SASEUL (SL) mining on an old GPU

Why I'm posting
I have an old PC with a GTX 16 series card that was mostly sitting idle, so a few weeks ago I started mining SASEUL (SL) on it. I'm holding what I mine because I think it may be worth more later. I couldn't find a SASEUL thread on this board, so here are my notes in case someone else has an old card doing nothing.

What SASEUL is (short version)

- A mineable coin with its own mainnet, not a token on another chain
- Mainnet running since May 2022, no downtime as far as I know
- No ICO, no presale
- Smart contracts run on-chain, and NFTs can live fully on-chain
- Finality is around 4-6 seconds
- Official wallet: Guardee (guardee.io), on Android and iPhone

Before you start
Right now there is nowhere to trade SL. It was listed on BitMart around May 2025, and since BitMart went down there's been nowhere to trade it. CPU mining used to work, now it's GPU.
If you mine it, mine it for the future.

What you need
NVIDIA card only (no AMD), the NVIDIA driver, and CUDA 12.x or 13.x. CUDA isn't bundled, you install it yourself.
The miner runs on Windows (windowed or command-line build) and Linux (command-line build).

Setup (what I did on Windows 10)

1. Install Guardee on your phone and make an address
2. Install the NVIDIA driver and CUDA
3. Download the miner from the pool site and unzip it. No installer. I used the windowed build
4. Open the System tab and check nothing is marked missing
5. Paste your address, press Start mining
Took me about 15 minutes. On Linux it's the command-line build, the pool site has the steps.
If you get stuck, asking an AI works fine, and there's a Telegram group for questions too.

GPU usage
It starts at 25% by default, which is where I started too. At 100% the fan got loud and the PC stuttered whenever I used it for anything else. 50% is where I settled, I barely notice it now. There's a slider for it on the Mine tab.

Power
I'm on normal residential power. One card at 50% doesn't add much, but it's not zero, so check your own rates before running several cards.

Not an official SASEUL pool. It looks like it's run by one person. I'm just a participant, I don't run it.

Anyone running it on a different card or on Linux? Curious what GPU % works for you.
