whether it is either gambling or trading. It could be dangerous and you can risk losing all your money along the line. I prefer maintaining my limit or my normal amount no matter what. Remember nothing is sure in both of them, meaning no matter how good you are at either of these two, you still need luck to be successful. Therefore, I prefer continuing with the little amount I can afford to lose to avoid unnecessary tension or being tempted to start chasing lost.

Both trading and gambling are very risky, I understand that. I am not encouraging him to increase the money for trading, but some traders can be making money from trading and later decide to increase the money a little. It will not be very high increase, but small and gradual after a long period of time. If the trader is losing money, he do not have to increase the trading fund. Most traders are losing though.

Unfortunately, gambling doesn't pay faster if that's what your friend thinks. Many people who have been gambling for a long they haven't made back half of the money they have lost since they started gambling.
Your friend should take a deep breath, not rush into gambling, thinking that's where he will be earning money. No quick money anywhere, and it's not quite easy to analyze some games, and it all ends up the way you predicted. Your friend should be aware of that before starting to gamble

First approach to the market as a trader is to avoid thinking like a gambler because gamblers only want a way around everything to make quick money without following any plans or strategy. Trading takes constrictive planning and precision to be able to make profit from the market. Gambling on the other hand is quite different because players take big risks and hope to get lucky, it is possible to win huge amounts within a short period of time but everything is just based on luck. Gambling is actually the way to earn faster but it is not sustainable and reliable compared to trading and the chances of making that fast money is very low.

I think neither, it is not possible to earn quickly from gambling and trading. Gambling does not require much research, but at least some strategies need to be followed, such as always gambling with small amounts, so that you can protect yourself from big losses. There is no way to earn quickly; many hope for quick earnings in gambling. They quickly lose everything because gambling is not a guaranteed way to earn; everything here depends on luck. One should not expect quick earnings from trading either; it is a very lengthy process because a lot of research needs to be done on trading, and without much experience, it is not possible to make good earnings from trading. Trading is also very risky.

This depends on the result, right? Both can give you profits, but if you really want quick money, that's gambling. I think that's just how it is. In trading, you can probably be more consistent because, compared to gambling, it's going to make you lose in the long run.
There are also things that you would pay for psychologically, like fear, greed, and the gambler's fallacy. That might affect the results as well in the long run. It's basically based on the timeframe IMO.

I would say dont advise anyone when money is involved. What you can do instead is suggest things rather than give advice. Just put all the basic information in one place and share it with your friends. First of all educate your friend that returns and risk are directly proportional to each other. If the potential return is high then the risk involved is usually high as well and vice versa. So, whether to gamble or trade completely depends on your friend’s risk taking capability. If he wants to make quick profits instantly then gambling might seem more suitable to him that is higher risk but potentially higher and faster rewards. On the other hand, if he wants slower but more consistent returns then trading with a stop loss and predefined profit targets is something he should consider. I think I have cleared up some of your doubts OP.

Anyone can be a gambler but not everyone can be a trader, meaning that in gambling there's no technical know how or whatever involved which makes winning all about luck basically. A random person can just flip $50 dollars and make over $500 to $1k in a slot game but it's highly uncertain and the risks are quite high. You can earn faster with gambling but at the same time you can also lose faster, it's a 50/50 thing.
Trading on the other hand can also be done the same way but that's not a good way to make money from the market, trying to make money fast from trading a lot of times leads to disaster, some might achieve this when they don't follow the rules but in the long run doing this isn't going to be profitable. Earning fast shouldn't be your target but finding a system that works and can put you in profit in the long run.

At the beginning I want to say that there is no source of quick income. You must be patient and develop yourself.
The difference between gambling and trading is not much, both are dependent on luck. But in gambling, luck cannot be controlled in any way. On the other hand, luck can be controlled to some extent in trading. Still, trading cannot bring you money quickly. If you do research, even the world's largest trading companies cannot make more than 60-70% profit per year. You can get short-term profit from trading, but if you calculate it in the long run, it will not be a very big amount.
Investing is definitely a good idea. There is a higher chance of losing money from trading and gambling than from the goal of making money quickly. On the other hand, if you are patient in investing and succeed in a long-term plan, it is capable of bringing more profit than gambling and trading, but it cannot bring quick results.

The only thing I have to say on this is that, anyhow you want to look at it, there is no quick money anywhere in as much as risk is involve. At the point of looking for quick money, one can end up being disappointed because expectation might not be met. Gambling has uncertain outcome while in trading bitcoin is very unpredictable, he might choose to gamble with the hopes of making quick money and end up regretting and if you choose trading, you need time to study the market, so he still needs some time to make the quick money he wants.

