Trading and Gambling which do you earn faster?

There’s nothing such as Earn fast, it’s either lose fast or lose slow. You have to choose between these two and most of the time people choose to lose fast because it is brought to them as winning fast because Gambling ultimately is losing. Trading can also be gambling and is no different than it if a suppoosed “trader” doesn’t do proper risk management, emotion cotnrol and most importantly doesnt get greedy. The best choice is neither trading nor gambling but investing. DCA

I wouldn't call either of them a way to make quick profits. Quick results is more like it, for both gambling and trading.

Also, how quickly you lose money depends on how you  trade or gamble . Having a stop-loss doesn't automatically make trading less risky.

If you are using high leverage or making poorly thought out trades,  you can still lose money very quickly .  On the other hand, if you only bet small amounts in gambling, you can stretch out your play and slow down the losses.

Sure , everyone's gonna pick trading over gambling. But tbh I don't think it changes much as long as we keep that get rich quick mindset.

In gambling its usually the gambler who lose the money, while house is the winner in most of the cases. Trading is different from gambling in a sense that if you do it properly i.e. after acquiring necessary knowledge and with self control then there are bright chances that you can earn profit from trading. If you do trading with intention of earning quick profits and open trades without any proper planning then you are just gambling with your money. Both trading and gambling have risks associated with them but we have techniques to mitigate risk in trading while its not the case in gambling.

He's right about dodging trading because of his lack of patience. The trading industry isn't for those with impulsive mindset or who can't persevere. The market has a way of disciplining and humbling such people through losses.

I don't even consider those who buy and hodl as traders. I see them as hodlers/investors. The real traders are those who buy and sell on Futures. Those who buy on spot can only profit one way, and that's only when price spikes and not dips. That's not trading.

Well, to each what works fine for them. There are those who can't stomach losses and when your advice to them leads to losses, they will quickly point you out as the reason why they've suffered financial losses. This set of people don't find it necessary to thank you or share profit with you when it goes well. They only remember you when it goes bad. This is why I don't like pointing to people what type of investments they should get into. In the past I did that but not anymore now, except I'm sure it's someone I know that's a big risk taker who understands what losing money is about. BTW, trading and gambling are too distinct stuff.

stop loss can become a check point for trader who don’t want to lose more money when market not running as their predictions when entry. you are right about stop loss even not reduce the risk of losing money. but, this feature at least can reduce the possibility of losing more money if implemented wisely by trader.

and there is a difference mechanism of stoploss between in trading and gambling. in trading someone can set a stop loss for the coins by placing a sell order at a specific price and can leave the platform at anytime, this feature help trader to maintain their emotion from fear of losing more money.

while in gambling, a gambler most be controlled their mind and emotions to stop after losses or win. If they are unable to control their emotion and not following the decision to stop quickly after loss, that person maybe failed to minimize their losses as a trader did. as we know, if the fear to lose more money unable to stop them, this condition will change their mind to get back the money from losses once again than thinking about i have to stop right now.

Both trading and gambling have the potential to make money but there is also a high risk of losing money. There is no guarantee of making money through gambling because the results are unpredictable and depend a lot on the luck of the gambler. If you are lucky, you can make money quickly through gambling but it is a fact that the chances of losing money are higher than winning money through gambling. From my point of view, there is a higher chance of making money through trading because it is more about a person's knowledge, skills, strategy and trading with awareness and emotion control, which can reduce losses and increase the chances of making money.

Sure , everyone's gonna pick trading over gambling. But tbh I don't think it changes much as long as we keep that get rich quick mindset.

If you think about it, your opinion is certainly valid. Regardless of how quickly or slowly you gain profits, it certainly depends on how you manage it. However, in my opinion, if we trade using large multiples and win with a large capital, we will quickly gain profits. Trading is still a fast way to generate profits, but of course, if you want to make a quick profit, the risks are very high. However, the topic is about whether trading or gambling can make a profit quickly. In my opinion, both are fast, but with consistent luck and profit in trading and gambling. However, to seek wealth, it's better to do business. Trading is still better as a side job, while gambling is just for fun and entertainment.

But I was wondering if you have any ideas on how to make a quick profit besides trading and gambling? I would be very happy if you could share your knowledge and experience.
