The rich people have means of making money which are the sources of their money, it is not gambling and that makes you to be very wrong. Any rich people person that is gambling for money will later become poor or it will be in a way his life will not be moving forward but stuck like a stagnant water. The fastest way to earn is to get a job, tell your friend not to rely on gambling or trading as a fast way to earn. If I were to advise you, stay away from advising him on what to do, there is no fastest way to earn money in gambling or trading, both have risks that should be controlled, unless the repercussions will be much on him that he will come back complaining, you don't want to be the person who advised a desperate friend into what will cause his financial problem, remove yourself from the circle, don't pick which one is best for him.

This is a wrong advice, just because so many people can't make a living out of trading doesn't mean that no one is doing it, I can make a living out of trading because

1. I only trade weekly and that's Bitcoin only, if I have to trade altcoins it will be on 2days time frame,, the mistake that most people made is trying to snipe an hour chart or even 4 hours chart, you can get away with it on Bitcoin but try it on alts and see losses swimming in.

2. I have the appropriate tools for trading, after spending money on different trading tools I have landed on very reliable one that outpaced many others I had in the past.

With the right mindset and tools you will have more wins than losses in trading, I do gamble too but I strongly believe that it's impossible to make a living with gambling, that's why gambling is a form of entertainment than a source of income.

Let's be honest mate. What gambling was originally intended for is not main subject here. Real issue is what we are actually using it for.

And tbh most of us view it merely as way to make some quick money. Hardly anyone in it for enjoyment like people uphold arguing.

You clearly stated the difference  between gambling and trading but one thing that i want to correct is about the amount used in trading,I don't think that it is advisable for anyone to increase their capital just because of the amount of profit that's made, Even though this gives you the opportunity to make huge profits it is important not to ignore the risks. The reason why a lot of people are quick to blowing their trading account is because they are quick to increase their capital instead of continuing with the same amount, this pnly leads to bigger losses.

To be precise, theoretically gambling is a fast way to earn, and same goes for trading. That is why so many people dive into them hoping to get rich with zero effort. But in reality, it is the exact opposite, gambling is fast way to lose money.

Gambling relies mostly on luck. And, you know, I generally have bad luck. So, the answer is clearly not gambling.

As for trading, I’m not exactly an expert, though I’m not too bad at it either. Honestly, I actually earned more from trading. But the two are really different things. You should start by learning the ropes. There are plenty of resources available for that.

Begin by learning how to analyze the market. At first, we can try trading in the spot market. Once we  gained enough experience, we can move on to the futures market. Though that comes with high risk, even if it also offers the potential for high returns.

Like I said in another comment, it may be possible in theory, but in reality its the exact opposite. Especially with gambling. It's literally designed to favor the house from the get go, and the outcomes purely luck-based. The odds of actually making money from gambling are extremely low, if not close to zero. It's definitely not some 50/50 game.

That whole "I'll get lucky next time" mindset is what gets a lot of people addicted and eventually wiped out by gambling. So sure, gamble if you want, but you gotta drop idea that luck will swing your way. Otherwise, you may end up paying for it and regretting it later.

I believe the key difference is that fast and sustained. Are two different things. The outcome of a gambling bet can come in minutes. That is exactly what I am getting at. Rich people make money from other source like business or investing, and whatever they throw into gambling is just a slice of what they already built from those source.

Most of the people which you are going to see now are not gambling to have fun, most of them are gambling just because of money, that’s why you going to see that they are frustrated whenever they are gambling, and they are losing. Gambling is suppose to be for fun, but some people are taking it as a source of income which is wrong. I don't want to belittle gambling and people that are good at it but you might have plenty of people that will profit from trading than people that are into gambling. If you teach 100 people how to trade and they mastered everything and you set up an account for them to trade, if they don't trade like gamblers and do everything according to how you train them, you will have at least 70 people that will be profitable but I don't think the same will work for number of gamblers.

Trading has a rule and pattern for people to follow, gambling does not. Anybody you see making money from gambling is doing it because they are making money from it. There is no concise rules and way to make money. There is better opportunity when you trade than when you gamble but I know many people will choose gambling because they don't have to sit on their screen for long time.
