Well when they patch it I don't like it very much, they may say it is a vulnerability patched yet for me maybe something else. There is a famous guy which I forgot the name now in Vegas in 2009 who beat the algorithm of video poker and started winning in different casinos and even teamed up with another guy winning 1 million dollars. The security of the casinos noticed through camera that he won with the same hand always and started sueing him. Nothing happened as  the accusation dropped with the defense saying he didn't break or hacked into the machine.

With this story I want to say that I don't trust patches and when they take your money they don't cry but when you take theirs they start crying.

Know this and know peace, the goal is to make gamblers win less and lose more, If your favourite slots game is been patched and you noticed that the volatility is now higher than before the choice is yours to make.

Someone who is gambling for fun wouldn't mind, since the game is entertaining to them and that what they care about, they won't mind.

In your own experience it seems like this game has gave you more profits than any other, and this might even be the reason behind the patch, unfortunately casinos wouldn't want something like that to keep reoccurring.

Maybe this is part of a strategy, at first you play, find the games that suit you, you might even win, clear the bonuses, and get used to that game. But not all players pay attention to updates, and then after an update, its RTP or odds can change significantly, and the game is no longer as suitable for you as it was before. You start losing, and the casino wins again.

I have never faced when slots I wish to play or games were patched or got any updates. Moreover, I am such a unserious gambler (or I just dont pay much attention to such things), that such things as RTP, house edge, cashbacks, rakebacks does not bother me at all. It’s very rare for a provider to modify or adjust RTP of existing slot games. On Stake, there’s slot games which is enhanced RTP which is the same game but higher RTP than the original games not the other way around of lowering the RTP.

Most of the eligible games for bonus are always those slot games with RTP. I believe casino has access to the live RTP data so they can monitor what slot games has high/low RTP so that they can add or remove that specific games for eligible slot games.

I mean, I would never notice the patch unless it was announced by the platform, since I mostly lose the bet on this kind of casino games, probably why I usually just go with sports betting.

It's hard to see what is going on on the backend of the platform, it's still a centralized platform, so they have control of all of the games. If they see someone winning a huge amount, they might do something or some tweaks to avoid that. It doesn't seem fair, in my opinion, because I don't even know if the game was fair at all.

But the way I see it as a business, since the game was coded, there might always be a thing where they were always going to profit so with that I can see why they are doing this kind of things.

Of course, that's the trick the casino uses overtime. They patch the games to make it difficult for you to win like before and make bonus difficult to hit too. I have experienced this in the past. Slot games aren't only patched because of vulnerability that allows the gamblers to win more. The casino patches these games to their own favor or have you forgotten they're running a business. Yes it is done to increase player engagement and house revenue, you know that the normal small wins can make players break even sooner and possibly walk away, so developers patch the games  to change the focus from series of small wins to rare huge life changing wins which makes gamblers play more to target those larger wins.

Game developers update games to increase users engagement and encourage players to spend more money on those games.

I don't think I've noticed this in my slot games but if its the case, I'll not necessarily change my style, I'll still stick to budget because I'm there to have fun and not to chase the high rewards.

I am not remember exactly but I am not win the most. I don't know whether the situation change or they patched it but at that time, I lose some. If I know they patch the game, I will not play that game anymore and search for other games. Now, answering your question, I would just switch to another game if a game I liked was patched in a negative(for me) way. There's so many amazing slots around, I can't even try for once most of them. So, it's not a problem. If they change the game the way we don't like, we just stop playing it.

I haven't tried playing a casino before, but I have friends who do. But we know that they are all out for there profit, and sometimes they can introduce something new into the system to regulate possibly constant wins or there vulnerability.

It's just business, they can't have players winning more than normal, it's one thing to win a big amount once, it's another to win regularly even though the winnings aren't that big, even though they are trying to sell the idea that they want you to win, winning to many time can be a problem especially when it seems like you are exploiting a vulnerability in their system.

Winning is part of the fun in gambling, the adrenaline is just one part of it, it feels even more good to play and win so I can understand if someone feels off when they win alot with a particular game and then the casino makes it so they don't win easily with that game again.

If you feel your edge on the slot game changed after they patched it, avoid playing on that and move to a new games. Most slot games are running and changing with time with new players coming everyday so developers need to change stuff to keep them relevant to the current crowd.

The game will likely not have been rigged because in doing so they would lose their honest customers but it is possible that one might find themselves suspicious of everything that the new game returns even though it might be completely fair.

Still I would definitely feel bad if they patched my favorite games, but you are the customer and you have choice of changing the provider.
