I don't know if you haven't noticed but Bitcoin has actually has one of the most incredible run in terms of price Mark from its inception to the current all time has high and even to the present price now. If we go by percentage then I'm free to say put zero trust in banks because they are centralized, they have control over your finances and makes you believe they are helping you store your wealth.

yes it wont be the value of bitcoin only that will matter but also the infrastructure surrounding it. like the decentralization, sovereignty, permissionless and and other factor that are unique to bitcoin protocol would be what matter even when bitcoin price is not is not considered.

The thing about bitcoin is that it is not evolving and you doesn't look like something that will go obsolete just like that. As technology advances and the world financial system changes, one thing that will continue to remain relevance is the ease with which cross border payment can be carried out using bitcoin and this is one of the reason why it will continue to remain relevance even as technology gets more advanced.

Trust in banks is already a complete disappointment; we should know this and understand why we shouldn't depend on commercial banks at all, because they are regulated by the government. I doubt the price of Bitcoin is of a serious concern as far as the future of Bitcoin is concerned, even though it is the modern digital gold and just like gold, the price on its value is at higher than equals to fiat currency in everyway making it more efficient as a hedge against inflation.

Bitcoin showed how trust can be infused in codes and it works as compared to traditional fiat systems that a third party must be involved.
