I believe the issue here is that bonuses have a way of shifting your attention so that you'll be more concerned with the task you need to complete rather than how much you're spending.  I would also prefer to set a limit for gambling and then keep to it, instead of increasing my betting amounts because of the chance of meeting up with a bonus requirement. In some cases, I think it's better to just ignore most of these bonuses. Because it will really make things easier for you, at least you'll be able to wager within your limit and you don't have any reason to be pressured just because you want to unlock something.

I never took bonus wagering requirements all that seriously. But I did get freerolls for sports betting a few times.
