If your friend decides to start scamming people what else? Use that money to start a family or start buying properties? Like what my country people are doing? They so believe that stealing money and using the money right means you escaped karma or judgement.

When a fraudster researches karma sufficiently, they will never have the audacity to seize someone else wealth. But in the present time, there are very few individuals with this kind of mentality. Since we all think worldly thoughts and consider how to live luxuriously. Accordingly, when a person suffers financial loss, they become quite despondent and there is a risk of engaging in wrongdoing out of that regret. @OP, friend has faced exactly this kind of situation.

Op's friend might have been drowning in a lot fo thought on his to either get revenge or male quick money like those scammers does. You know that's how it normally starts, first the thoughts comes in then you begin to have options.

Scammers will not have a good end, the laws of karma are real. You might get away today but tomorrow it all comes back knocking. They don't always have a good ending like in the fairy tales we all know.

Your friend is trying to act base on frustration, just ask him to be calm before making any decision, he shouldn’t make decision when he is frustrated. Also ask him how will he feel after scamming someone, how will he feel when he is spending the money that doesn’t belong to him? How will he feel when he knows that he has to hurt someone just to make himself happy? When he was lost his investment, he felt bad, so he should just imagine it that he is the one that’s going to make other people feel bad. He should have critical thinking about what he wants to do, and he will realize he is trying to do the wrong thing.

Some people think it is easy to scam others, but it's actually not, and even though it may seem to us that scammers don't really do much and earn free money, but they actually put in a lot of effort to trap us, and it requires a lot of knowledge and experience to execute a plan successfully. So your friend will most probably get tired of trying and getting nothing even if he tries scamming others a well, lol.

The first question that should be raised here is, how did he lose his holdings? Because as far as I know, you don't lose money as an investor until you sell your assets at a loss yourself, and if you do that, it's your fault for not being patient enough, and you can't blame the market for it because the market will obviously not always be favourable to you, it is just that you have to stay patient, and wait for favourable times.

Repeating news about crypto scam and hearing more and more story about crypto fraud will reinforce the negative stigma which often equate all cryptocurrency assets with fraud schemes or digital gambling. The general public tends to overgeneralize they hard to distinguish between the individual perpetrators and the underlying asset technology. Crypto fraud especially with million dollar lost case is immediately equated with investment scams disguised as trading robots or binary optionsleading , then they snap conclusion that anything related to crypto inevitably ends in a scam.

In my country there are alleged crypto investment fraud case done by crypto influencers who have expensive membership and course charges around usd 1100/year. His scheme from pump and dumb, unrealistic promised return up to 500% , as well as the promotion of digital assets which don't have official authorization, this case caused loss trust which immediately spread accross entire crypto ecosystem in my country.

I understand that how he might have felt. And for some reasons, I will not blame him for giving up on bitcoin because he tried and due to unforeseen circumstances he was unlucky.
Now this individual in question has been in such situation and have known how it really felt because he’s been a victim, and now he chose that path and even want more people to join him.

Scammers and hackers are also getting caught. They do not live in peace but in constant fear and a loss of peace.
Your friend can pick up the pieces of his life back. There is always a lesson to learn with every situation...what lesson has he learnt and how can he use that to propel his life back to some order.
It is not the end of the world. He should look up the others who have even lost more than he did yet they fought through the pain and regret and are back on their feet.

The only advice for your friend I can think about is to try not investing any more. There are always ups and downs when we invest in any market and not just cryptos. It seems like your friend lost a big chunk of money which he was not ready for and that is what hurts most. For this very reason, seasoned people over here always say to invest only what you can afford to lose. Investing more than that is always going to hurt our emotions in some or other way.

Scammers have been finding ways to earn illicit money but I think these scammers will have to repay some or the other place. They can't just get away with it. The law of karma is real but people don't want to know that, they only want to satisfy there immediate cravings and not look at the consequences on the long term. This story of scam is also synonymous to bribing and corruption going on in different places and at the end, the children of those people who take bribe turn out to be irresponsible.

Yes, the best in such situation is to let go and move on with the lesson learnt, not to make such mistake again. There is a popular quote that say "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.". So the lesson learnt should be taken very importantly instead of trying to go back scamming others. Life could be very unfair to people sometimes but however it shouldn't make one to change from their good way into something everybody will detest, so actually if it was my friend is the same advice I would have given him because scamming someone is the height of wickedness, and besides there are some frustration that would even lead you into further destruction were you will never have your normal life back, to me there is know amount of money I would loss to scammers would make me want to join scamming as a pay back because it doesn't worth it, meanwhile life doesn't even end in one fall but other recovery opportunities will always come.

You mean he lost 10 Bitcoin to a freaking scammer? God possible? I'm lost of words here because I don't understand how a person will have 10 Bitcoin and don't really know how to safeguard it against scammer. It's even silly to have such Bitcoin and easily lose it to scammer for free regardless of how the attack came to him. I mean, hardware wallet isn't that expensive to get and if you actually do a proper back up of your wallet, no way  a scammer is reaching there.

Well, there is nothing good about scamming. People that scam him today may have gotten away with it but they will eventually get caught one way of the other. Karma is real for people that believe it and even if you don't believe, one day law enforcement will get them. The fact that he lost this one shouldn't discourage him from not trying again, crime doesn't pay.

It really is frustrating to not see the fruit of your labor while seeing those not playing fair make money and get away with it. Others might get out unscathed, but what if he didn't? Then that makes things even worse. Those are people that don't have a conscience. No matter how hard his life would be, never resort to such a thing.

You should advise him to be patient, and there will be a time when he will win and that can wash away all those frustrations. If he didn't make it yesterday, he still has a chance another day and so on. It's not like he'd be in a low state forever. The timing is just not right yet, but he will get there eventually.