Gambling can provide quick results where someone may win fair amount of money within a short time. Although it isn't wise to consider gambling as a source of income rather than a way of entertainment. Moreover gambling is so uncertain and results mainly depend on luck. So at the end people lose money in gambling but when it comes to trading, it also carries risk. However understanding market movement, analysis the market statistic, learning the trading skills and develop the better trading Strategy may need long time to understand but trading should be the main goal is to build a potential source of income

IMO making quick money regularly from trading or gambling is almost impossible for most people if it happens, it's usually just a few individuals. Because occasional wins are often temporary and without an edge and strict risk management, losses usually come faster than expected. Even those who claim they can get rich instantly usually have other intentions like just wanting to make content rather than directly from gambling or trading activities.
But basically, the two still have differences. Pure gambling relies on chance which usually puts the player at a long term disadvantage making money disappear faster. Meanwhile, trading, if done with a tested strategy, discipline and well managed capital at least offers a chance to slow down losses or even generate consistent profits for those who really apply it properly. The bottom line is, what usually determines the final outcome is your own mindset especially don’t think that either of them can make money fast.

That is why they're looking for which one is a better way of earning quicker money an that's because they are impatient. They look for easier things on how to do it and they don't know that they're putting themselves more as there's always the risk that it entails with. And despite that there's the possibility of earning quick with both of it, you have to understand if the risk is worth it. If you don't know how to do it with either of it, much better of not doing it.

What is there is that gambling is not a way of making money because, no matter how good and strategic someone may be, it still needs luck to win at gambling. So, it is a very wrong idea for anyone to think they can make money from gambling. As for trading, it is also risky and hard to make money from, but with good knowledge of trading, someone can make money from it. However, I will never say that it will be as fast as your friend may be thinking. For someone to even have that deep knowledge about trading, it really needs to take some time.
So, nothing can give fast money between gambling and trading. Trying to risk money in these two ways to make fast money can easily lead to losing money. In fact, there is no fast way to make money. So, it would be better for your friend to just follow your advice: invest in Bitcoin and hold it for the long term. With that, there is a possibility that it may make a profit in the future. But even with that, they have to invest a reasonable amount of money before they can also make a reasonable profit

It may sound nice and idea to go with since it doesn't require much effort in dedicating time in learning any skills to start it but not until when you eventually get into it and you find out that it's not really a means of making fast money as it appears to look from afar. Gambling isn't what anyone should bank on, if you're not lucky at most you may never win a single bet and it can be frustrating because it could get to a point when even your strategies would not make any meaning because it's not changing anything. If a person can't spend time to learn trading and patient to have the skills to make a good trader then they should just go for DCA investment instead of picking gambling as an available alternative to make money.

When he asked that which do I prefer to go into and told him trading could be more better, this also struck me to come here to ask on which do you think one can make quick money from them. I know both do take time but he doesn't have patient to trade or sitting his himself down to start learning things about trade otherwise, for me I have given him the option of buying and hold and whenever there are more changes in the price of the asset he is hold can sell and take profit.
I want to know if my advise is wrong, please your contribution also really matter to me so that I can quickly run back to him to share some resourceful information that are shared here.
Trading without knowledge is also gambling, just to let you know. So, if he doesn't have any knowledge about trading at all, and is deciding whether they should get into trading or gambling to make quick money, and you also mentioned that he is impatient, so I would like to let your friend know that the only thing he is going to get out of this is disappointment, because as I said, trading without knowledge is gambling, and gambling itself is gambling, and we all know that gambling cannot be considered a source of making money due to the risks involved, which means that he will either make something, or lose everything he has. So, there is no guarantee of him making any money from the plan he is making. Now, if we talk generally about both, gambling and trading, then trading is obviously better than gambling because trading can actually allow someone to make money in the long run, but only if they do it properly by gaining the necessary knowledge and experience, not like your friend who doesn't have patience to wait or learn. Trading can be a source of income as well, with enough knowledge and experience, and a good capital, one can gradually make money from trading. However, when we talk about gambling, it's simply a way to try your luck. You have $100, you make a bet with it, and hope that you win. After you make the bet, you will either have $200 or more, or have nothing at all, because you can also lose the bet.

Your advice isn't wrong, and tbh, it's actually spot on. But like you said, he's not a patient guy. He sounds like someone who's looking to get rich quick, so I doubt he'll really value your advice. To answer your title, I don't know which one can make money faster, gambling or trading. But I'm pretty sure of one thing, sooner or later he's gonna go broke picking either one. Neither of them is really a good way to make money. Buy and hold is the way to go, imo. Although trading is also fast-paced and often linked to gambling, I think gambling is still faster than it like we can place a bet and the results are instant but in trading, there may still be things that needs to be done or waited like placing an order and waiting for the volatility to kick in. Trades are done inside exchanges and we know how most exchanges are working now, they usually demands for a KYC nowadays. This is another thing that can slow us down. But in terms of security of profit, obviously trading wins here because in trading we can incorporate our skills and not just rely on luck like how gambling works. Investing is good too and less difficult but it is not something that we can say as 'fast way to earn money' .
