Most the casino do say that they are not kyc but when there is a huge winning you would see them demanding for additional verification to prove the origin of the funds. Meanwhile, during deposit they wouldn't ask for such verification till when the said gambler wins something big.

You're right, but they also have this thing mentioned in their terms and conditions, it's just that most gamblers don't read through the terms and conditions before they join a platform and start using it, which is the reason why they later start complaining. If you are joining a platform, you should at least first confirm things that you either like or dislike, so that you can make the final decision without having to get into trouble later on.
Deposits should only be made once it is confirmed that the platform doesn't or wouldn't ask for KYC in any case. One can also confirm this from their support before making a deposit, because you don't need to make a deposit to have access to their customer support.
@OP, I would also suggest SwC poker if you are looking for a complete no-KYC poker platform. I have used it in the past, and never had any problems with withdrawals or even deposits. BTC is the primary source of funds in it, but you can also deposit using other coins and tokens. It might not have a very large user base, but there are at least 100 or more users active most of the time.
